Pip's shop is still rather quiet, due to it only just opening. As one would enter, the door directly facing the entrance is open and the sounds of tools working is heard. (Pip_Summers)

Jason is dressed in his usual attire, white t-shirt with one sleeve clasped shut, black fatigues, boots, and a Phalanx pistol in a shoulder holster. He examines the building for a few moments before stepping through the door and looking around for any sign of the owner.

Pip is nowhere to be seen. However, there is an intercom next to the garage door. Or, one could just stick their head through and see if she is the source of the noise. (Pip_Summers)

The waiting room is rather bare at the moment. A single table with three chairs is to the left as one enters. To the right is the reception desk with a single terminal and a catalogue terminal. A door leads to the garage opposite the entrance and there is another door behind the desk. (Pip_Summers)

Jason takes a quick glance around the room, inspecting the layout. After a few moments pass with nobody arriving to see to him, he sets off to chase the noise through the door.

Pip is hunched over a workbench once Jason enters, a welding mask covering her face and sparks beating against her red jumpsuit. On the workbench seems to be a scavenged YMIR arm which she is cutting apart with her omni tool. Behind her, Watty towers over her, watching her work with great interest.

Jason raises an eyebrow and casually strolls across the room, making no effort to announce his arrival so long as he's unnoticed as he glances about at the workshop. He's already been given the short version of the woman's relationship with the mech. Skythix had used the word 'befriended'. Seemed a bit absurd to him as the turian recounted the story, but sure, he's willing to bite.

Watty turns and sees the one armed man approaching. He gently taps Pip on the shoulder and points towards the approaching man, the blue lights on his face flickering. (Pip_Summers)

Pip stops her work and turns to look at the man, lifting the welding mask up to show her dirt covered face. She deactivates her tools and places the mask next to the mech arm, now giving the man her full attention. "Welcome," she says warmly. "What can I do for you?"

Jason sweeps his head back after inspecting the area off to his left and catches sight of the large mech staring at him. He gives a short wave as Pip turns to face him. "I'm not sure." he responds with a smile as he continues to look the place over, "Just start setting up here?"

Pip nods, sweeping her hand to the large, but empty garage. Apart from two vehicle lifts and a few workbenches, it is rather bare. "Yeah, only opened a day ago." She chuckles lightly, leaning against the workbench. "I figured a place like this could use a dedicated mechanic."

Jason gives a couple nods, continuing to examine the mostly empty room with a curious eye. "I own a bit of land just at the edge of town, myself." he says, cocking a thumb over his shoulder arbitrarily, probably not even in the right direction, "Freedom Falls isn't such a bad place to start up a business if you've got some marketable skills." He takes a few more steps towards the pair

and rests his eyes on the mech, giving it a nod, "Don't see one of these out here too often. At least, not unless you're somewhere you shouldn't be." he offers a smirk, "Kind of overkill for shop security, isn't it?"

Watty waves at Jason. "I am Watty," he states, tilting his head to the side. (Pip_Summers)

Jason mimics the mech's movements without even realizing it, waving with his remaining hand and tilting his head to the side.

Pip smirks. "I've had him since I was sixteen," she explains, patting the mech's arm. "He's never left my side. Besides, he'd rather avoid a fight if he can help it."

So, security? Not really. I'd keep him at home if I could, but my garage is too small for him.

Jason gives a chuckle and shoves a hand down into his pocket. After a little digging, he pulls out a card and pokes it towards the woman. It's bent around the edges and wrinkled up a bit, but the words 'Redrock Agency' are emblazoned across the top in a bold font. Just beneath it, in a slightly smaller font is the word 'Security' with the Redrock logo off to the left. It's rather basic.

In a much smaller print are the names 'Jason Wolfe' and 'Linda Vasquez' with contact info for each at the bottom. He watches the woman's reaction as he offers the card, "Well, if you ever do need a bit of security... Things tend to get a bit hectic out here at times." he gives his best stupid marketing pitch.

Pip takes the card and regards it for a moment. "Mmm... ah... I see." She turns it around in her hand, looking up at Jason still with a smile. "You a merc?" She asks evenly.

Jason gives a chuckle. "The phrase is 'PMC'." he corrects with a nod, "But yeah, that about sums it up. Suppose I should just cut to the reason I'm here. Not looking to waste your time or disrespect you by trying to work you the whole way." he says with a shrug, "Just-... you know... work you half-way." He offers a friendly smile and nods at the mech once more, "I've had a few of my

employees mention you. It's not everyday that they run into someone toting around an YMIR mech. Thought I'd come and check out the woman with the mechanized friend for myself."

