Ehanis raisesd an eyebrow. "You mean to say not even the bosses knew that?"

Sioria merely shrugs. "They knew we were going to be neck deep in shit, but what we ended up with had us six feet below the surface." she explains, ever so eloquently before taking a long sip on her drink. "I don't think anyone could have seen that coming." She shakes her head once more to loosen the images in her mind. "Lets, uh... move on from that. It wasn't... pleasant."

Ehanis nods. "O...kay," she says. "I'll just ask the boss, then." She downs the remainder of her beer and puts it on the counter. "Not that I think sis would ever let me do any of these jobs."

Sioria takes a deep breath and nods. "Yeah, that's for the best. The boss would have way more information on it than me." She downs the rest of her beer. "Anyway. I'm well, out of hospital, and healing up properly. That's what matters to me right now."

Ehanis smiles slightly. "That's what matters," she says and glances at her glass. "You wanna get another drink now, or should we wait until we don't stick out like sore thumbs if we have one too many?"

Sioria puts her bottle down and hums for a few seconds. "That... is a good question." she admits. "I guess we should slow down. Take it easy on the hooch until at least 3 o'clock. That's when humans like to drink, right?" she asks, raising an eye ridge.

Ehanis shrugs. "Fuck if I know," she says. "I haven't adjusted the clock since I moved here, I've just gone out when it starts to get dark or people want to share taxis."

Sioria chuckles and wraps an arm around Ehanis. "Well, what to you propose we do until a suitable time where we may get absolutely sloshed?" she asks with a cheeky smirk. "I've got nothing planned. Haven't got to report for another two days."

Ehanis hums. "I'm broke, kinda, so going out shopping could get expensive... for you." A giggle follows.

Sioria snorts and rolls her eyes. "And who says I'll be paying for you?" she asks with a cheeky smirk. "What's in it for me?"

Ehanis shrugs. "Let's not do that, then," she says. "I also has some stuff I should be doing, like cleaning the apartment my sister rented in town, so I could go do that and meet up with you later or something."

Sioria gives her an elbow. "I was kidding." she says with a light hearted chuckle. "I'll give you an allowance, but don't go overboard, alright?" she asks before standing up. "Unless you really would rather do clean-up duty."

Ehanis frowns. "Actually, I should get to that," she says, standing up as well. "Sis is going to kill me if she finds the place like she left it, and I have no idea when she's back." She pauses for a moment. "Maybe we can go to the range when they open."

Sioria smiles and gives Ehanis a happy nod. "Let me know when you're headed that way, and I'll meet you there." she says before giving her a hug. "In the mean time... gonna put my feet up and watch tv, I think."

Ehanis returns the hug. "I'll do that," she says. "See you there." She starts walking towards the exit, not stopping to pay for her drink.

Sioria smiles and watches Ehanis leave and gives a light sigh. "What a gal." she says, then pays for both their drinks. Then the thought hits her. Had Ehanis paid for her own lunch? Oh boy was she getting a reciept if she hadn't...

Sioria soon limps out of the bar after paying. Time to kick back and relax!
