#VVApartment – July 17, 2020

It's the 23rd, early afternoon. Va'ynna is at work as usual today. The weather outside is frightful, with heavy snowfall and moderate wind.

Uvena stops just outside the door to the apartment, and presses the doorbell. She still has access to the apartment from the brief time she stayed here, but she might as well be polite.

Victoria hearing the doorbell, Vicky makes her way to the door to answer it. She opens the door to see Uvena, knowing it was not going to be her sister since she had other business to deal with tonight. "Hey Uvena. You could of just showed yourself in." Vicky was in her standard t-shirt and long pants get up.

Uvena shrugs and heads into the apartment. She drops the plastic bag she was carrying, hangs up her heavy jacket and shudders a bit. "I don't live here," she says, "and I thought I'd give you fair warning in case you were up to something secret." She's wearing a gray wollen turtle-neck sweather, and simple black pants.

Victoria shakes her head. "Nah, I'm not doing anything secret at the moment." Moved aside to let Uvena enter the apartment easier, once she entered Vicky closed the door behind her. She looks down at the bag. "What's in the bag?"

Uvena gives a small smile as she picks it up and folds the top of it over to further conceal the contents. "It's not the season to look too close at people's shopping," she says. "I'll take care of it." She walks further into the apartment, and the tree is the first thing to catch her attention. "Va'ynna didn't tell me about the tree," she says.

Victoria nods at Uvena "You're right, but being told not to look makes me even more curious." Vicky follows Uvena further into the apartment and smiles at her. "Just wait until you see it decorated. I think Va'ynna would kill me if I decorate it by myself." She jokes. "So I wait until your daughter gets home before I start."

Uvena gives a gentle pat on the shoulder. "You're a big girl, you can wait one more day, right?" she says, her tone light-hearted as she lays the bag on the couch, handle side down. She lets out a sigh as she looks around. "There is a lot that needs to be done other than decorating the tree," she says. "Cleaning, grocery shopping, tidying, and maybe some cooking. What do you have in mind for tomorrow's meal?"

Victoria gives a overexaggerated sigh. "I guess I'll have to." Vicky forgot about the cleaning, well not really forgot about just did not want to do it. Vicky perks up a little when Uvena asks about tomorrow's meal. "See I got everything I need for tomorrow's meal. Classic roast pork with some baked veggies." She gives a smile. "I'll be handling the cooking tomorrow, and it will be a

treat."

Uvena nods. "I don't know what that is, but it sounds lovely," she says. "I'll be here as early as I can, so don't be afraid to ask if you need any help in the kitchen. Who knows, me being in the way may keep a certian professional away from the kitchen on her day off." She then goes to the bathroom to retrieve the cleaning supplies, a bucket and a mop, knowing exactly where they keep that from when she lived

here.

Victoria nods at the idea of Uvena blocking Va'ynna from the kitchen. "I mean, I should be able to keep her out of the kitchen but an extra set of hands to shoo her away would be good." After watching Uvena go to the bathroom and come out with cleaning supplies, Vicky gave a slight frown. "What do you want me to clean? Never been much of a cleaner."

Uvena raises her brows. "Are you telling me that you leave the cleaning to Va'ynna?" she asks. "Then it's about time you learn." She puts the bucket into the sink and starts filling it with warm water and a healthy splash of cleaner detergent. "There's a whole apartment to clean, so take your pick."

Victoria gives a shrug at Uvena. "I mean, I tidy up that's sort of the best I do." She gives a quick look around the apartment. "I think it looks fine, but I've never really had to clean before."

Uvena snickers a bit to herself before closing the tap. "I don't have to ask how you got that tree inside," she says. "The needles on the floor tell that story." She immerses a cloth in the water, wrings it and throw it at Victoria. "You can take the tables and other surfaces while I start on the floor."

Victoria looks at the floor. "Oh right, it was too late at night to worry about that." Looks up in time to see the cloth come flying at her and catches it. She gives a defeated sigh. "I wish I could pass off this off like I could on the ship."
