It's a relatively mild evening, and large flakes of heavy snow are falling slowly to the ground. The sky is dark, thick clouds blocking the stars and the ring, but the ever-present light of Litae illuminates the sky to the east, looking almost forboding in the way that it shines through the clouds. Yan Sun has swapped into a clean set of clothes - distressed gray-blue jeans and a black top, over which she's wearing both her hoodie and

her winter jacket. She's her makeup on, including a fresh coat of blue for her nails, and the blue lipstick, which she hasn't really bothered with much since coming to Freedom Falls. The thumping of the club's music resonates throughout this side of the block, and the holographic sign flickers as snowflakes fall through it.

Jessica trails alongside Yan Sun. She has changed into a pair of blue jeans and a simple, grey short-sleeved shirt beneath her winter jacket to go along with her usual banged up sneakers. Her wardrobe only consists of cheap, Aite wares. So fancy. Despite the photos Yan Sun has seen of her from Burdy's in which Jessica obviously at some point had some concern over appearances, she hasn't worn makeup since they've met. As they near the

club and the thumping of the music gets louder, a grin crosses her face. "Why are we not here every night? Mmm?" she asks. The abnormal moon in the sky doesn't even get so much as a glance from her. To Jessica, this is just the way the sky looks.

Yan Sun shoots Jessica a glance as they step through the door to the coat room, ending up at the back of a mercifully short line. "Uh... because you work nights, remember?" she says with a smirk, looking around the room a little as they wait. The asari behind the counter seems utterly disinterested in her job, taking entraces fees and winter jackets with half her attention on her omni-tool. In front of them in the line is a turian.

He removes his coat and pays, but the asari stares him down instead of letting him through. "And the gun." she says.

Jessica frowns at Yan Sun. "Oh... Right..." she groans. She glances towards the turian and the asari and brings a hand up to the top of her head, running a palm against the stubble. Shifting uncomfortably in place, she sighs loudly. "You still owe me a hat." she reminds.

Yan Sun looks uncomfortable for a split-second as she's reminded of the circumstances of the hat loss, but she quickly pushes the though away, reaching over and running her own hand over Jessica's stubble as well. "Mhm... and I'm going to find you a good one, promise." she says with a snicker before leaning in and pressing a kiss against her cheek. Meanwhile, the turian is handing over his pistol... and then a second one. And a

third. And then a large, serrated blade, as the asari grows increasingly disconcerted. She finally lets him through, and turns her attention to Jessica and Yan Sun.

Jessica cocks an eyebrow as the knife is handed over. "A hat and one of those." she says, "You make me lose my knife, too! Remember?" She steps up to the asari and begins to remove her jacket. She struggles with the zipper for a moment before pulling it free and thrusting it towards the asari. "She is paying." she says quickly, thumbing towards Yan Sun.

Yan Sun unzips her own jacket, handing it over to the asari and then glancing Jessica's way. "Oh. Nice..." she says, not taking it particularly hard. She activates her omni-tool, and a few keypresses later the fee is paid. She turns over her hoodie as well, and then the asari nods them through. As when each other guest entered the music suddenly jumps in volume and clarity as the doors open, the rapidfire beat of old Thessian

electro sounding loud.

Jessica spins around to face Yan Sun and reaches out to grab one of her hands as she begins backing through the door, tugging Yan Sun along with her. She gives a wiggle of her eyebrows as she rolls her shoulders to the beat of the music. "You see?" she calls out over the music, "Is much better than your dumb game, yes?"

Yan Sun gains a small grin as Jessica starts tugging her through the doorway. "Hmh... 'my game' isn't dumb!" she says defensively, even as her head starts to bob slightly to the music. The club is fairly crowded tonight, with several people on the dancefloor, as well as gathered around the tables and bar. Colorful lights mix with abstract holography above the dancefloor, dancing lines and geometric shapes pulsing in tune with the

music.

Jessica glances about at the crowd and seems to hesitate for a moment, slowing her pace. She wasn't expecting so many people to be here. As she looks back to Yan Sun, she puts that wall of confidence back up and continues to tug her further in. "You only say that because of all your creepy friends!" she shouts, still proud of herself for her previous annoyance.

Yan Sun furrows her eyebrows. "That was your fault!" she shouts in response, continuing to let Jessica guide her further into the club. She shoots a glance towards the bar, and then looking past Jessica at the dance floor, and finally up at the elevated level above, where a trio of asari are performing an elaborate dance routine.