Pip flicks the card onto the workbench and folds her arms, raising an eyebrow with a suspicious look. "Alright, well now you've seen him. Now what? You and your 'merc' buddies goin' to try and take him for yourselves?"

Watty rolls his shoulders and takes a single step to Jason, looking down at the man as he flexes his servos. (Pip_Summers)

Jason furrows his brow, his smile being replaced by a look of offense. "Wha-... no!" he insists, putting his hand up, palm outward. He glances back and forth rapidly between Watty and Pip, deciding he should probably just info dump on the woman immediately before his other arm is ripped off, "I just-... See, thing is-..." he sighs and holds up a finger, as if asking 'one moment please,

allow me to explain before smashing me to paste'. "I woul-... we wouldn't do that. I just saw an opportunity and thought I'd check it out. That's all. This isn't something I do. Recruiting?" he elaborates, "Usually our employees come to us. Fill out an application. We review. Yadda, yadda, yadda. But-..." he gives a shrug, looking towards Watty pointedly, "It's rare for someone to come

with their very own walking tank. Someone on my payroll told me she ran into you just out of town and you were pretty quick to draw a gun." Realizing this may come across as some sort of threat, he holds his finger back up and continues, "Which is whatever, but I figured if you're comfortable with a weapon, maybe that means-... you know. Some sort of combat experience?" he tilts his head

to the side as his smirk returns, hoping the woman gets the jist of what he's trying to say.

Pip blinks twice. "Wow, your sales pitch is fuckin' abysmal," she sighs, running a hand down her face. "And, for the record, that turian bitch had her gun out and pointed at me first. I drew mine in defence." She mutters to herself for a minute and turns back to the workbench, giving the card a another look from a different perspective. "So, Redrock want to

Pip recruit me then?" she asks, turning to look at Watty. "Or rather, him."

Watty looks between the two humans. He kneels down in front of Jason and stares at him, leaning forward slightly. "What can you offer us?" He asks. (Pip_Summers)

Jason gives a slight shrug. "Whatever your issue with her was, that's between you and her." he says before adding in something of a mutter, "She's new..." He follows Pip's gaze back over to Watty, "Like I said. This isn't something I do." he continues, making 'eye' contact with the kneeling mech, "I can offer you a paycheck. Maybe that's not something you need very much." he says with

an obvious glance around her workshop, "But it comes with the perk of being with an organization that functions as built-in insurance. Out here in the Terminus, giving people a reason not to fuck with you can be just about the most valuable thing you can get." He glances between the pair, "Besides-..." he sighs, "We look out for our own."

Pip walks over to Jason, folding her arms and leaning against Watty as she regards the man. "What're the figures you're offerin'? Because, believe it or not," she says, rapping her knuckles against Watty's armoured body. "He can be expensive to maintain. And, if you want him for combat, he'll be needin' some upgrades. I'm workin' on a gun for him now, but

Pip he'll need better shieldin'." She jabs a thumb at the mech arm on the workshop table. It seems to be missing the traditional weapon of a YMIR mech and is rather surrounded by older weapons from before the attack on the Citadel. Two avengers, a mantis sniper rifle and a semi-auto shotgun.

It's... harder to make than it looks...

Jason glances over at the workshop table with a slow nod. "Obviously any on-job damage he sustains would be covered by Redrock. Upgrades, modifications, stuff like that... So long as it benefits the company, we'll cover it as best as we can. We've got our own worksh-..." he pauses to correct himself with a tilt of his head, "Well, the building is undergoing repairs right now, but we'll

have our own fully stocked workshop again soon. We've got a dedicated engineer who could work along side you, maybe help you speed things up a bit. Nobody would step on your toes, though." He looks over the mech and gives a satisfied nod, "You and-... 'Watty'... are a pair. We wouldn't be taking him from you. I want to make that clear."

Pip-Summers rubs her chin in thought as she ponders the offer. Watty looks down at her and gently prods her for an answer. "Alright..." She says slowly. "You got yourself a deal, Wolfe. Just so you know, I used to be a thief before comin' to Aite. If you need somethin' hacked or somewhere broken into, I'm your girl. Obviously he can't sneak." She grins widely.

