#Vicky'sRoom – May 15, 2015

Va'ynna tilts her head while Victoria moves around and looks down at her, and she gently picks out a bundle of hair and traces its length loosely with a finger. "Was it... difficult to do?" she asks. "With... so many of them, I mean."

"It would be difficult if I went with one strand of hair at a time." She said in a rather joking tone. "It is rather simple really, get scissors then cut it too the length you want it."

Va'ynna hums thoughtfully. "What if... you cut some of them too short?"

"I can wait for a bit and it grows back. Simple human things."

Va'ynna nods. "It... doesn't look easy to maintain," she says. "How fast... does it grow?" She moves her free hand to take one of Victoria's hands.

Victoria shrugs and takes a hold of Va'ynna's hand "I find it rather easy. I let it grow out and then cut it when I get sick of it. Not like I have a defuse a bomb." She joked with the last bit.

Va'ynna can't help but giggle and carefully lifts up a bundle of hair. "Both... involve cutting the right... wires, doesn't it?" she jokes.

Victoria giggles back "Could be why my hair is red. I cut the wrong wire one time and now it is flaming." She jokes.

Va'ynna smiles. "Makes... sense," she says. She let's go of the hair-bundle and places that hand flat on her hair awkwardly. "I... um... I love you," she murmurs, looking a little embarrased.

Victoria smiles and places her free hand on the side of Va'ynna's face "I love you too, Va'ynna." She said in a caring and loving tone.

Va'ynna closes her eyes, blushing a little. "I... know," she says. "You never... gave up, and... for most of a year I've... turned you down. I'm... sorry."

Victoria keeps her hand on the asari's face "We humans never give up easily. I just wanted to give us a chance, because you are perfect in my eyes." She admitted to Va'ynna.

Va'ynna blushes fiercly. "I.... Thank you," she says. "I... could share... my side of it, but... I don't know how to teach focus."

"If you wish to share your side of it. Then do so, my sweet." She said to the asari.

Va'ynna tilts her head. "Have you... melded before?" she asks. "I... have never... done it with anyone that's... not an asari."

Victoria nods "Alya melded with me once. It was strange but wonderous." She said to Va'ynna.

Va'ynna nods slightly. "Oh," she says, and moves her hand under her head until two fingers are on the back of the other woman's neck. "Do... you remember how to focus?" She follows up with whispering, "Relax."

"Not really, but I'll just focus on you." She admitted, it was quite sometime ago when she melded.

Va'ynna keeps her eyes closed. "Try breathe slowly," she whispers.

Victoria does not say a word and follows Va'ynna's instructions.

Va'ynna takes a deep breath, and her eyes shoot open, and they're nearly pitch black. "Embrace eternity," she says, a phrase that many would recognize.

Victoria watches the asari as she opens her eyes, she believes that she is focused enough for the meld to work.

Va'ynna | It doesn't take long for the world to fade out around them. The first they see is merely blackness, but their connection is tangible. The asari makes no effort to hide her feelings; she seems nervous and worried, but also happy. Insecurity is also present; what to do next. Translators wouldn't work here, but they don't need to.

Victoria upon feeling Va'ynna emotions, Vicky made no attempt at hiding hers. She felt mostly happy and safe, but due to this relatively new experience she felt excited to be trying something that she had yet to truly experience like this.

Va'ynna calms down and returns the feeling of excitement although with some insecurity and doubt mixed in. She proceeds by showing an intention to share a memory. The next thing that comes up is a vision of the bar downstairs. There is a glass of water on the counter before her, and Aylena can be seen serving another patron barely out of her sight - the specifics of that patron has been lost. A strong fear can also be felt. She has glanced at the exit more than once, but she doesn't want to be alone with her thoughts either. That's why she's sitting there alone instead of in her room. It should be clear this was when they met for the first time (outside work). Some choice moment of her meeting Victoria for the first time follows, though the words have been lost except the second-guessing of many started sentences. She seems slightly amused about how it started now that she looks back at it. The hug stands out, and the fact that the asari was almost frozen with indecision. Why was she so kind to me? What does she want? As the memory fades away, Va'ynna reveals that deep down, she suspected it was interest in her for more than mere friendship.

Victoria smiled at the memory that Va'ynna was showing her, she decided that she would try share a memory that still hits her. She tried to show her the time she was shot and what she truly felt, the fear of losing her and the anger. +Please don't take her. Take anyone but her.+ The thought that was ran through her thoughts at that time.

Va'ynna seems a little conflicted about the choice of memory, but decides to share her side of that story. Aylena is arguing with a customer after removing something from one of the terminals. She then enables her omni-tool and starts typing, and the next moment she is thrown away. Va'ynna is frozen by fear, unsure what to do. The memory skips forward to when she is shot; the pain, and the intense fear for her life. Was this the end? She can hear the shouting and shooting around her, but she can't focus very well to discern what is going on. The next thing she remembers is Victoria and she clings to her for dear life, still very afraid.

Victoria decides to relive a more happier memory now, no longer wanting to make her relive that pain. She decides to share what she felt when they agreed to be together. She shared some of the moments from that night but mainly the feelings she felt. Joy, happiness, successful and most importantly love, +I finally have the person I love.+ The main thought she had during that night.

Va'ynna focuses on the conflict in her mind at first, and the voice of reason telling her to be careful. The memory of her delayed release of the hug at the hospital flashes by, and the asari reveals she had a very similar conflict in her mind. She also remembers being very tired from lost sleep the nights before, but... the worry was now gone. The people she cared for was back. So she told the voice of reason off and admitted she returned Victoria's feelings. The memory skips a few minutes ahead. She felt happy and safe in the other woman's arms as she lie in bed that night, trusting Victoria to let her go through this new experience at her own pace, and keep her safe and comfoted.

Victoria hugged the asari, Vicky truly felt loved when she saw Va'ynna side of the memories. She felt like this have been the first time she has ever truly been loved by someone.

Va'ynna lets the memories and emotions fade, and soon the real world appears around them. She blinks, and her eyes returns to normal. "Thank... you," she murmurs.

Victoria looked at the asari with tears in her eyes and smiled "Thank you for being with me Va'ynna."

Va'ynna shifts a bit if necessary and leans in for a kiss. "And you... for being so patient with me," she says, "because I... have tested it more than I should."

Victoria kisses the asari "I love you." The tears still in her eyes and smile still on her face.

Va'ynna moves a hand up to wipe the tears not too close to her eyes, then cups her face. "I love you too," she says followed by another kiss.

Victoria wipes the tears away after the second kiss and she simply smiles at the asari.

Va'ynna slowly lets go of the other woman. "I... should... get back to work," she says, "even if... I would rather..." She bites her lips, and shakes her head. Her cheeks turn a deeper purple for a moment. "I should get back to work," she repeats, sounding a bit embarrased.

Victoria sits up next to Va'ynna and gives her a kiss on the cheek. "Might be an idea. Will you be back here after your shift?"

Va'ynna nods. "Of... course," she says with a smile and kisses her on the cheek in turn. "Why would I... not want to fall asleep in... your arms?"

Victoria gave the asari a quick hug "You are too good for me." She says with an honest tone.

Va'ynna returns the hug before she stands up. "No, I'm... not," she says. "You've... always been wonderful to me, even... when I didn't deserve it."

"I truly do love you, Va'ynna my sweet."

Va'ynna nods. "I believe you," she says with a smile. "I'll... see you tonight." She starts walking towards the door.

"See you tonight, my sweet." She returns the smile. She remained on the couch.

Va'ynna doesn't say another word before she exits the room and closes the door behind her.