Jessica rolls her eyes, "Suuuure. Is easy to blame me! But I know what you do!" she teases. She follows Yan Sun's gaze over towards the bar and steps in close, already tiring of shouting over the music to be heard. "You want to get a drink first?" she asks, the closer proximity allowing her to be heard without having to yell as loudly.

Yan Sun shoots another glance at the bar and nods, starting to move in the direction of a gap among the people there. The bartender, a light blue asari with a crop top and a number of piercings, including studded headcrests, looks their way after sliding a tall metal glass over to a rare krogan clubgoer. "Yeah, what'll it be?" she asks, raising an eyebrow, or rather the dotted purple facial markings that stand in for them. Yan Sun

looks at Jessica, deferring to her.

Jessica follows alongside Yan Sun and leans against the counter as they reach the bar. She passes a few glances back towards the dance floor before looking to the asari. "Batarian ale! Two!" she shouts over the music. She passes a grin to Yan Sun, recalling the last time they had some batarian ale and her reaction to it. After a moment, she sighs and looks back to the bartender. "Gah. Make that one! And... Something fruity! Because

she-..." she cocks a thumb towards Yan Sun, "...is a little bitch who can't handle her booze!"

Yan Sun frowns at Jessica, nudging her in the side and then leaning her arms against the bar. "Hey, just because I'm not-" the rest of her muttering is drowned out by the music, but she finishes by sticking her tongue out at Jessica and then leaning more heavily against the bar counter, studying the vast array of, to her, exotic alien drinks.

The asari gives a nod, snickering slightly to herself as she turns around. "Got it." she says, mixing a couple of colorful liquids together in a glass before producing it with a straw to Yan Sun. It's bright pink, and has a faint glow to it. She reaches under the counter, pulling out a bottle of batarian ale. She eyes Jessica skeptically. "You sure you can handle this uncut?" she asks as she takes out an empty glass, putting it on the

counter.

Jessica winces from the poke and returns one of her own. Due to space being at a premium, she moves from her spot and takes a position behind Yan Sun, resting her chin on Yan Sun's shoulder to peer over-top of her towards the bartender. She gives a snort of mock offense at the bartender's question. "Look at me. Do I look like someone who can't handle a little burn? Mmm?" she asks through a smirk, "Just pour the drink." Her hands slide

down to Yan Sun's sides and she gives her a poke. "Pay her, kitty cat! And give her a nice tip! She is hot, yes?" she says, making sure to shout loud enough to be heard by the asari.

Yan Sun flinches as she's poked, although she can't really move much between Jessica and the counter. She grabs her drink but then blinks as she hears the instructions, the last part causing her to look a little embarassed. Her gaze reflexively darts over to the bartender, and she then immediately turns her attention to her palm, where part of her omni-tool activates and she fills up a credit chit with a couple of quick swipes,

handing it to the asari.

The bartender pours up the batarian ale, the green liquid filling the empty glass as she shrugs. "If you say so..." she says, sliding it over. She shoots Jessica a grin when she hears her, winking and leaning in closer to Yan Sun when she takes the credit chit and swipes it. She glances at the number that pops up and her grin widens. She lingers close for a moment as she hands the chit back. "Thanks, sweetie."

Jessica returns the asari's wink with one of her own with her good eye and leans against Yan Sun a bit more heavily. "Thank you." she says to the bartender, answering for Yan Sun. She wraps one arm around Yan Sun's waist and sways a bit to the music as she reaches past her with her other hand to grab her drink. She brings it to her lips and takes a sip of it and is quickly reminded just how strong batarian ale is. She grimaces and

licks at the roof of her mouth. "Hurry with your drink so we can dance!" she shouts into Yan Sun's ear.

Yan Sun looks flustered as the bartender returns the credit chit, blinking several times but finding herself unable to look away from the asari. Her attention snaps back as Jessica tells her to hurry up, and as the bartender withdraws with a snicker to go serve someone else she takes her drink in one hand, gripping the straw in the other and sipping it as she glances at JEssica, not having much choice but to remain where she is.

The music is quieting down a little, a somewhat calmer techno tune taking hold.

