It's shortly after 11PM when Yan Sun recieves a buzz at her door.

Yan Sun startles as the door buzzes. She's sitting cross-legged in bed, surrounded by a multitude of projected windows coming from the holo-emitter placed in front of her. She swipes the haptic keyboard aside before scooting off of the bed, distorting the windows she moves through in the process. She hurries over to the door, brushing some crumbs from her hoodie and relocating a rogue strand of hair before pressing a hand

against the door's interface to open it.

Jattic is stood outside of the door looking none too happy to be there. Snow is still on clinging to the sides of his boots and the shoulders of his large hooded jacket. The jacket is bunched up in places, an intentional design that almost causes it to look like a massive scarf wrapped around his frame. His black pants have intricate grey stitching all the way up the sides in a wavy pattern. "Yan Sun, correct?"

Yan Sun was very obviously not expecting Jattic. In fact, finding herself face-to-face with a displeased-looking batarian causes her eyes to widen she scrambles to adjust. "W-... uhm... yes! Yeah, that's me." she blurts out, studying him with clear confusion over his presence as her gaze darts uncertainly from eye to eye.

Jattic gives a small nod to himself. "Jason requested that I stop by. I believe you are staying with Jessica?" Despite it being a question, he doesn't await an answer. This is Jessica's address on file and Jason had already informed him of such. "I was-..." he seems to lose his words for a second, all four eyes lowering briefly before continuing, "...Checking in on the dam. I manage the security team there for Redrock. I was

ensuring nothing had gone wrong in my absense over the past week." he says, deciding its much more appropriate for discussion with a stranger than: 'I was unable to quiet my mind after that horrific ordeal I just endured.' His voice is deep and gravely, but laced with a hint of exhaustion. "I discovered Jessica. Our employee on-site says she's been there most of the day. I did not approach her..." he continues, leaving

out the 'because she's an insufferable creature' bit, "...but she did not appear to be in high spirits. Jason thought this might be of some concern to you."

Yan Sun seems rather surprised by Jattic's words, and a quiet "Oh..." slips out. "I didn't-... Yeah, I'll go talk to her, if-... if she's still there. Thank you." she says, a series of nods following along with a slightly awkward and distracted smile. She glances off to the side at her winter clothes, her heels lifting slightly off the floor a few times, eager to get moving but not exactly wanting to shut the door in Jattic's

face.

Jattic doesn't seem ready to leave just yet. "It's cold outside, so dress accordingly. I will take you to the dam when you're ready." he says bluntly rather than offering or alluding to the fact that, after having his life saved by the ungrateful little shit, he feels a sense of obligation into looking after Jessica's well-being. He starts to turn away from the door before a loud, frustrated grunt escapes him and all four eyes

once again lock onto Yan Sun. "Wolfe also insisted I say-..." his gaze rises slightly, looking towards the top of the door frame. He almost seems to be preparing himself for what he has to tell her. "The elevator always stops at the bottom floor." he finally delivers in about as unenthusiastic of a way as possible. "I am then supposed to wink at you." Silence follows as Jattic holds Yan Sun's gaze, unblinking. Almost

pointedly so. "I will not be doing that. I believe it is supposed to be an innuendo." he continues clinically, "Sexual in nature if my knowledge of humans is any indication. I am not aware of what it means, however. Truthfully, I do not believe Wolfe is entirely aware of what it means." With that, he moves to step off beside the door to wait for Yan Sun to ready herself. "If Wolfe asks, tell him I winked." he calls out

once he disappears off to the side of the door.

Yan Sun 's eyebrows rise slightly. "Oh. Uh... thanks, just gimme a sec to-" She's just about turned to grab her jacket when Jattic speaks again, causing her attention to turn back to him. Her initial look of confusion quickly turns to embarrassment, which only grows as the batarian continues with his deadpan elaboration. A few mumbles of "Uh-huh, mmh... yeah..." along with several rapid nods and an uncomfortable grimace is all

that follows before she makes her escape back inside to put on her jacket, beanie and gloves, as well as her boots. She also snatches the holo-projector from the bed, turning it off and stuffing it in her pocket.