Jason raises an eyebrow at the mention of being a thief, but smirks at her joke. "Your past is your past. This is a fresh start." he says with a nod, "My information is on that card-..." his eyes dart towards the card on the workbench, "Send your own contact info my way and I'll send you a link to our extranet site. Obviously I'm coming to you so the job is yours, but I'd still like an

application for record purposes. A listing of combat experience and things along those lines will help us figure out how to best utilize you, Ms. Summers."

Pip-Summers nods. "Alright, I'll be formal then," she says with a sigh. "Applications. Pfft. Now go on, get." She starts to shoo Jason out of the garage with Watty watching curiously. "I've got a lot of work to do if you want him combat ready."

Jason 's smirk returns full-on as he takes a few steps backwards towards the door. "Of course." he says with a wave to the pair, "Be seeing you around, Watty." he offers before turning on his heels and heading off towards the exit.

Watty waves at Jason, tilting his head. "Bye!" he replies. (Pip-Summers)

Pip-Summers says her goodbyes as she closes the workshop door behind Jason, rolling her shoulders and heading back to the bench.

Jason shoves his hand back into his pocket once he's outside and glances back at the shop over his shoulder. "My life just gets weirder and weirder..." he repeats with a sigh and a shake of his head before starting back towards the Respite.

Renala is standing outside a three-story apartment block in the residential blocks west of the Respite. She sent Steve a message with the coordinates telling to meet her there. She's wearing the same clothes as when she left the Respite earlier this day. She is unarmed, but is likely wearing the biotic amplifier.

Steve arrives a short time later. He's still in his armor, sans helmet, with his weapons holstered on his thighs. He strolls up beside Renala, looking over the building. "This the place?" he asks, studying the structure.

The apartment block is at a corner. It has 3 large windows on each outer wall separated by the building bulging out about 4 feet between them. It's a bit wider in the north and south-facing walls. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Renala nods. "Yeah," she says, and turns towards the entrance. "The apartments looked small, but they're two-bedroom, and not far from your work."

Steve gives a nod. "Size isn't really an issue. After livin' in that cramped lil' room for so long, I'm sure it'll seem like a mansion." he assures her.

Renala chuckles. "And it's cheaper than staying at the Respite," she says. "The owner is waiting inside, on the second floor." She approaches the entrance, and the door unlocks.

Steve falls into step behind Renala. "Well, I stay at the Respite for free. Ain't nothin' cheaper than free." he says with a chuckle, "But there's definitely value in gettin' away from the workplace. Just cuz I'm on-call at all hours doesn't mean I should always feel like I'm workin'."

Renala nods before tapping on the interface. "I still have that stupid mech lying in the way," she says. "I was going to hand it over to the agency, but there's not much of a base to put it in right now."

The door opens to a corridor leading forward until going left and right. In the intersection, the elevator door can be seen, as well as a door leading to a staircase. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve remains behind Renala. "That thing is functional, right?" he asks, "Guessin' it'll function as a bit of security at the new buildin' when it's done?"

Steve gives a glance around the corridor, attempting to get an idea of how many apartments are on the lower floor.

Renala shrugs. "I think so," she says. "I haven't really tested if it can still shoot." She stops by the elevator door, and hits the button to call it down.

There are two doors marked toilet and office respectively to their left, and one apartment. There's also one down the corridor to the right before the corner. It looks like it would be possible to fit three of those on this side weren't it for the other rooms and the entrance on this wall. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve folds his arms across his chest and leans against the wall as he awaits the elevators arrival, glancing each way down the intersection to get a general layout of the area. Exits and such. "Probably somethin' you could test out by Redrock HQ, right? Set up a few targets or somethin'."

The only exit is where they came from. The corridors down both sides leads to a corner, making it seem the corridor go around the floor. (Renala_T`Iavay)

I think so. I just need to make sure it can aim and pull a trigger. If not, I guess I can use it to improve my tools for turning those things to our side like I intended when I bought the piece of scrap.

The elevator reaches their floor with a ding, and the doors open. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve sweeps his head back and forth down the corridors. He pushes away from the wall upon the elevator's arrival, "Could definitely be useful to be able to reprogram 'em on a whim if the situation calls for it." he agrees as he steps into the elevator. "Looks like just the one exit..." he says once inside, as though that's worth considering.

Renala steps into the elevator, as well, and hits the button to go to floor 2. "Huh?" she says. "Is that going to be a problem?"