Jessica uses the arm around Yan Sun's waist to turn her around so they're facing one another properly, Yan Sun's back to the bar counter. She takes another sip of her drink as she glances around, appraising the club now that she's able to experience it while it's actually alive. She gives a satisfied nod as she settles her gaze back on Yan Sun with a grin. "Eh. Is not Adrasteia, but... Maybe Freedom Falls is not as bad as I thought."

she decides.

Yan Sun follows Jessica's gaze around the club, sipping her drink in the meanwhile. "This place is... pretty nice. A lot like the ones back hom-... back in Hong Kong." She glances around again and adds: "Except a lot more aliens, I guess." before sipping her drink again, looking down at it as she does.

Jessica watches Yan Sun in silence for a moment. "You miss your home." she says bluntly. It's not a question. Just a blunt observation. She waves dismissively and takes another sip of her own drink as she gives a roll of her eye and looks off to the side to watch the other customers. "Do not give me your bullshit, kitty cat. The way you talk about it all the time? Mmm. You miss it."

Yan Sun 's gaze darts up at Jessica, but when her attempt at responding is cut off she looks back down at her drink, swirling it a little with her straw. "I-... yeah, I... guess maybe I do." she says, barely audible above the music. She gives a small shrug, poking at the bottom of her glass with the straw.

Jessica continues to watch the crowd. She doesn't respond immediately, but eventually she shrugs her shoulders. "Then maybe you should go." she says. Her gaze moves back to Yan Sun briefly, but she's quick to look away again. "Nothing is stopping you, mmm?"

Yan Sun frowns, lowering her drink and putting it on the counter behind her, keeping one hand around it as she studies Jessica. "Wh-... I... guess not?" she says, sounding a little confused. "B-... Jessica, why is-..." she tilts her head a little. "You sick of having me around?" she asks, a hint of concern slipping into her voice.

Jessica furrows her brow and looks to Yan Sun, giving a loud scoff. "Gah. Don't do that." she sighs. "I meant-... You are sooo annoying. You know this, yes?" she says before she falls silent, suddenly looking incredibly angry at Yan Sun. She simply stares holes through her for a solid few seconds. "Everyone that means anything to me is either dead or-..." she glances down at her drink, hesitating before continuing. Finally she

sighs loudly, "...Or homesick, I guess. So there is nothing stopping me neither..." She passes another frustrated glance Yan Sun's way, as if she was just forced to say something she didn't want to and it's all Yan Sun's fault. "The other night you say we could go, mmm? Anywhere we want, yes? So maybe-... maybe we go..." she shrugs. She takes another sip of her drink and looks down into it, suddenly finding it far more

interesting than she should. Or maybe she's just avoiding eye contact.

Yan Sun 's worried frown is replaced in an instant with big smile as she leaves her drink on the counter, wrapping both arms around Jessica's neck and giving her a tight hug, with no attention paid to the fact that she's holding a drink. "Yes! Of course! I was- I'd love to!"

Jessica is caught off guard by Yan Sun's sudden hug, causing her to spill a bit of her drink... right on her pants. Unsure of what to address first: prying the asshole off of her, or controlling her drink from falling to the ground. She goes for the more important of the two. Saving her drink. She reaches past Yan Sun to set her drink on the counter so she doesn't lose any more of it. "Gah-... You spill my drink! On my good pants!"

she complains loudly. Her 'good pants' are just a normal pair of jeans made of the same low quality standards as the rest of her Aite-produced clothing. "Why-... I am going to kick your ass! Get off!" She shrugs her shoulders a bit to shake off the hug but, as usual, she doesn't try very hard. She finally seems to just accept that she's going to be hugged and allows her arms to hang loosely at her sides as she gives a roll of

her eye. "You are such a fool."

Yan Sun pulls away from the hug with a snicker, looking down at Jessica's pants. "Sorrry..." she says with a slight wince and an apologetic shrug, but her smile lingers. "That'll-... that'll come out! I... think." she says, looking over her shoulder and grabbing a tissue from the bar counter, rubbing at the stain. The bright green stain.

Jessica swats at Yan Sun's hand. "Just-... gah... stop!" she says with a sigh. She looks down at the stain with a frown. It's not like she actually gives a shit. They're just pants. But she'll never pass up an opportunity to give Yan Sun some shit. "You are the clumsiest person I ever meet." she sighs and swipes the tissue from her hand. She gives a couple passes over the stain herself before giving up and throwing the wadded tissue

back on the counter and resuming her harsh stare at Yan Sun. "Now you owe me pants, too!"

