So, who was the salarian? New bartender?

Va'ynna seems thoughtful for a moment. "He arrived with Kanaya," she says, "and he has... experience bartending, but... I think he's a friend, and not.... hired. His name is... Ennik"

Jason nods a couple times, glancing around as they pass by the storefronts. "He didn't seem afraid to get down to work. Should be nice to have another person that can handle making drinks."

Va'ynna smiles, upping her pace a bit to walk beside Jason. "Yeah, Kanaya... sometimes stand out at the bar, too," she says, "but... she's often looking at... my datapad... with drink recipes."

Jason stops when he gets to the corner and gives a glance in each direction. A confused look crosses his face. "Uhhh.... yeah. I guess she probably needs to learn the drinks." He shakes his head, turning in a circle once, "Not everyone can be a natural like you, V." he gives the asari a quick smirk as he returns to his navigating.

Va'ynna stops and glances in each direction, as well. "Yeah, that's... that makes sense," she says. "It's... nice to have that datapad,... like when... Victoria took over for me... a few days ago."

Jason chuckles and spins around to face Va`ynna. "Victoria!?" he asks, sounding quite surprised, "How many drinks did she fuck up?" He turns to the right and starts down the street before seemingly realizing something and suddenly spins 180 degrees and starts down tthe left path instead.

Va'ynna is about to follow him when he does a 180 and she tilts her head. Does he really know where he's going? "None... that she told me about," she says, and follows him when it looks like he knows where he's going. "It wasn't a... busy part of the day."

Jason nods, attempting to appear confident as he explores another street. "Is that gonna be a regular thing?" he asks, "Her bartending? You're not trying to-..." he pauses as he looks over a sign for a shop advertising shuttle and car repairs, but has a neon holo sign of a hanar doing a strange jig. First it stands straight up. Then the knees bend slightly. Then, back straight. Just a

two frame animation, repeating over and over. His mind races in an attempt at connecting the dots. How does a dancing hanar relate to vehicle repairs? What does it mean? He gives a shake of his head before continuing on down the street.

...Steal my employees.... Are you?

Va'ynna looks at the logo, as well, but doesn't think much about it. "I... really,... really needed a little nap," she says, looking embarrased, "but... now that... Kanaya is here, I don't need to manage and... work all day anymore."

Jason gives a shrug, looking off to the left and right. He places his hands on his hips as he reaches the next intersection and takes a deep breath, glancing further down the street, and off to his left. Deciding to turn, he starts down the street to his left. "I'm just messing with ya. So long as she shows up when I need her, I don't care what she does in her free time. Serve drinks.

Cook. If she's willing to do it, get all the help you need out of her."

Va'ynna frowns. "I... don't want to... take advantage," she says, "and I... won't have many... shifts at the bar now that I can work in the kitchen again." She follows Jason down the street he picked with a raised eyebrow, but doesn't say anything about it. She shivers a bit as a weak gust of wind pass by them.

Jason continues down the street, giving a shake of his head. "No, not take advantage! I don't-... no! I just mean-..." he tilts his head to one side, then the other, "You know. Spend some quality time together while you're on the clock."

Va'ynna walks beside him, letting out a little giggle. "I... don't think D'Inea would let me... have someone else in the kitchen," she says. "Maybe... Kanaya is different about it, but... I.... shouldn't be distracted in the kitchen."

Jason side steps into Va'ynna playfully, nudging her with his shoulder. "What Kanaya doesn't know~..." he sings, continuing on straight ahead past the next intersection, but not without a quick look in each direction first.

Va'ynna smiles, holding back laughter. "She... can see security feeds, too," she says. "But... the point is that... I... don't need a distraction in the kitchen."

Jason eventually reaches the 'main road' and places his hands on his hips, giving a look in each direction. As his eyes lock onto the market's sign, a big grin crosses his face. He gives a nod towards it non-chalantly as he glances back towards Va'ynna. "Yep. Right where I left it."

Va'ynna tilts her head. "You... didn't... really know where to go, did you?" she asks followed by a shrug, "but... we found it, so... that's good." She looks the market over.

Jason looks at Va'ynna, hands still on his hips, and scoffs loudly. "Psh! ...PSH!..." He breaks eye contact and looks back at the market sign. "Psh!" he scoffs one last time. "Of course I did! Knew exactly where it was! Directions and navigation are sort of a my thing." he smirks, shrugging confidently. After a few moments he lets out a deep breath. "Ihadnofuckingidea."

Va'ynna giggles. "I... thought you went out more... often than I did," she says, then looks at the market. "What... do they sell here?"

Jason frowns and starts down the street towards the market. "You know.... The type of crap you normally find in a market." he says with a shrug. "Food....... Beer.... Stuff that isn't food.... Beer...."

Va'ynna follows him towards the market. "What about... clothes?" she says. "Is that among... stuff that isn't... food or beer?"

Jason raises an eyebrow. "I certainly hope so. Otherwise I would've drank this shirt a long time ago." he says with a snicker.

Va'ynna frowns. "You... knew what i meant," she says and nudges him.

Jason chuckles loudly and gives the asari a wink. "I'm sure they sell clothes, V." he assures her, "One-stop-shop-til-you-drop." he chants.

Va'ynna lets out a short giggle, following him. "I... hope I can afford it, then," she says.

Jason quickens up his pace towards the market. "What are you looking for, anyways?" he asks, "I just need to grab some daily supplies. You know. Beer. Beer-...." he pauses, glancing back at the asari, "....Maybe a little beer."

Va'ynna hums thoughtfully, while upping her pace in turn to catch up. "I... thought I'd bore you... looking over clothes... in an... indecisive way," she says, not making it clear whether she's joking.

Jason gives a short shrug and slowly extends his arm off to his side, wrapping it around Va'ynna's shoulder. "You kidding me? Gorgeous asari modeling clothing for me? Reow." he says with a nudge, "Sounds like a good day to me."

Va'ynna tenses up as he brings his arms around her shoulders, but relaxes shortly after. She blushes furiously at his comment, however. "Point... taken," she mutters.

Jason continues onwards, crossing the street once it's safe to do so. He looks her over with an amused smirk on his face. "You're adorable when you're embarrassed. You know that, right?" He gives her a wink and continues on his way, chuckling up a storm.

Va'ynna follows beside him, looking away, her cheeks still a different shade of purple. "Not... helping," she murmurs.

Jason shakes her around a bit playfully. "That's the point." he admits, pushing the doors open as they approach them, "Now! Where to first?"

Va'ynna pushes the door in front of her as they enter. "Well... the things... you need should be... cold when you get home, shouldn't they?" she asks, followed by a giggle.

Jason gives a slight shrug. "I don't mind warm beer." he chuckles, "But... Point taken. Onto asari-wares!"

Va'ynna nods. "I... suppose you know where that is?" she says while looking around the floor.

Jason raises an eyebrow, "Yeah. Of course. Because I always come here to try on women's dresses." he says sarcastically, "No idea."

Va'ynna smiles sheepishly. "Oh,... right," she says, feigning surprise. "We should... just look around, then."
