#Miner'sRespite – June 5, 2015
Va'ynna is still sitting at the booth she previously shared with Victoria. She's reading something on her omni-tool.
Victoria walked back into the Respite, carrying a bag which contents could not be seen. She notices Va'ynna at the booth they shared earlier and approached her. "Hey there good looking." She said with a grin."
Va'ynna looks up at her, and pats the seat beside her. Her cheeks are a little bit purpler for a moment. "Hey," she says. "What... did you pick up?"
Victoria takes a seat next to Va'ynna "Just a little surprise. Nothing to important." She wraps an arm around her shoulders and smiles.
Va'ynna winds an arm over her shoulders in turn, and tilts her head. "Hm?" she begins. "For... who?"
Va'ynna shuts off her omni-tool. "I... I have just been sitting here," she says. "My mother sent me a message.... The car she was renting was... stolen this morning." She sighs, and looks at the table. "This day is... not starting out all that... well."
"Well, we have each other. I think that instantly improves our days." She said in a cocky tone and a smile to add.
Victoria smiles at the asari and kisses her on the cheek back. "So let me guess, you have not been that busy today?"
Va'ynna nods. "You... guessed right," she says. "I... don't have much free time, so I... rarely know what to do with it out here. And... I still wonder why D'Inea isn't here."
"Have you told anyone else about her no being here? Cause she would have told someone if she was not coming in right?"
Va'ynna nods. "Her... apartment is locked, as usual, so... I don't know how we can check on her if she's there," she says. "The alternative is... asking Briggs if there's footage of her leaving."
Va'ynna smiles slightly. "That's... why I feel safest here," she says. "It... would be bad if... Redrock wasn't around."
"Well, I would still be here. Just have a lot less credits. But I would be sitting outside your door like a lost varren."
Va'ynna can't help but giggle. "I... don't doubt that," she says. "I don't know if my... pay is enough for two, though."
Victoria used her free hand to stroke the asari's stomach "Naw, so you would not keep little ol' me around?" Vicky said in a teasing tone.
Va'ynna frowns. "I... would find another place to live... so that most of my wage won't be... the room."
"Well, you could move into my room or I can move into yours. I am sure that would make things easier for us."
Va'ynna smiles slightly. "That... would work," she says. "I have practically moved into your room already."
"Think we might need to wait sometime, don't think Redrock is in a good position to give much credits out." She pauses for a second "We could start saving up for a place."
Va'ynna | "Mhm," she hums. "As long as I'm staying here I'm paid... only twenty credits per day. I'd have to save up for... a really long time."
Victoria kisses Va'ynna on the cheek "We will work it out. I guess I should get my surprise to the room. Leave you in suspense."
Va'ynna returns a kiss before sitting back in the booth. "I... could sneak in later," she says followed by a giggle. "I'll... be down here in case... D'Inea comes back." She retracts her arm around Victoria.
"Well if you do sneak in later, I might have that surprise is ready." She said with a smile and moves out of the booth.
Va'ynna nods. "I'll... see you later, then," she says. "Whether it is in... half a minute or after work tonight, you'll... never know." She giggles.