Yan Sun surpresses a snicker and grabs her drink from the counter. "Yeah, yeah, I know... I'm a huge fool, I'm the clumsiest person to ever live, my favorite game sucks..." she says with a roll of her eyes and sips her drink. She seems about to say something else when the music starts getting weird, causing her to look past Jessica at the dancefloor, confusion crossing her face.

The music starts skipping and glitching out, and the holograms start to distort into voxels. As the music comes to a grinding halt the lighting across the club changes to blue, and the distorted voxel clouds above the dance floor form into a humanoid shape, with a projected control panel in front of it. A heavily processed voice booms throughout the building: "DJ Virtrix is here to save the daaaaay!" New, heavier music kicks in as

some of the regular clubgoers cheer.

Jessica grins as Yan Sun begins to list all of her faults. At least she listens. When everything begins to go wonky, she tenses up and spins around to look out at the dance floor. The smile slowly returns to her face as the theatrics play out, and when everyone begins to cheer, she chimes in as well, raising a hand up in the air with a loud "Whooooooo!" No longer worried that a local gang is raiding the club for protection money- an

ordeal she's been through on more than one occasion in Adrasteia- her shoulders relax and she backs up against Yan Sun, pressing up against her. "Mmm. Is good that you know your flaws!" she teases, once again finding herself shouting to be heard over the renewed loud music. "But you forgot stupid! You are verrrry stupid!"

Yan Sun observes the theatrics with some interest, grinning as Jessica cheers, but she doesn't join in, sipping her drink as she listens to the music instead. She finishes off her drink as Jessica backs up against her, and puts the glass on the counter. In response to the final comment she gives Jessica's back a shove. "Screw you! I am not!" she shouts.

Jessica nods to herself, pushing her back against Yan Sun even harder in response to the shove. "Mmm. You are." she says matter-of-factly. "Is fine. Cute and stupid is exactly how I like them."

Yan Sun leans back against the bar, once again finding herself with limited mobility as Jessica presses against her. She lets out a quiet scoff at the comment but she hardly seems bothered, wrapping an arm around Jessica's waist and plants a kiss on her neck. "Oh, that's how it is, huh?" she says, close enough to her ear that she doesn't have to shout. She grabs the batarian ale with her free hand and slides that arm too around

Jessica, holding the glass out in front of her. "Didn't spill all your drink."

Jessica glances down at the drink and swipes it out of Yan Sun's hand. "Is a miracle. With how clumsy you are, everyone needs to be careful and protect their drink." she teases as she takes another sip. She slides her other hand over the top of the arm around her waist and her body begins to sway slightly to the beat of the music. After a few moments, she leans her head back over Yan Sun's shoulder so she can speak right into her

ear. "I speak to Kirill yesterday. I can not go anywhere until he can come here, okay? He says it will be a few weeks until he is back in Freedom Falls." she says. Showing that she's already been doing her prep work to follow up on what they spoke about before. Leaving Aite. Leaving the only home she has ever known. She scans Yan Sun's face for a moment before adding, "He is an old man. It takes him time to get anywhere."

she says, making sure to get her digs in at Kirill as a way of deflecting just how much of a big deal all of this must be to her.

Yan Sun 's cybernetics have lit up, and she starts to bob her head to the music, but when Jessica leans back to speak with her she stops. She nods in response, giving her a slight squeeze with her arm. "Alright... that's fine. I know this must be-... take as much time as you need, alright? We're going to need credits if we're gonan get anywhere anyway..."

Jessica continues to sway slightly, leaned back at an awkward angle, resting her shaved head against Yan Sun. "Mmm. Especially because you are lazy and have no job." she says plainly, holding a neutral expression for a moment before a big grin crosses her face. Suddenly, as things tend to be anytime they're discussing anything of any importance, she seems eager to switch subjects and slugs back a large portion of her drink. The

strength of the batarian ale causes her to immediately cough afterwards, but that doesn't seem to bother her. "Hurry! Finish your dumb drink so we can dance!"

Yan Sun looks a little embarassed when Jessica points out that she's not working, something that she's spent more than a little time thinking about, but the thought is short lived. "Wha-... I'm done already! I'm waiting for you!", prodding the coughing woman's belly.

