Bob | The area around the store is one of the older areas, near the spaceport. There are no prefab shelters in this area of the town. The store itself looks to be of human design. An occasionally flickering holographic sign reads "Crazy Bob's Armory!" in a fancy, colorful font, along with a picture of a krogan holding a massive rocket launcher in one hand and a hammer in the other.

Renala has been looking around town for a bit, and have finally arrived outside what she has good reason to believe is the weapons store. She brings up her omni-tool and has it translate the sign to confirm that it indeed is Crazy Bob's Armory. The asari's modestly dressed; jeans, and a dark blue top underneath a thin gray jacket that's mostly zipped up. She lets the omni-tool's projection dissipate as she makes her way towards the store's entrance and walks inside if the door prompts her with a green interface or opens automatically.

Bob | The door slides open, revealing a fairly small store space overflowing with weaponry of various kinds - mass produced Elkoss Combine items, some rarer pieces of weaponry, tattered mannequin's showing off various armors and several antiques, such as warhammers extremely outdated firearms. The atmosphere is noticably more relaxed than any Citadel Space weapon's dealer. On her way in Renala would meet a human just leaving the store. Two LOKI mechs stand by the inside of the door, providing security. Bob himself is standing at a workbench behind the counter, tinkering with a rifle. As the door notifies him of the asari's presence he turns around and lifts his arms enthusiastically. "Welcome! Welcome to Crazy Bob's Armory!"

Renala walks past the human, noticing him in due time. She looks around the store curiously before the volus speak to her. "Hey," she walks up towards the counter. She decides to get right to the point "I'm looking for a reliable pistol, or submachine gun," she continues and glances to the side. "Sure seems like weapons have come a long way since I last bought one."

Excellent, excellent! We have a wide selection! Can I interest you in this Carnifex with boosted kinetic coils and an enhanced barrel? Packs quite a punch - if you can handle the recoil, that is. He coughs after the last part.

Bob continues speaking, without any breaths yet. "Or perhaps I can interest you in this fine krogan-made submachine gun?" He takes a long breath and puts a Punisher on the table next to the Carnifex.

Burst-fire, one armor piercing bullet per burst allows for... breath ...flexible use!

Bob talks at a remarkable speed for a volus.

Renala smiles amusedly, seeing how the name of the store seems to make sense now, though she hides it quickly enough. She looks at the weapons. "Thank you," she says while looking at the weapons suggested thoughtfully. "What more can you tell me about the pistol?"

It can punch through most common armor suits with ease thanks to the high-powered shots. The heat sink allows for six shots before reloading. The recoil is, of course... breath ...considerable.

It has good accuracy at medium range, of course, and, as you can see, a stylish black finish.

Renala nods acknowledging. "I've heard about the new heat sink system," she says, her tone not uindicating anything really. "Medium-range," Renala continues. "I assume it's versatile weapon, then?"

Of course! Of course!

Renala | "Ah, I'm definitely considering it, then," Renala says with a small smile. "So, how about the submachine gun?" She glances at the Punisher, tilting her head a little. "You said it was made by krogan," she continues. "Is it made for krogan, too, recoil-wise?"

breath No, no, it's made for vorcha actually. Simplifies the weapon handling by including armor-piercing rounds in every burst. It's a bit recoil-heavy, but managable.

Renala | "Sounds like an interesting gun," Renala says, glancing once more at the weapons. "How's the range, compared to the pistol?"

It is about the same, but the accuracy is... breath ...lower.

Renala | "I see," Renala says, seeming thoughtful as she weighs the choices in her mind given the details she has. "I'm leaning towards the pistol, to be honest. How much will it cost?"

Bob seems rather surprised, but slides over a datapad with the gun specs - in line with what he mentioned, and the pricetag - several thousand credits. Rather costly.

Renala frowns thoughtfully as she peruses the specifications and the price. "I can afford this gun, but I'm not sure enough how things will turn out for me in the long run to risk spending that," she says, "so I'd like to know if there are any cheaper options you'd recommend?"