The elevator door closes and it starts slowly going upwards. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve gives a slight shrug and retakes his previous posture, leaning against the inside wall of the elevator. "Maybe. Maybe not. Never know when you're gonna need to make a quick escape. Somethin' to consider, at any rate..." he says. It's obviously something he's given more thought to than he's letting on.

Renala chuckles, not taking it as seriously. "The apartment is on the second floor, and it has a window," she says. "Would that work in a pinch?"

Steve gives a chuckle as well, seeming to loosen up a bit, "It'll do fine..." he says, "Sorry... Just a habit."

The elevator reaches the second floor, where a salarian is waiting for them. He takes a step back. "Would prefer if you came unarmed," he says, looking at Steve. "Take it you're T'Iavay?" he asks, looking at the asari. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Renala nods. "That's me," she says.

Steve glances down at his weaponry and tilts his head to the side. He lets out a sigh and resists the urge to roll his eyes. "I work security down at the Miner's Respite." he offers as explanation, "Just on my lunch break. Sort of a requirement of the job to stay armed in case I'm needed."

The salarian sniffs, and then steps aside. "Just keep it holstered," he says. "The vacant apartment is twenty-eight. Middle door on the other side. It is open. I will be with you in a few minutes." (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve gives an appreciative wave towards the salarian and steps past him, heading in the indicated direction. "You got it, boss." he says.

Renala follows after Steve after nodding to the salarian.

The salarian walks into the elevator and the door closes behind him. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve glances back towards the elevator. "Uppity lil' shit, ain't he?" he mutters once the elevator doors close. He taps taps the interface to apartment 28 once he arrives in front of the door.

Renala chuckles. "Well, to be fair," she says, "coming here geared up for battle probably wasn't the best idea."

The door opens to reveal a sparsely furnished apartment, with wooden floor and white walls. There's a kitchen along the wall where they entered. There is a large window on the opposite wall, as well as a door near the corner to the right. The window has blinds, but they're drawn up. There are two doors spaced out equally on their right. The kitchen is minimally equipped, with a tall fridge with a freezer, cupboards, a stove and a sink, bu

-but it has quite a lot of counter space. There is no living room furniture or a screen. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve frowns and looks down. "I'm on the clock!" he says, "Wanted to get right over here. Couldn't exactly take the time to put on my nice shirt." He steps into the apartment and gives a nod of his head. "Not bad." he says, heading straight towards the window to peer out.

Renala enters and closes the door behind her. "What about leaving the guns?" she smirks. "It would be a bit of work getting settled in, but we won't need to get it all at once."

There is a parking lot below outside that separates it from the neighboring building, and the building bulging out to their right obstructs the view of the street quite a bit. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve places a hand against the wall beside the window. "Nope. With my luck, I'd leave the guns and then Twitch would buzz me back. Then what?" he asks, glancing back over his shoulder towards Renala, "I run back and ask whoever's causin' trouble to just wait a few moments while I go get somethin' to shoot 'em with?"

Renala | "Maybe if you ask nicely enough," she says, then sighs. "Point taken. Our neighbors will have to get used to it, anyway."

Steve gives a nod. "No view of the street, so that's good." he adds. From the window, he starts back and opens the first door on what would now be his left.

The door operns to a bathroom. The sink is on the middle off the opposite wall with a mirror above it, and the toilet is to the right of it. A shower takes up most of the wall to the left. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Renala remains in the living room, looking in through the doorway.

Steve steps into the bathroom and takes a quick glance around. As nothing immediately stands out, he moves on to the next door, presumably one of the bedrooms. "Sink. Toilet. Shower. Everything in its place." he announces.

It is indeed a bedroom. There's a double bed against the opposite wall with wooden night tables on each side. In the corner to the right, there's a white cabinet. The floor is dark blue carpet and the walls are of gray color. The bed is basic with two thin duvets folded on top of it and two pillows, but they're not in case and cover. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve takes a quick stroll around the room, pulling open any drawers on the night tables and cabinets. "Bedroom is nice." he calls out, "What do you think of the place?"

Renala steps into the room, looking around. "I like it," she says. "The other bedroom has two single beds, but they can be pushed together."

The drawers are empty. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve steps out of the bedroom and pokes his head into the final room, holding onto the doorframe with one hand. "Along with, as you said, the proximity to the Respite..." he shrugs, "I think this is a good choice, to be honest."

The other bedroom looks similar to, and is equipped with the same furniture as the other save for the fact that the bed is split up. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Renala follows out into the living room. "The rent is four-thousand six-hundred," she says. "Even with the furniture costs, that's cheaper in the long run. Well, maybe not for you."