Jessica furrows her brow, bending away from another of Yan Sun's pokes. "Gah-..." she groans. She looks at the large portion of green liquid in her glass and sucks in a deep breath. Her nostrils flare as she sizes up her foe before she begins chugging the rest of her glass. A bit runs down her chin and as soon as the glass is emptied, the coughing begins. "Fuuuuck." she complains as she spins around and thrusts the glass against Yan

Sun's chest. She opens her mouth and bites down at the air a few times before scraping her tongue against her front teeth. "That is a drink... Not your... your... gah-..."

Yan Sun 's eyebrows rise as Jessica chugs the batarian ale. "Woah, uh, are you sure that's-..." She takes the empty glass when it's thrust at her, putting it aside on the counter. "You... okay there?" she says, leaning a little to the side as she studies Jessica.

Jessica waves Yan Sun's concerns aside, though she hunches forward slightly, as if needing to catch her breath. "Mmm." she groans, giving a slight nod. A few more seconds pass before she nods her head a couple more times and reaches out for Yan Sun's hand. "Is fine." she says, sucking a deep breath in through her nose. "You see? I can hold my booze..." she brags, not looking to be in the best of headspace, "Let's... Let's just dance,

yes?"

Yan Sun looks a little skeptical, but she's not one to protest, and nods, pushing off from the bar. "Let's dance." she agrees with a small grin, her left side illuminated by her implants, which match the blue lighting of DJ Virtrix quite well.

Jessica swallows hard, falling uncharacteristically silent and simply nods a few more times. She grabs Yan Sun by the wrist and begins marching out towards the dance floor. Unwilling to admit that probably wasn't the best of ideas, she forces her grin back into place and glances back at Yan Sun. She tries to ignore the noise coming from the pit of her stomach as they reach the dance floor and she turns back to face Yan Sun.

Yan Sun follows Jessica onto the dancefloor as she's dragged along, trying to lean a little to the side to get a glance at her. As they make their way out among the dancing clubgoers, flashing blue lights and holographic voxels around and above them, she closes her eyes for a moment, a pulse of light running through her cybernetics and her eyes opening again as she starts to move in tune with the music, her movement mostly just

some subdued swaying, but unlike her everyday life her timing is perfectly in sync.

Jessica's smile becomes a little more genuine as her eye moves across the pulse of light crossing Yan Sun's skin. As she's unable to stop her mind from comparing it to her own skin, her smile wavers briefly. But ever the master of ignoring the things that bother her, she pushes those thoughts away and steps in close to Yan Sun. Her hand moves to her own stomach as it rumbles and she finds herself regretting yet another bad choice, but

soon enough she's moving to the rhythm of the music alongside Yan Sun.

Yan Sun 's attention is drawn to Jessica's stomach when she notices her queasy look, and she steps in closer, sliding one of her own hands over Jessica's stomach, putting on a dismayed pout for a moment - whether in mockery or sympathy is not quite clear. She lets go and continues to dance, her movements starting to build up a bit, but it's clear she's a bit hesitant.

Jessica obviously interprets it as mockery and narrows her eyes on Yan Sun briefly, but it doesn't take long for her attention to return to the music. Unlike Yan Sun, there's no hesitation in Jessica's movements. This is her natural environment. The lightshow. The music. The dancing. Even now, this is where she feels most comfortable. While everybody else is too preoccupied with dancing to pay any attention to the burned woman on the

dancefloor, her usual guarded nature seems to fade away and a big grin returns to her face... Despite the stomach ache setting in.

Yan Sun mirrors Jessica's grin. She seems inspired by her enthusiasm, and it's not longer before she's moving without hesitation, arms no longer at her sides. She throws her head back and closes her eyes for a moment, just feeling the music pulse through her body. Quite literally, it turns out, as she lifts her left arm high into the air and the almost circuitboard-like shapes running across her skin start to pulse out an electric

blue light in sync with the beat. She opens her eyes and tries to seek out Jessica's gaze, a big smile on her blue lips.

Jessica steps in close as Yan Sun shuts her eyes. As she opens her eyes again, Jessica brings one hand to Yan Sun's side, remaining right up against her as she moves to the music. Her eye travels along the pulse of blue light and her other hand reaches to trace a fingertip alongside them. After a moment, she holds eye contact with Yan Sun and gives a mock frown. "Show off!" she shouts over the music.

