The colony itself has a very large representation of the human species, and with them, their traditions. Some new non-human residents might then react to the celebration with curiosity (or perhaps annoyance) as there will be fireworks at some points during the evening.

While there are small parties around the homesteads, both private and in human-owned establishments, there is no large event. The militia encourages most to keep fireworks out of central areas, as well as after sundown.

Miner's Respite's bar staff are informed of the human celebration, and there will be a bartender on work until three hours past midnight.
