Victoria smiles at Va`ynna ''I might have a little sixth sense, that told me it was a smarter idea to get chocolates then.'' She said in a clear joking manner.

Va'ynna picks out a piece of chocolate, far from sure what it is, and studies it intently. "I... don't know if I should eat," she murmurs. "It looks... tasty, though." She takes a tiny bite of it, taking her time tasting it.

"Almost every human, I know loves chocolate. So I am sure you will enjoy it." Looked at the piece that the asari tasted "I believe that one is a caramel centre one. But then again I might be wrong."

Va'ynna looks a little thoughtful. "I... don't know, but it's good," she says. "Maybe... a little too sweet." Despite that, she takes another bite of it.

''Well yeah, it is a treat. We don't eat this all the time, I am almost certain if we did humans would be rolling everywhere.'' She said the last part in a joking manner with a smile.

Va'ynna smiles faintly. "I know, it's... um, not like the concept of treats is alien to me," she says. "I... just can't afford very much of it."

''Well next time you want a treat, give me a howl. I can get some for you.'' She offered the asari ''I mean, all I spend my credits on is booze and food.''

Va'ynna tilts her head. "I thought you were staying at Miner's Respite," she says. "It's... not really cheap. Um, for long stays, I mean." She eats the remainder of the piece of chocolate, but does not reach for another.

Victoria smacked a hand against her own head ''Now how on Earth did I forget that.'' She might have seemed a bit dramatic for forgetting something like that. ''I swear, I would forget almost anything if I did not have people reminding me.''

Va'ynna giggles a little bit. "Hmm, even how to do your job?" she asks in a slightly joking tone.

''Thankfully not. If I did I would not be standing... I mean sitting here right now.'' She said in a half joking and half prideful tone.

Va'ynna nods. "And... maybe not me, either," she says as her smile fades and she turns her head to stare at an arbitrary point in front of her. "I... Thank you."

Victoria grabs Va`ynna hand ''I look after those I care about, Va`ynna.'' A comforting smile appears on her face as she tries to comfort the asari.

Va'ynna takes a deep breath. "I... know," she mutters. "It... just... I... it makes me... I don't know. I... fee..." She pauses, before trying again: "I feel like I... um, I don't deserve it." Her gaze is still fixed on that point in front of her.

Victoria looked at the asari ''If anyone in this room does not deserve anything, it is me.'' She is still holding onto the asari

's hand ''Va`ynna you do deserve it.'' She said trying to convince the asari.

Va'ynna looks a little thoughtful. "But... I don't," she murmurs, "not how I... keep pushing you away. It... just feels wrong."

Victoria shrugs ''I am kind of like a lost puppy. You keep pushing me away and I keep on following you.'' She said in a joking manner and with a smile on his face.

Va'ynna frowns. "I... don't like doing that," she says. "It makes me feel bad... like I'm taking advantage of you."

''Then I'm sorry I am an idiot who keeps on trying.'' She said to the asari ''If I keep on doing this Va`ynna, then you are not taking advantage of me. It is me trying to be a friend. If you don't want to go any further then that, that is still fine in my books cause I would still be on your good side.''

Va'ynna smiles faintly. "You're... too kind to me," she says, starting to tear up. "I don't know what I would have done without you... and Jason."

Victoria gives the asari a hug ''You are kind to everyone, you need to be given some kindness in return.'' She waited until enough time has pass to let go of the hug ''I am sure you would get along without me or him around.''

Va'ynna returns the hug, but does not let go of it. "I don't know," she says. "And... I don't have... to find out."

''Well, guess we are both lucky then.'' She would have moved awayed but the asari did not let go, so she did not move.

Va'ynna looks a little thoughtful for a few seconds before she slowly lets go of her. "Mhm," she says. "I... I suppose we are."

Victoria moves away when the asari lets go ''I don't believe you would have met a former pirate, if not for me.'' She said with a cheeky grin.

I keep forgetting.

Va'ynna smiles sheepishly. "You're... too nice for... um, that... line of work."

Victoria shakes her head ''Now I am too nice for that type of work.'' She looks away for a second ''How about I go get you some breakfast?''

Va'ynna nods. "Could you, please?" she says. "I... I'm grateful for the chocolate, but... it's not really breakfast."

Victoria nods ''That I can do.'' She stood up and headed to the door ''Anything you really want?''

Va'ynna appears thoughtful for a moment. "Not really," she says. "Whatever... is closest, and... um, is breakfast."
