#Miner'sRespite – September 17, 2015

Va'ynna is sitting alone in a booth near the bar. She's in a dark-green t-shirt and simple black pands, the t-shirt having a few slight white stains. The asari is reading something off her omni-tool. It's late-afternoon, less than half an hour until food service opens, but she was fast enough in her preparations to earn a little break.

The abient inn noise is suddently interrupted by a small crash, and the sound of tumbling buckets from the janitorial closet, followed by a quarian curse. The door swings open and several cleaning instruments clatter out, landing on the floor, and in the doorway stands the Miner's Respite's one-woman-wonder clean-up crew. At least, that's what she liked to think. She looks around the

bar, her cheeks blushing furiously with embaressment. "S-Sorry." she squeaks as she begins picking up her equipment, mumbling under her breath.

Va'ynna is startled by the noise and slips out of the booth, her omni-tool's projection disappearing. She walks over to her in a brisk pace. "What... happened?" she asks, immediately crouching down to pick up a bucket. She starts putting various cleaning supplies into the bucket.

Shyva'Nahl blinks and looks up at Va'ynna, then goes right back to picking up the gear. "One of the b-broom hooks fell down and... caused a c-chain reaction until everything spilled." she mumbles, then sighs with frustration. "I had everything the way I l-liked it too... Its l-like... like a b-bad comedy vid," the quarian grumbles before standing up with two buckets, one in either hand.

"I'm g-going to need someone to r-reattach that hook. I'm n-no good with power tools." For now, she seems to just be putting everything randomly, but nothing's random with this quarian. Hard to tell though, most just think she's nuts. She stands back and looks around the closet. "T-There... I think..." and finally she looks back to Va'ynna. "Sorry a-about that, Va'ynna."

Kanaya glances towards the janitorial closet, but returns to serving the patron she was talking with.

Va'ynna hands her the bucket while the quarian is putting the stuff inside, not trusting herself with the ordered mess (or was it he opposite? She couldn't tell). "Accidents... happen," she says. "I... can tell Kanaya about it."

Shyva'Nahl takes the bucket and puts it down gently, then empties it to put the products where they belong. "T-That would be great." she mumbles, then closes the door. "T-That... That'll d-do for now. If I lose s-sleep over this, I w-will not be a h-happy bunny t-tomorrow." She frowns a little, then shrugs. "Or w-whatever the humans s-say. Their s-slang is... bizarre." Shyva rubs the front

of her blue visor, shaking a little as she does so. "B-Break time I t-think..." she turns to Va'ynna. "What're y-you up to?"

The two are near the bar, past the customer side of it, but with enough clearing from the drinks, stools and so on so that the accident wouldn't damage it. The closet, which is inside the staircase where it's tall enough, is barely big enough to house the needed supplies, as the housekeeping stuff that really takes up space is upstairs in a room beside the toilet.

Va'ynna glances at the booth where she sat, and raises an eyebrow. "I... wasn't doing anything," she says, glancing at her booth. "I'm having a... too short break to bother anyone else to come with me outside."

Shyva'Nahl nods and rubs her mask a little more. "Y-You want to head out?" she asks, pulling her hand away. "B-Because if you d-do, I could d-do with a walk. N-Need to... distract myself." She glances towards the doorway, then back to the Asari. "Unless I've m-misunderstood. I-It... happens more than I c-care to admit." Quite a few staff members knew she was prone to doing that on occassion.

Va'ynna nods, a small smile showing up. "I'd... like to," she says. "I think I have time to walk... around the block." She takes a step towards the bar. "I'll... need to put on a jacket, though, so... I'll meet you outside." With that, she starts walking towards the door to the staff-only area.

Shyva'Nahl looks herself over. "...well, I'm a-already wearing mine. A-Always." There's a small tone of frustration in the 'always' but otherwise she seems fairly jovial. She heads for the door, but stops and peers out the window to see if the coast is clear. Paranoid? You bet, but moreso she's careful. Very careful. She waits by the door for the asari, not wanting to venture out alone.

Not yet anyway.

Va'ynna arrives at the door out in a minute. She's wearing a navy blue winter coat with some golden patterns, buttoned up most of the way. It looks kind of excessive for the fall weather (currently 8C with mild winds). "I'm... ready to go."

Shyva'Nahl looks Va'ynna over, then reaches out to stroke the fabric near the collar. "T-That... is a r-really nice j-jacket. Where d-did you get it?" she asks as she opens the door for the asari.
