Va'ynna shows a brief grin at the idea of subverting expectations, but she doesn't say anything about it. "She does wear a lot of gray," she says with a thoughtful hum and picks out a dark gray one with an abstract pattern of horizontal stripes, but the red, green and yellows does tie it somewhat to the holiday. "What do you think? Should we get her something more Christmas-like instead?"

Victoria looks at the sweater for a moment, judging it and determining if this would be the best choice for Uvena. "I mean I like it. She could always wear this for next Christmas if she enjoys the appearance of it." Vicky was trying to sell the long-term idea of this gift.

Va'ynna nods and puts the sweater on top of the other one she's getting. She then finds another matching the one she's getting Li, but in a size more befitting an adult, and puts it on top of the pile. Payment is simple, she taps in the sizes on the payment datapad and swipes her omni-tool over it to pay.

The merchant steps forward to hand over a simple plastic bag. "Thanks," she says before looking at Victoria. "Can I help you with anything?"

Va'ynna folds the clothes and slips them into the plastic bag. The bag is not going to hold anything heavy without breaking, but at least it's opaque enough to not spoil anyhing in case they run into any of the recipients.

Victoria shakes her head. "No, sorry. Just helping my partner pick out some gifts. The only person on my list that would enjoy a sweater has a dozen already." She did not want to find another sweater for her sister, or look for one for Va'ynna which would be a horrible idea at the moment.

She chuckles and raises her brows. "Nobody can have too many warm clothes, not with the winters we get here," she says, "but you know where to find me when you change your mind!" She cats one glance to Va'ynna before stepping back to her post. "Enjoy your holiday."

Va'ynna walkes a few steps away from the stall, and stands on her toes for a moment to get a better overview of what's available deeper into the market. "Your turn, Victoria," she says with a glance over her shoulder. "Where are we going next?"

Victoria gives a smile and a nod to the merchant. Vicky then follows Va'ynna away from the stall. "Well, I want to find my sister a necklace. So if we can find a stall with jewellery would be great." Vicky gave a quick glance around their current position to see if any stalls nearby would offer what she needs.

Va'ynna helps Victoria look around for it, and points out two of them in the distance. "That... sounds like a lovely idea," she says. "Lead the way."

They should be able to locate a stall selling jewelry, even if they are few and far between. Some of them have guards posted at them, while others have a very attentive or intimdating seller behind them to make a would-be thief think twice.

Victoria noticing one of the jewellery stall with guards posted at them, figuring it would be easier for her to find the necklace she wants would be easier. She grabs Va'ynna hand and begins to make her way to the stall, hoping that Va'ynna follows. "I think I can see a good place to go." The stall seems to be run by a human male, while the guard who stands guard over the stall is a

turian.

Va'ynna takes her hand and follows her to the stall, doing her best not to bump into anyone on the way there. When they reach the stall, she looks over the products on display. She lets go of Victoria's hand and keeps her hands where the guard and seller can easily see them, as the security presense is making her nervous.

Victoria | The man running the stall greets the duo with a smile. "Ah, good evening ladies. How can I be of assistance today?" He notices the asari is nervous about the turian guard. "Don't worry about Gaius here. He is just here to make sure I don't over charge you, really I don't think my prices are that criminal."

Victoria gives a smile to the merchant. "Hey as long as the price is criminally under price, I ain't gonna complain." She gives a quick glance at some of the products on display. "I'm trying to find a necklace with a bird pendant or charm. Need a good gift for my sister, something that I'll know she will love." The man holds up a single finger and ducks below his stall to look at his

stock.

Va'ynna gives a small, strained smile, but she shifts back a bit to be more than an arms length from the stall. "It's... fine," she says, her worries not eased by the seller's words. "I'm just... tagging along with her." She still looks over the products. While she cannot think of anyone to get such a gift for right now, she might get an idea if she spots a piece that would look good on one of them.

Victoria spots a bracelet with a unique chainlink that makes it look quite fragile, she picks it up to examine it. The bracelet gold chainlink is made to look like each chain is shattering with silver making the color of the shatter lines. She gives it a nod but places it back once the merchant stands back up with a small selection.

Victoria | The man brings three necklaces back up with him. "These are sadly all I have. But I hope you find what you need." He places each on the counter of his stall. The first is a silver necklace with a circle pendant with a single flying bird. The second a rose gold necklace with a simple charm that matches the appearance of an eagle. The final a simple gold necklace with a circle

pendant with two birds chasing one another.

Va'ynna looks at the presented necklaces with some interest. "That one is nice," she points at the rose gold necklace, finding the bird-shaped charm much more interesting than the circle pendants, "but... you know your sister better than I do, so you should... probably not listen to me."

Victoria looks between all three of the necklaces, looking to see if which one would suit her sister the most. "I like both the standard gold and rose gold. But I don't really know which one would better suit her."

Va'ynna gives a thoughtful hum. She doesn't insist on her preference, as that could put this on her should her sister have a strong dislike for rose gold. "Asking her would... ruin the surprise of it, though," she says.

Victoria picks up the rose gold necklace. "I think I like this one more, stands out a little better than just standard gold." The man waits patiently for Victoria to pick one. Vicky gives a quick nod. "Yeah, this is the one." The man gives a quick nod. "Excellent choice." Victoria proceeds to finish the transaction with the merchant as he puts the necklace in a small gift box.