Steve gives a shrug and leans against one of the living room walls. "Maybe not, but like I said: it's worth it to get out of that place." He gives a nod, "I mean... Unless you have any objections, I think this might just be the first and last place we check."

Renala walks towards the window. "I picked this place out, so I'm definitely all for living here," she says, looking out. "Maybe we can get the paperwork taken care of today so that nobody snatches it up while we're off to get the chief."

Steve nods in agreement, "That sounds like a plan to me. Assumin' that snobby sonovabitch doesn't have any objections to us livin' here."

As if on cue, the door opens and the salarian comes into the room. He has a datapad bag hanging off of his shoulder. "What do you think?" he asks. "Any questions?" There is a turian male standing out in the hallway with a holstered pistol attached to his thigh. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve visibly tenses up at the sight of the turian. He passes a glance off at Renala and stands up a bit more straight. "Uhh... Yeah, it's good." he says, resting his eyes back on the salarian and attempting to disguise his concern, "Matter of fact, we were wondering what it would take to start signin' papers today?"

Renala frowns, and turns towards the salarian, but defers to Steve to do the talking.

The salarian nods, and walks over to the kitchen and puts the bag on the counter. "Definitely possible," he says. "What is your place of employment?" He opens the bag and takes out two datapads. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve glances into the hallway once more to see if the turian is still out there. Rather than following the salarian into the kitchen, he remains within sight of the front door. "Redrock Agency." he says, "Like I said. I work in security."

The turian is still standing there, looking into the room. The salarian nods, again, and fills in the agency's name into the datapad. He turns towards them, holding both of the pads. "I want both of you to sign this," he hands one of the pads to Steve. "And Linda Vasquez or Jason Wolfe to sign that they are responsible to pay your rent in the event you cannot or neglects to." He hands over the other datapad. (Renala_T`Iavay)

The contract is simple. The main point is that they want the rent ahead of the month it pays for and within ten days of the deadline, and that they are responsible for anyone they let through the front door. Also the standard stuff, like that they should ensure the place is maintained and that they're responsible for repairs after moving out. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve raises an eyebrow. "Is that a thing? Forcing an employer to pay our rent if we don't?" he asks, glancing over the datapad momentarily after collecting it, "Can't say I've ever heard of a deal like that, but whatever... Sure. Alright if I drop it off tomorrow? I've got a shift to finish up when I get back."

The salarian nods. "It is necessary out here," he says. "The alternative is paying 30 days' rent as a deposit. Could do that instead if you'd like." (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve gives a quick shake of his head. "This should be fine." he assures the salarian, casting another suspicious glance back towards the turian.

Renala walks over to Steve, skimming over the contract.

The turian chuckles. "I'm working security here," he says. "You won't have trouble with me as long as those guns stay in their holsters." (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve eases up a bit and gives the turian a nod. "No problem there." he assures him. He relaxes a bit and leans back against the wall, "Nice to know the building has its own security."

The salarian returns to the kitchen and closes the bag. "Return with the contracts by this time tomorrow," he says. "Will be in my office on the first floor, so call me there and I'll unlock the front door." (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve glances over at Renala with a smile. "Sounds good to me, Mr-..." he pauses awaiting the salarian's name.

The turian nods, but doesn't give a verbal response. (Renala_T`Iavay)

"Nalbyn," he says before picking up the bag, and turning towards the two. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve nods, "Mr. Nalbyn." he repeats, "Lookin' forward to it. How soon would we be able to move in?" he asks.

"When you return with the signed contracts," the salarian replies. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve tucks the datapad under his arm and extends a hand towards the salarian. "Great!" he says, "Then I guess we'll get outta your hair-..." he glances over at Renala, "Unless you had somethin' to ask, Ren?"

Renala shakes her head. "I'm fine," she says with a small smile.

The salarian takes his hand. "Good doing business with you," he says. "See you tomorrow." (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve gives the salarian's hand a shake and pulls his hand back. "Tomorrow." he agrees with a nod before turning towards the door and heading off. He glances into the bedroom once more as he passes the doorway and then exits back into the hall.

Renala follows him out into the hallway.

The turian nods to them as they exit and enters the room to look it over. The salarian also remains in the apartment. (Renala_T`Iavay)

Steve continues on towards the elevator, datapad still under his arm. "That went well." he says, glancing over at the asari, "I'll drop this off with Wolfe tonight and make sure he signs it."