Yan Sun 's smile only grows, and she slips away from Jessica as her dancing continues to grow less inhibited, enthusiasm shining through. She says something, but it gets lost in the music, and after looking up at the holographic display above for a moment the light of her implants concentrate in her hand, the fabricator in her palm lighting up as well. Suddenly a trace starts to appear in the air as she dances - anywhere she moves

her left hand a glowing blue trail lingers in the air. Her dancing grows wilder, throwing her head from side to side as she alternates her arms. It's not long before she's surrounded by an ethereal blue crisscross of trails.

Jessica's momentum is thrown off as Yan Sun's dancing grows more and more flashy and confident, and eventually she finds herself simply standing in place and watching her partner. After a few moments, she catches herself staring and is quick to get back into step with the beat. Sure, she may not have the flashy lights and cybernetics, but she's a good dancer. Honed by years and years of spending most of her afternoons in Adrasteia's

clubs. Though as she spins and turns, her gaze continues to follow Yan Sun, snapping right back to her everytime she comes back into her vision. She seems unable to control the stupid grin on her face.

Yan Sun continues to dance energetically to the rather intense song, several eyes looking her way as she shows off what she can do. Much like in Adrasteia there's no trace of her usual clumsy self and she continues to weave around, pulsing with light and surrounded by a holographic display. She shoots a glance Jessica's way as the track nears its climax, a focused expression on her face as she starts to draw an elaborate shape in

the air above herself and then punches through it as the final beat sounds, the holographics disappating in a flash of light. The display elicits a 'Woo!' from a nearby human. Yan Sun's concentrated expression gives way to a big grin and she allows her arms to drop to her side as the music mellows out. She finds herself panting for air, looking a little flustered, from exertion, or embarassment as she realizes a few people

were watching her. Or perhaps both.

Jessica slows her movements to a stop as the music dies down, big grin still plastered across her face as she catches her breath. Her gaze travels around at the people watching Yan Sun, and- with a chuckle to herself- she's quick to step in and place her hands on Yan Sun's hips and plants a quick kiss against her blue lips. Her way of putting a stamp on her property in front of the onlookers, lest anyone get any ideas. "How you can do

all of that but you can't walk to the bathroom without nearly breaking your neck!? Mmmm!?" she teases.

Yan Sun is a little caught off-guard by the kiss as she's still catching her breath, letting out a muffled 'mfnh' but still smiling when she pulls away. She starts sliding her hands up Jessica's arms when she feels her hands on her hips, gaze darting over to her still glowing left hand as it illuminates Jessica's coarse skin, before looking back at her face, chuckling as she hears the question. She lifts her right hand to brush

some hair out of her face and gives a small shrug. "The music helps..." she says, her right hand going to Jessica's hip.

Jessica's shoulders bounce as Yan Sun's response gets a chuckle out of her. "Mmm. Music. Of course." she says. Her gaze returns to Yan Sun's cybernetic implants. "You are-.... You are alright, kitty cat..." she snickers. She bites her lip for a moment as she continues to study the glow of the cybernetics. Her gaze returns to Yan Sun's eyes and she cocks an eyebrow, "If you go without me, I will find you and stab you. Mmm?" she offers.

It's a playful threat, meant almost as a backhanded compliment. But there's an obvious hint of worry behind her words. And given the fact that it was just tossed out there, it's like that it's something she's worried may actually happen.

Yan Sun slides her left hand down to join her right, slipping both of them around Jessica's lower back where they lock together. She's making little more than a token effort to move to the music now, clearly more focused on Jessica. She furrows her eyebrows slightly at the 'threat'. "Huh? You worried I'm gonna go dancing without you?"

Jessica furrows her brow. "Worried?" she scoffs, giving a roll of her eye, "You wish. Was a joke." she adds defensively. She puts her right arm over Yan Sun's shoulders, hooking her hand around the back of Yan Sun's neck. Her eye continues to be drawn to the glowing implants adorning Yan Sun. "I am sorry to tell you, kitty cat. But I know you are not going anywhere without me, mmm?" she says, "You... are addicted to me." she teases,

a soft snicker escaping her as her other hand brushes across Yan Sun's cheek. "Mmm. Is pathetic, really." she continues to push, though the grin has yet to go away since Yan Sun began dancing.

Yan Sun seems amused as Jessica turns defensive, snickering slightly. She blinks as a hand is slipped around her neck, and she moves in closer to Jessica, one of her fingers drawing a circle against her lower back in sync with the music. The last comment causes her to put on an unamused frown, although judging by the suddenness of it it's unlikely to be serious. "Uh-huh... maybe I should go find a 'hot' asari to dance with?" she

asks, raising an eyebrow and looking off to the side at the other people on the dance floor.

