#Hospital – February 6, 2016
Va'ynna walks through the hallway into the lobby, supported by a human nurse. Va'ynna lets go off her by the time she reaches the lobby and looks around for Victoria. She has some simple gray shoes that she didn't when she arrived, and carries a semi-transparent white plastic bag with the single shoe she arrived with that was spared the blood except for some drops here and there.
Victoria was sitting in the lobby, waiting to hear about Va'ynna. When she see the asari walking into the room, she stands up and hurries over to to the asari. "So what did the doctor say?" She asked offering herself as support for the asari.
Va'ynna wraps an arm around Victoria's waist on the side with her injured foot. "That... it's going to be fine," she says. "But... I should take the day off, and... avoid walking more than necessary."
Victoria nods "Well, lets get you home and you can rest up for the day. Do you think you can walk all the way back home?" She asks the asari in a worried tone "We can get a cab or something, so you don't need to walk that much."
Va'ynna shakes her head. "That's too far to walk," she says, "unless... you want to carry me." A giggle follows, as she is not honestly expecting that suggestion be taken seriously.
Victoria gives a light chuckle "Well, as much as I would love to carry you all that way back. It would probably a better choice to get a cab." She says with a smile on her face.
Va'ynna nods. "That... is probably best," she says before turning towards the nearest empty seat. "And it wouldn't look as weird."
"Alright, I will call a cab to come pick us up from here." She helps Va'ynna over to the empty seat. "Give me a few seconds and I shall be back." She leaves the asari to find a terminal.
There is none around. The broken VI would most likely have served that purpose, and there is a receptionist present.
Victoria sighs and activates her omni-tool, forgetting that she had that with her. She taps in the commands to order a cab for them to pick them up at the hospital.
Va'ynna nods and leans back in her seat, keeping her eyes on Victoria while she orders a taxi. "I hope... this didn't get in the way of your work," she says.
Victoria finishes ordering the cab and looks back at Va'ynna "It is fine, all I gotta do now is have a chat with Jason and Vasquez."
Va'ynna tilts her head at first, but then assumes it is most likely work matters. "Give them my regards," she says with a smile. "Just... don't tell them about this."
Victoria gives the asari a kiss on the forehead "I already told you, I was not gonna tell anyone." Her omni-tool started to beep, she activates to see that the cab is here "Well, that was quick."
Va'ynna glances towards the exit, but remains seated. "Just... making sure in case you forgot," she says with a sheepish smile.
Victoria offers herself as support again for the asari "Well, lets get back home and let you rest up."
Va'ynna gets up from her seat, putting most wieght on her good foot before she can support herself on Victoria. "Yeah," she says before wrapping an arm around her waist. "Lead... the way."
Victoria starts leading the way out of the hospital, they would see that the cab is directly outside waiting for the pair. Vicky slowly approaches with the asari in tow and begins helping her into the cab. The driver was a turian and waited patiently for the two to get in.
Va'ynna nods to the turian before she is helped into the taxi's back seat. She knocks the foot against the bottom, which evokes a quick wince but she doesn't say anything.
