Va'ynna is currently tending the bar, taking some of the evening shift; although Aylena is soon to take over for the night. She's in her dark-greren modest enough dress like earlier today. The asari is currently pouring a beer for a human patron.

Damien walks into the bar, surprisingly in his casuals for once. Consisting of a brown leather jacket, torn jeans and combat boots, he still looks ready for combat. He trudges over to the counter and perches himself on a stool, waiting patiently to be served.
Va'ynna finishes serving the beer and makes her way over to the somewhat familiar man; although she wasn't entirely sure. "Hi," she says with a small smile. "Can I get you anything?"
Damien smiles at her, dipping his head in greeting. "Hey, Va'ynna," he says. "I'll have a beer. Surprise me with what brand."
Va'ynna smiles. "I... thought I recognized you," she says as she makes her way over to the taps, pouring a rather light beer into a clean pint-glass before returning to him and handing him the glass. "How are you?"
Damien takes the glass and hands over the payment, the smile still plastered on his face. "My face is hard to forget," he chuckled, taking a small sip from the glass. "I'm good, thanks for asking. How're you doing? Busy day?"
Va'ynna looks thoughtful for a moment.. "Yeah," she says. "Well, it's a quiet evening, but... I've been down here all day."
That sucks. Still, almost over I'm guessing? Then you're free to do... um... what exactly do you do in your free time?
Va'ynna nods. "D'Inea... will take over for me, soon," she says. "Then I'll have the rest of the evening off. I've... just bought Nekyia Corridor and," she fidgets a little, "I'm hoping to start watching it today."
It got a lot of press attention... recently. I, um, don't really know much about it, but it's... been a while since I watched a good simulsim.
Right, right. Haven't really been paying much attention to the extranet and all that jazz. Good enough way to relax after a day of work, I suppose.
Va'ynna | "Mhm," she begins. "I've heard... it's very good, and it's... broken galaxy-wide records." She glances around to make sure noone is waiting for her before continuing, fidgeting a little. "I hope I get more... free time, though. Miss D'Inea has been busy lately."
Damien nods lightly, picking up his glass and sipping from it. "Understaffed?" he asked, setting the glass down once more and folding his arms on the counter.
Va'ynna looks a little unsure about how she should respond, then nods slightly. "Yeah," she sighs. "And D'Inea has had more... paperwork recently." She picks out a glass a pours some water for herself.
Damien nods lightly, falling silent for a moment. He looks back to her and lightly shrugs as he speaks. "Well, I could give a hand in my spare time? Which I seem to have a lot of."
Kalev enters the inn wearing nondescript clothing. His facial expression is dour with a tinge of grimness about it. He looks around the in before spotting the asari bartender. He walks over and nods to the asari, not wanting to interfere in the ongoing conversation but wanting to get business out of the way.
Va'ynna tilts her head, although a small smile creeps up. "Um, I.... thank you, but... that's... not up to me." She fidgets a bit. Upon seeing the other patron take a seat, she steps towards him. "Is there anything I can get you?"
Kalev 's voice is pretty rough - he spent his youth constantly working in a mine where basic safety equipment was completely absent, much less respirators. "Any chance you have any rooms available?" He sits back, doing his best to look friendly. It doesn't exactly work. It's not that he seems at all threatening, he just seems rather aloof and grim.
Va'ynna looks a little nervous for a moment before she regains composure. He might not be too indimidating -- at least he's not in combat gear --, but Va'ynna is Va'ynna. "Um... yeah, we do," she says after a glance at the nearest terminal. "How... many nights would you like to stay?"
Kalev spreads his hands slightly. "Let's go with three days, for now." He spots Damien watching him and gives the fellow human a cautious nod. He's slightly dissapointed that he appears to make the asari nervous, but doesn't let it show, figuring it was his fault.
Va'ynna nods, typing on the terminal. "That'll be... six hundred credits," she announces the price as she looks back at him.
Kalev nods slightly before getting his credit chit out. He hadn't picked the spot at random, so he had come in with a fair idea of the price and conditions. He hands his chit to Va'ynna.
Va'ynna carefully reach out a hand and takes the credit chit, checking it. "Would you like to... uh, order something to drink?" she asks before charging the sum, and sending the details like which room and the temporary digital key to get it open to his omni-tool.
Va'ynna nods and charges the credit chit for it before putting it back on the counter. She walks over to the beer taps, and pours the same light-colored beer she got for Damien, before returning with the pint-glass and putting it on the counter before Kalev.
Kalev shrugs slightly. "Perhaps." He takes a gulp of beer before giving an appreciative nod. "Business troubles, I suppose."
Business troubles usually don't make a man look around the bar like someones going to shoot him... Unless, that's exactly what you've managed to bring on yourself.
Kalev shakes his head slightly. "No, not really." He shrugs slightly at Damien. "I was born in a small settlement where the going theory was that in bigger cities there were murderers lurking in every alley. In hindsight, it was probably a rumor circulated by the local mining company to keep us from leaving."
Damien grunts, finishing off his beer and placing the glass down. "Pal, I doubt someone is going to try and randomly murder you. 'Cept Va'ynna here. Real deadly warrior she is." He looks at her and winks, clearly joking. He reaches into his pocket and sets down a few extra credits for her.
Va'ynna brings up a hand to cover her mouth as a giggle escape her, looking a little uncomfortable about the joke. She doesn't say anything, though.
Damien stands up and nods at the pair. He looks to Va'ynna a moment and smiles. "Enjoy your evening." He dips his head and turns to leave.
Va'ynna nods. "See you... again," she says before turning back to the other man; after a check to make sure none are waiting for service. "So... um," she begins her attempt to make conversation, "what sort of work... do you do?" She raises her brows before quickly adding, "if I can ask."
"I own a small mining company. That's why I'm here, actually. Need a place to stay while I try to find a reliable buyer for iridium ore." He smiles very, very slightly. "I don't suppose you know anyone, do you?"
Va'ynna hums thoughtfully. "Um... no, I don't think so," she says. "I know of Hnipinn Minerals, but I don't know... if they're what you're looking for."
Kalev nods. "I'll look them up." He yawns slightly. "Think I'm going to go check out my room and take a nap. It was nice talking to you."