Jessica's hand moves from Yan Sun's cheek back down to her waist. She uses the hand on Yan Sun's neck to pull her attention back. "Orrrr maybe you should stay right here." she says, only slightly paying attention to the music as she sways alongside Yan Sun. She leans in, pressing her forehead against Yan Sun's. An uncharacteristically tender gesture. No groping. No ass slapping. Just a moment of closeness. She closes her eyes and

takes a deep breath. "Mmm. I like that idea much better." she says, as if having decided for Yan Sun.

Yan Sun gains a soft smile as Jessica pulls her back in and they lean their foreheads against each other. She too closes her eyes for a moment, just swaying back and forth. "Hm. Me too..." she says with a quiet chuckle, barely audible over the music. She opens her eyes, the left still glowing blue as she studies Jessica up close for a moment before shifting her head to press a kiss against her lips.

Jessica's eyes remain shut as they simply sway back and forth together on the dancefloor. Her lips part as she feels Yan Sun's lips against her own and she uses her hand on the back of Yan Sun's neck to hold the kiss for a few moments before she pulls away. Her grin turns to a full-on smile as she studies her partners face in silence before leaning in and pressing her lips to Yan Sun's ear. "I am having a good time, kitty cat." she

says softly.

Yan Sun lets out another quiet chuckle, nodding slightly. "You're drunk." she says in response, having gotten a taste of the batarian ale during the kiss. She runs her hands up Jessica's back and hugs her, still swaying to the music, although it quickly starts to feel out of place as the music starts to pick up in energy.

Jessica nods slightly. "Mmm. Maaaaybe. Just a little... Batarian ale is gooood." she says, followed by a snicker. "But I am fine. Is going to take a loooot more than one to stop me." she continues. Quite obviously not true. She glances off to the side, giving a frown as the music begins to change. "Gah... Go back to the other song." she instructs an invisible DJ.

Yan Sun raises an eyebrow at Jessica's claim. "Riiight..." she says with a small nod. "Should I go order another?" she asks with a grin. When the music starts to change she creates a bit of distance between herself and Jessica, turning around as if to leave the dance floor.

Jessica frowns, reaching out to put a hand on Yan Sun's shoulder and urge her back. "Mmm. I think maybe drinks can wait..." she says, stepping forward and sliding her arm around Yan Sun and across her collarbone from behind. "I like this song!" she decides, as if that means they can't get more drinks yet. Now behind Yan Sun, she resumes moving slowly to the music and slides her other arm around the woman's stomach. "We will-... we

will drink more when the music sucks, yes? For now we dance!"

Yan Sun doesn't seem particularly surprised as she's stopped from leaving, and she's quick to press back against Jessica, starting to dance in tune with the new music, although her movements are kept fairly subdued since Jessica's arms are wrapped around her. She reaches back with her left hand, running it down the back of Jessica's head and cradling her neck while keeping her gaze ahead, away from her.

Jessica is mostly just shifting from foot-to-foot at this point. She gives Yan Sun a squeeze from behind. "Besides... I do not want you to get too trashed." she says. "I know you can not hold your booze..." she adds. Nevermind the flashbacks of hurling into a toilet in Adrasteia as Yan Sun stood by.

Yan Sun snickers to herself, not bothering with responding to Jessica. Instead she just keeps dancing against her in a fairly casual way. She seems quite content to stay like this, Jessica's arms around her as she bobs her head to the music, looking out across the dancefloor at the assorted clubgoers.

Jessica seems to be fine with that as well. She continues to sway in place, both arms wrapped around Yan Sun tightly as she joins her in people watching. She finds herself drifting back to memories of Adrasteia. All the time she spent with her friends at Illumination. With Martin. Despite the sudden pang of sadness it brings her, she can't help but wonder what he would think of this place. No, what he would think of her right now.

Preparing to leave Aite. Their home. Something they talked about so often. She presses a quick kiss against the crook of Yan Sun's neck and lets out a deep sigh. None of that mattered. Because he's dead. Like so many other things, she just forces those thoughts out of her mind and begins to sway her hips a bit more, picking up her pace as the music quickens.

