#Miner'sRespite – May 23, 2015
Va'ynna is sitting at a booth near the bar downstairs, looking at the exit. It's still rather early in the morning, but Va'ynna was quick about getting the delivery content to its right place. She's in her green dress. There's a glass of water on the table before her.
Victoria walked down the stairs into the Respite, she was wearing black t-shirt and blue pants. She walked near the bar and started to look around the place, she spots Va'ynna and walks over to her ''Hey sweetie.''
Va'ynna looks up at Victoria. "Hey," she says with a tiny smile. "I... hope I didn't wake you up when I went to work."
Victoria takes a seat across from Va'ynna ''Don't worry about it. It does not hurt to wake up early once in a blue moon.''
Va'ynna frowns. "I. wouldn't complain if suppliers didn't deliver this early," she says. "And D'Inea always... assign me to sort it and verify that everything was delivered."
"I thought it would have been smarter to deliver during the middle of the day." She told the asari her opinion on the matter.
The mornings... are best, because there are fewer... people around and I can focus on it. I still... don't like taking them, though.
"Well, I can help you out if you want. I am sure I can makie it slightly more fun." She said with a grin.
Va'ynna looks away, stifling a giggle which while successful is evident in her expression. "I... am sure of that, too," she says, "but... I don't think D'Inea would let you be out in the back."
Va'ynna smiles slightly. "Uhm, there are cameras," she says, "but she... may not see you now since I... haven't seen her at all today."
"She call in sick?" She asked wondering why the owner was not here. "Guess that means I can help you unpack."
Va'ynna shakes her head. "She... didn't even respond to my message," she says. "And I've... already unpacked it enough so that nothing is stored in... the wrong temperature room."
"She normally does this or is this unexpected?" She stopped again "So I guess you might need some help today?"
Va'ynna shakes her head, again. "Unexpected," she says, "but... she could just be oversleeping. I never got to work late, either, before... us."
Va'ynna hums thoughtfully. "That... would be nice," she says. "If something is... wrong, I would feel much safer with you around."
Va'ynna frowns. "That's... Briggs' job," she says. "I'm not sure if... he's in his office, though I... I'm not in a hurry to check."
"Ew Briggs, I rather not check that either." She taps on the table for a few seconds "We could probably get some to check on D'Inea's place if it seems like something has happened."
The doors to her... apartment are locked. Which... is usual when she's working at the bar or... while she's not at work.
Va'ynna nods. "Mhm, if she's... lived as long as she has, she probably know a thing or two about... staying safe," she says before slipping under the table and moving over to take the seat just beside the other woman; not without hitting her head against the table once though. "Much... better."
Victoria raises an eyebrow when the asari slips under the table ''What are yo....'' she stops as Va'ynna takes a seat next to her. ''You know there are easier and less confusing ways to take.'' She said with a smile.
Va'ynna giggles. "Yeah... there are," she says while leaning on her. "Maybe I... um, just wanted to confuse you."
"Well, to be honest I thought you were gonna do something else and I was gonna sit here frozen." She swings an arm around the asari "I think you have forgotten your water, my sweet."
Va'ynna raises an eyebrow. "Something else?" she asks, smile still present. She leans forward and grabs her glass and places it on the table in front of her.
Victoria shakes her head ''Don't worry about it, just me being me.'' She admitted with the smile still on her face. She gives the asari a quick peck on the top of her head.
Va'ynna can't help but giggle. "I would never do anything like that here," she says. "Why would you even think that?" While her voice is lowered, she does sound quite amused.
"Everyone has their fantasy, my sweet. I mean you could have felt adventerous." She was saying in a teasing tone and a smirk.
Va'ynna kisses her on the cheek before resting her head on her shoulder. "Maybe that's what you were... hoping for," she teases her right back.
"Oooooh, someone is learning how to tease me. Don't tease me too much, I might not be able to contain myself." She said in a joking and teasing tone.
Va'ynna smirks for a moment. "I'll... keep that in mind," she says. "I wouldn't want you... losing control."
"Well, I let you get back to it. I also got to find something in town." She gave the asari another peck on the head "Unless you want to handcuff me here, so I can't leave.."
Va'ynna raises her eyebrows. "That... another thing you're hoping for?" she asks with an amused smile before getting out of the booth to let her out. "Are you going to leave me here with... Briggs and the turian I hardly know?"
"Of course not, just gonna pick up a few things. Then I'll be straight back here. Alright?" She said with a smile as she exited the booth.