Renala nods. "I'm free until the evening tomorrow," she says, "so I can drop the contracts off, so you don't have to waste your breaks on that."

Steve taps the elevator button to open the doors and gives a nod. "Works for me. Can start movin' things in as soon as we get back from this next job."

Renala enters the elevator after him. "I hope we get a more specific time soon," she says. "Maybe I can get my stuff moved over before going, and save a few hundred credits."

Steve taps the button to head back to the lower floor. "All he's told me is that he'll hold a briefing when he has a definite timeframe. Said it'd be soon, though. Think he's waitin' on that new cybernetic to come in."

He told me that it's 'this week'. I assume that means the next 3 days.

Steve raises an eyebrow. "So he's plannin' on gettin' a new arm grafted on and leave within 48 hours?" He sighs and shakes his head, "So much for gettin' used to it, I guess?"

Renala frowns. "He's going all in on them, too," she says. "He's dead set on lopping off the other arm, too."

Steve slowly turns his head to face Renala, blinking a couple times. He snorts loudly, "So, what you're saying is he's finally totally lost it? Why the fuck would he do that!?"

Both I and Monroe told him that was stupid, but he wants to perform at his best when getting the chief back.

Steve gives a shrug as the doors open once more. "Whatever. It's his body. If he wants to hack it up, that's his business, I guess." He steps out of the elevator and starts towards the entrance, "He just better not get any ideas about expectin' the rest of us to 'perform at our best' anytime soon." he jokes.

Renala nods. "He better not," she agrees. "I know enough about tech not to trust it any more than I have to with my body."

Steve reaches back with his free hand and runs his fingertips over his amp and sighs loudly. "That makes two of us..."

Renala raaches for her amp and nods. "Yeah," she sighs. "Now that we're on the topic, Monroe might have given his position away to people he shouldn't have, so tell the bar staff to not help anyone asking about him."

Steve furrows his brow as he reaches the front door and taps the interface to open it. "What do you mean?" he asks, glancing back at Renala, "What kind of 'people' are we talkin' about here?"

Renala frowns. "They're called the Blue Suns," she says, keeping her voice down. "I don't think they were around when I was on Omega." She walks out of the elevator.

Steve groans loudly and gives a shake of his head. "I've had my run-ins with 'em. Not the fun-lovin' type. If they're after Monroe, it ain't gonna be pretty." he says. "Do we know why they're after him?"

He didn't say, just that he had covered his tracks, but then he got someone on Omega to send him a suit of armor, and he fears they might come for him because of that.

Steve steps through the front door and folds his arms across his chest as he awaits Renala. "The Blue Suns are one of the bigger crews that set up shop on Omega." he sighs, "Let's just hope he's good at stayin' hidden. With Eclipse skulkin' about for me, Blue Suns after him... We're likely to turn this town into a fuckin' warzone at this rate..."

Renala exits the front door after him. "I figured you should know," she says, "since you might be dealing with the mess."

Steve sucks in a deep breath and nods. "Suppose I can't be all that mad at the guy. Would be hypocritical, considerin' my own mess." he admits, "Besides... Wouldn't be the first time I'd have to put a Blue Sun in the ground."

Steve turns to Renala, "Still... Appreciate the heads-up."

Renala nods. "You're welcome," she says. "He also mentioned something called Archangel? Is that another one of the Omega gangs?"

Steve gives a quick chuckle and a shake of his head. "Apparently some goodie-two-shoes have decided to try and stick it to the gangs back on Omega. A whole team of 'em. From what I've heard, they've caused quite a stir, too. Even heard a few rumors that it got Eclipse and the Suns talkin'..." he pauses, gesturing with his hands, "...you know, without their weapons for once. With any

luck, they've all got their hands too full to commit resources to a few loose ends out in the Terminus."

Renala chuckles. "Let's hope that's the case," she says, and turns towards the intersection. "Anyway, I think I'll go grab something to eat before I go to work."

Steve gives the asari a wave. "As much as I'd like to join ya, I should probably get back to the Respite."

Your Twitches miss you already?

Oh fuck yourself!

Steve frowns and folds his arms across his chest. "That lil' shit gets under my last nerve and you know it!"

Renala smirks. "I know," she says. "I'll see you around, Steve." She starts walking towards the corner and starts down the street going left.

Steve smiles at the asari and gives a shake of his head. "You're a pain in my ass, Ren!" he shouts before heading off towards the Respite.