Absolutely! breath If you're looking for something cheap but reliable, you want an M-3 pistol! ERCS makes them. Just 200 credits. An extra hundred and I'll tweak the factory settings for optimum performance.

Bob waves his hands energetically as he speaks, nearly knocking over a pile of small boxes.

Renala chuckles weakly as it seems he jumps to the other extreme at her response. "Doesn't sound like too bad of a deal, and I can't really go too wrong with 300 credits," she says. "Do you have a middle ground between that and the expensive pistol?"

Well, I do have civilian grade M-5 pistols. 1500 credits, good short-range stopping power and accuracy. It's not... breath ...mod friendly though, for that you would have to get the military variant.

I have a few unmodded M-6s too. Still more of a hand cannon than a sidearm though, even without the enhancements.

Renala nods acknowledging. "I just need a side-arm, so I'm not really too worried about that I can't get it modded," she replies. "I suppose the M-5 will be good enough for that."

It should be, although... breath ...I feel obliged to mention that the M-3's light weight and low recoil makes it ideal for biotics since it can easily be fired one-handedly. Of course, if you don't use your biotics much the M-5 is a superior handgun.

Renala smirks, finding it a bit odd for a weapons dealer outside council space to care for customer service over maximizing profits. "I do use my biotics quite often in combat, yes," she answers with a nod, "but I've long since learned not to put faith in that they'll last me for an entire job." She pauses. "I think I'll go for the M-5."

Bob nods and runs off to fetch a Phalanx from one of the store's gun racks. It lacks the iconic laser sight of the military variant, and it has a silver finish. "Can I... breath ...I assume you'll be wanting thermal clips and an ammunition block to go with that? Can I interest you in anything else? A grenade launcher? A hardsuit? A maintenance kit? An authentic ceremonial asari javelin? Oh, maybe some ship-mounted weaponry?"

Renala looks thoughtful as she studies the gun the volus returned with. "Does that come with a free ship?" she chuckles, her tone of course joking. "But yeah, I'll take the clips, the block," she answers his question, "the maintenance kit… and two grenades."

Excellent! He puts all the requested equipment on the counter quite quickly. Are you sure you don't want that javelin? He points at the elaborate weapon hanging on the wall to the right.

Renala snorts in amusement as she looks at the item pointed at. "What am I going to use that for anyway?" she says with a chuckle before returning her gaze at the volus. "I'm very sure I don't want that," she says followed by a glance towards the items she requested. "So I guess that'll be all, for now."

Bob activates his omni-tool and sends a payment request for the items.

Renala enables her omni-tool as she hears the beeping notification, the orange interface coming to life. She looks over the details, and hesitantly taps on the haptic interface to accept, transferring the amount of credits requested.

Pleasure doing... breath ...business with you. If you ever need anything else, come to Crazy Bob's Armory!

Renala | "Sure," Renala says with a small smile. "Thanks for your patience." She picks up the grenades first, looking them over critically. "Excuse my outdated knowledge of weapons," she says, "but these have a safety mechanism, right?"

Of course, of course, you press the central button to prime them. The small switch toggles between the propelled and unpropelled modes.

Renala | "Thanks," Renala nods appreciatively as she carefully places each of them in their individual jacket pocket. "I'll see you again then." She grabs the ammo block's box and put it in her jacket's inner pocket. Then, she picks up the pistol and carries it in one hand, while her other hand carries the other two boxes. "Do you have a small bag of some sort I can put it in, instead?" she then asks.

Bob hands Renala a plastic bag. "Good luck with whatever you are... breath ...using the equipment for."

Renala smiles and moves the pieces of equipment into the plastic bag, putting the grenades in last. "Thank you," she says. "If my luck's good, I won't need any of this, though. Still, it's a reassurance to be ready for the case it won't."

Yes, have to be prepared for... breath ...eventualities...

Renala nods and picks up the plastic bag. "Yeah." She glances once more at the counter, now sure she hasn't forgotten anything. "I'll get going then. Take care."

Bob waves at Renala, and then returns to tinkering with the rifle on the workbench.

Renala turns around and walks out of the store, glancing a few times at some of the weapons on her way out.
