Victoria walks down into the Respite and straight to the bar ordering herself pepperoni pizza and a water.

Aylena is the currently working bartender this early evening. There aren't too many patrons around. She's in a black top and gray jeans, both rather close-fitting, but nothing too fashionable. "Coming right up," she says to her with a smile as she finds a glass and fills it with water and a couple cubes of ice. After placing the glass on the counter, she makes her way through the door to the back.
Ilyna descends the stairs from the second floor, looking around the area for any familiar faces. Spotting none, she makes her way over to the bar and takes a seat. Even if the bar was far from full, she had taken a seat beside a human woman (Victoria). Ilyna is wearing an almost black dress that does give an indication of shape, but don't really emphasize the contours.
Victoria looked at asari and gave her a smile "Hello there miss." She said taking another sip of her drink.
Ilyna looks towards her with a tilted head, narrowing her eyes for a moment as she failed to recognize her. "I'm sorry," she says as her expression softens. "Have we met?"
Ilyna returns the smile. "Oh," she says, hesitantly taking her hand. "And I'm Ilyna. It's nice to meet you."
Aylena returns through the door, though empty-handed as one can't really expect a pizza this soon. She approaches the most recent patron, Ilyna, and stops just across the counter for her. "Can I get you anything?" She glances towards Victoria. "Your order's underway, Miss Steels."
Ilyna nods. "A glass of Serrice Ice, please," she says before turning towards her. "What did you order, if I may ask?"
Aylena smiles, nodding. "Be right back," she says before making her way along the back wall, looking for the bottle.
Ilyna tilts her head. "That's... a round bread with sauce... cheese and other things, right?" she says. "I don't think I've ever had that myself, but dad said it's quite popular where she works."
Victoria put an eyebrow at the mention of her dad being a she "Yeah that is basically pizza." She answered the asari question "How is your father a she?" Came straight after she answered.
Ilyna chuckles, then a sheepish smile crosses her lips. "Oh, I'm sorry, I just find it slightly amusing," she says. "She's... an asari."
"Oh, well human culture in human culture if two women had a child they both would be considered the mother."
Aylena returns to the counter, pouring a glass of the deep blue liquid, chuckling a little at their topic of discussion. "Here," she places the glass on the table. Deciding not to involve herself in the discussion, she makes her way down the bar to serve another patron.
Ilyna smiles. "Human culture, yes," she says with a nod. "For asari though, it depends on who gave birth, since... I'm sure you know how that all works. Roughly, at least."
"Ah, well okay. So say if a human female was to mate and have a kid with an asari, the human would be considered the father?"
Ilyna nods. "Yeah," she says. "By your partner and the kid, at least." She takes a sip of her drink.
Victoria nods understandly "Okay, welp there is my learning something new for the day." She said with a light laugh.
Ilyna chuckles. "I'm happy to help," she says. "So... what do you do around here, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Oh, I just work for this Redrock Agency thing. My passion is learning more about asari. Your race is so elegant." She said while sipping her water.
Ilyna is quiet for a few seconds before tilting her head. "A recent passion, then?" she asks before a smile crosses her lips. "Oh, Redrock? I've worked with Jason before, and we're good friends, and I take it he's a good leder too?"
"He is alright, not the greatest. But still, alright." She took another drained what was left of her water. She then put a hand on Ilyna's knee "More like a life long passion." She said looking straight at her.
Ilyna looks a little purple around the cheeks at the touch, smiling sheepishly. "He's a good man, so I'm sure he's better than that?" she decides to stay on topic.
Victoria hand still remain on her knee "Can't tell him, he is a good leader. I don't want to over feed his ego, can't have him thinking he is the best."
Ilyna raises her brows, then nods. "Oh... I suppose you have a point there," she says, "though I'm sure he can take compliments responsibly."
"With a body like yours, I am sure you are use to getting compliments everywhere you go." She said with a smile.
Ilyna frowns, looking away for a moment while blushing intensely. "Oh," she begins. "I... don't really stand out on Thessia, which I'm fine with."
Ilyna | "Thank you," she simply says, before giving her a slightly apologetic look. "Hey... I'm not going to stay here on Aite for long. Please... don't." She feels a little uneasy.
Ilyna chuckles. "Would... a hug suffice?" she says with a sip of her drink, then places the glass on the counter.
Ilyna just stares at her for four seconds with mouth agape, before catching herself doing just that. She looks a little embarrased "No," she says. "Just... a hug."
Victoria goes to give Ilyna a hug "Oh... you can't complain about a human trying to get a beautiful asari."
Ilyna wraps her arms around the human woman, giving her a tight hug though she's a little tense. "Please," she mutters, not sounding too happy about the steady stream of compliments.
Ilyna smiles. "Thank you," she says as she lets go of the hug. "I'm sure you'll... find someone." Ilyna reaches towards her drink.
Ilyna can't help but chuckle. "No, don't do that," she says. "That'll... just make me feel bad." She didn't sound too serious, either, so it's possible she played along with the joke. Ilyna picked up her drink and took a sip.
Aylena walks over to where the two are. "Let me check," she says before heading through the door to the back.
"I would normally say 30 ro 40 minutes. That would be my rough guess for any place that prepares all types of food.."
Ilyna nods. "Oh, that long?" she says. "I've heard of resturants opening in Armali for that kind of food, but as I said, I haven't had it myself."
"Well it all depends really. You could be the first person to order it and the only one to order food and it should be ready much earlier." She explains.
Aylena emerges from the doorway, a plate with a pepperoni pizza on it. She walks over to the counter and places it infront of Victoria. "Here you go," she says, "I hope you enjoy. If you'd like a box for it, just tell me."
Ilyna glances at the meal with some curiosity. "It does look good," she says, "so I'm sure it was well worth the wait."
Ilyna looks a little thoughtful. "No, thank you," she says. "I just ate before going down here." She picks up her drink and takes a sip of it.
Victoria shrugs and takes a slice for herself "Well next time you are here then. I shall bless you with this grand human food."
Ilyna grins amused. "I hope it's before I leave Aite, then," she says, "though I really doubt I'll be leaving for good." Her omni-tool interrupts her with a repeated notification, and she glances at the output on her screen with a isgh. "I'm sorry, but I've got to get back to my room."