Yan Sun seems entirely unaware of the thoughts that plague Jessica as she continues to dance, once again reaching back for the back of her head when she feels her lips against her neck. Her other hand slides over one of the arms Jessica has wrapped around her as she continues to press back against her as she moves to the rythm, leaning her head back against Jessica's face.

Jessica rubs her forehead against the back of Yan Sun's head tenderly, pressing a few more kisses to the nape of her neck. She slides her hand back across Yan Sun's stomach, allowing it to rest there for now, enjoying their small, subtle movements to the music. As the current song dies down, she seems to snap out of her unusually tender trance. "Mmm. Maybe another drink is a good idea." she says, returning to her usual form as she

slides her fingertips up under the bottom of Yan Sun's shirt- right there on the dance floor- and playfully switches from kisses on her neck to soft bites. "Something to keep my hands busy." she snickers.

Yan Sun closes her eys for a while, enjoying the rare tender moment, but she's quickly brought out of it as she feels the hand starting to slide in under her top, and the nibbling at her neck. Obviously a little caught off guard she lets out surprised half-gasp half-chuckle and swats at Jessica's hand. "Uh-huh, seems like you need it..." she agrees, looking towards the bar and making a gentle attempt at extracting herself from

Jessica's grasp.

Jessica grasps at Yan Sun's hand as she pulls away, a soft chuckle escaping her as she follows behind. A combination of the alcohol holding back her own insecurities and simply her usual shamelessness gives her little reason to care about what those around her think. "Mmm. Suuure. Pretend like you don't like it. We both know the truth." she teases as she tags along towards the bar.

Yan Sun shoots an embarassed glance around as Jessica teases her, not acknowledging her as they head towards the bar, but the slightly flustered look on her face indicates she's not exactly wrong, just inappropriate. The asari bartender looks their way as Yan Sun guides them towards a gap among the people at the counter. "Time for round two?" she asks, apparently remembering them well enough.

Jessica tosses her arms back around Yan Sun from behind as they reach the bar and looks over her towards the bartender once again, just as before. "Mmm. Round two!" she agrees. She's clearly in a much more jovial mood tonight than usual. At least outwardly. Her typical mean-spirited teasing is only slightly mean-spirited tonight. Perhaps in part due to the large amount of powerful alcohol she consumed in a very short amount of time.

She leans forward a bit, poking her head up and over Yan Sun's shoulder. "She remembers us." she says to Yan Sun before directing her attention to the asari. "Of course you remember us. How could you forget thisbeautiful face, yes?" she says, her hand sliding up to Yan Sun's face and giving her cheeks a squeeze. Either it's her innebriation talking, or just another case of her doing her best to embarass Yan Sun. She

presses a big, sloppy wet kiss against Yan Sun's temple.

Yan Sun mumbles something incomprehensible as her cheeks are squished, and squirms as Jessica kisses her temple, letting out a slightly awkward laugh as she looks at the bartender, who has already started preparing their drinks. "Of course I remember." the asari agrees with a wink. She studies Jessica for a moment before placing their drinks on the counter, Yan Sun's the same as the last, and Jessica's half a a glass of batarian

ale. "Here. Any more than that and I don't think you're walking out of here."

Jessica glares at the glass with a frown. "Gah. I drink an entire bottle of this shit in one night on a bet. Entire bottle. Is not so strong." she brags, though neglects to mention the near-death experience or her brother carrying her to the local doctor in a panic. "Whatever..." she groans, relenting as she leans over Yan Sun a bit further and scoops up her glass. In part probably due to the fact that just accepting the

bartender's terms allows her to save face without blacking out. She looks at the asari and takes a long swig from her glass. "Mmm. Delicious." she says pointedly as she takes a step away from the counter and puts her back to Yan Sun and the bartender, muttering under her breath.

Yan Sun smirks slightly to herself, producing a credit chit and paying for the drinks after some fumbling. She looks over her shoulder as she notices Jessica turning away, grabbing her own drink and following. "I am nooot carrying you back to the room, just saying." she says with a snicker before lifting her drink to her lips, sipping the straw repeatedly.

Jessica gives a roll of her eye without bothering to look Yan Sun's way. "Fuuuuck you." she says, giving her a nudge with her shoulder. "Do not be an asshole! I am fine!" Finally, she glances over to Yan Sun as the grin returns to her face and she looks her up and down. "Besides. I do not think you could carry me back. You are too scrawny." She folds her arms across her chest, resting her drink against the crook of her elbow.
