Renala descends the staircase from the second floor, looking around to see if anyone she knew was there. Seeing none, she makes her way across and takes a seat at the bar, ordering a drink from Aylena who's currently tending the bar. She's dressed in a blue top with a halfway zipped up leather jacket over it, and non-descript dark-gray pants.

Barry , like always, has just finished work and steps into the pub for a drink. He walks up to the bar and waves at Aylena. "Usual, please!" He says, before sitting down, his tool-belt clanking slightly. He lets out a deep sigh, finally relaxing.
Aylena is just finished serving Renala's when the new arrival makes his order and she makes her way over to the beer tap, picking out a clean glass. "Three glasses of it, right?"
Aylena starts pouring the glass. "I'm not being forgetful, but you know, someday you might want just one, ...or five," she says with a chuckle. She places the glass on the counter before him before getting to the other two.
Barry laughs and grabs the glass in his large hand. "Yeah... nah, I heavily doubt that." He says before taking a hearty swig. "I'll just have to order more after if I want five."
Aylena nods. "I'll keep that in mind, then," she says, "but be sure to tell me if you're just feeling like one." She finished pouring the other two and places them before him before making her way over to another that's waving at her.
Renala reads a message on her omni-tool before putting it away, picking up her beer glass. She glances around idly before sipping it.
Barry sips his beer and smiles, looking at the three infront of him. "Hello, lads. Remember me?" He chuckles and looks over at Renala. "Evening." He says, curlty and with a subtle nod.
Renala looks towards him with a raised eyebrow, not sure who he was talking to. "Evening," she responds in kind, even despite the chance it wasn't directed at her.
Renala shrugs. "Good enough," she says. "Work's slow, not sure if that's good or bad." She takes a swig of her beer. "Have I met you before?" Renala asks, sounding a little curious.
Barry shakes his head. "Nope, don't hink so." He says, going back to his pint. "Having trouble at work?"
Renala frowns. "I won't blame him, none of us really returned the same from that last job." She places a hand on her forehead. "Merc jobs sure were simpler when I was a maiden. Steal some data, kill some asshole that pissed of a rich guy... that sort of stuff."
Barry raises an eyebrow. "So you're a merc?" He asks. "Sounds interesting. Full of adrenaline, excitement, explosions, stuff like that." He grins and sips his drink. "Certainly don't get that in my line of work. In fact, we like to avoid the explosion part."
Renala nods. "I would prefer getting the easy security details, but we all can't have what we want, right?" she says. "I handle the tech, so I'm more useful in the field than wander around some property at night."
Renala can't help but laugh. "If only," she says. "Nah, nothing as cool. I only support the others. Getting locked doors open, and grabbing data from terminals when the job asks for it."
Barry smirks. "Sounds pretty secret agenty to me." The human takes a big swig from his drink. "Much more exciting than my work, I'll admit."
Barry smiles and nods at his toolbelt. "I'm a mining rig engineer. Hard work, but good work." He explains. "I actually really enjoy it."
Mining work, huh? I remember trying to find a job at Hnipinn, but they don't handle their own tech work
Barry sighs. "I'm not with Hnipinn." He says. "I'm with Atlas Drilling. Everyone seems to think Hnipinn's the only mining company out here..."
Renala is about to respond when her omni-tool interrupts her, and she mutes it. "Sorry, haven't really looked for that kind of work. After my last few merc jobs, I think I'll be staying as far away from any sort of mine." She stands up and downs the remainder of her glass. "I've got to get going," she says. "It was good to meet you...," she trails off, just now realizing they haven't exchanged names.
Barry nods and offers a hand, this time without the glove. "Barry Stanforth." He says. "Or Baz, Bazza, or Sabretooth, as my friends call me." He smiles.
