Adam arrives at the Respite with a large duffle bag strapped across his back. Dressed in smart, but casual attire, his gaze sweeps across the bar. Another new world, another new bar. He runs a hand through his hair as he approaches the counter, though he doesn't take a seat, electing to rather stand.

Va'ynna is sitting at the bar this early evening, on the right side of it. There's an empty plate in front of her, and a half-empty glass of some soft drink beside it. She's in her dark-gray dress with green trims, with some compact kinetic barrier tech on it that's barely noticable.

Kanaya walks over to the new arrival once he's at the bar. "Welcome to Miner's Respite," she says with a smile. "What can I do for you?"

Adam smiles at Kanaya, inclining his head in a respectful nod. "Ma'am," he begins, stood ramrod straight. "I was wondering if you could help me find someone? He's staying here as a guest, I believe. Damien Monroe?"

Kanaya walks over to the nearest terminal, and looks up the guest list. "It's against our policy to give out information about our guests, or even say room numbers out loud," she says. "Are you a friend of his?"

Adam chuckles, scratching the back of his neck. "He's my brother," he clarifies. "He called me a few weeks ago asking for my help."

Kanaya hums. "Let's see," she says. "He's not made an order or been seen by VI in around six days, and was last seen leaving the building. That's as much information I can give you without checking the security feeds." She pauses. "His room is about to expire, as well."

Va'ynna looks towards the man speaking with the bartender, listening curiously.

Adam blinks, his brow creasing in a frown. "Six days?" He asks, worry evident in his tone. "You don't happen to have an inkling of where, do you?"

Kanaya looks over the profile one more time. "He has not made a call or otherwise mentioned he'll be checking out," she says. "I haven't had a chance to get to know most of our guests, though, him included. The profile our system builds is not very useful."

Adam sighs, glancing down to the side as he places his hands on his hips. "Crap," he mutters. Now what is he to do? Why would he be called to this backwater by his brother, only for him to just up and vanish? Something was amiss. He looks back up at Kanaya. "Can I see his room? There might be something to help me find out where he's gone."

Kanaya frowns. "I'm sorry," she says. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that. I'll have security look into it if checkout day comes around and we don't hear or see anything."

Adam sighs irritably, but nods. Can't fault the woman for doing her job after all. "Fair enough," he says. "If I leave you my number, can you give me a call if he turns up?'

Va'ynna looks up at him. "He... works for Redrock Agency," she says, "and... was with a collegue when I saw him last."

Kanaya nods. "I can give tt to him if I see him, yes," she says. "What's your name?"

Adam opens his mouth to answer Kanaya, but Va'ynna's interruption draws his attention. "Can you give me a name, miss...?" He asks.

Va'ynna hums thoughtfully. "You... should talk to the agency's leaders," she says, "when they get back from... their current mission. Their names are... Jason Wolfe and Ilyna T'Rea. At least they'll... help you look for him if they don't know."

Adam nods, smiling politely. "I thank you for you help, miss," he says, "Do you know when they're due to return? If it's offworld, I can meet them at the spaceport and get to finding Damien sooner rather than later."

Va'ynna shakes her head. "He... said it could take a few days, and they... left yesterday," she says. "I... don't know if Monroe... is on the mission, though."

Kanaya waits for him to send her his contact information.

Adam hums quietly in thought. "Is there anyone I could talk to from this agency that is still about?" He glances to his side and realises he's still not sent his contact information over. With an apologetic smile, he quickly sends the information over to Kanaya.

Va'ynna frowns. "There's... Tioran," she says, "but... she just recently signed up... and doesn't know anything about what's going on."

No one else?

Kanaya nods, and registers his contact information with the terminal's limited profile on him. "Thanks."

Va'ynna looks thoughtful for a moment. "Also someone named Thiago," she says. "He is... the tallest human I've ever seen. I... don't know where to find him, though."

Adam nods appreciatively. His best bet would be to talk to this Thiago it seems. Now just to find the bugger. "Alright, thank you."

Va'ynna gives a small smile. "It's... the least I could do," she says. "I... hope he's alright."

Adam smiles grimly, glancing to the side. 'I hope so too... He gets in enough trouble as it is."

He... and Jason argued about something, too, but... you'll have to talk to him about that.

Adam sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "He argued with his boss?" He asks. "Wonderful...".

Va'ynna nods. "I... think so," she says. "I don't know... what it was about, but... they started fighting. Jason.. might know more."

Adam nods again. "Okay. Speak to Thiago and then Jason Wolfe." This isn't exactly how he planned on his day going... "Thank you for your help... I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name?"

I'm Va'ynna, And... you are?

Adam bows his head slightly. "Adam Barclay. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Va'ynna."

Va'ynna nods. "Likewise," she says. "I'll... let Jason know as soon as I see him that you're... looking for Monroe."

Adam smirks. "If I don't see him beforehand, that'll be much appreciated."

Va'ynna drinks the remainder of her glass, and stands up. "I... should get back to work," she says, and starts walking around the bar. "I'll... see you again."

Adam nods. "And I suppose I better get my stuff moved in. See you around, miss." He walks back out of the Respite and off into Freedom Falls.

Va'ynna nods to him before heading through the door to the back.
