Ehanis arrives at the entrance to Sioria's place, and hits the doorbell on the interface. There is a frown on her expression, and she overall appear to be in a terrible mood. She is waring her long white coat with black buttons, and simple gray pants. There's a red purse slung over her shoulder. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria blinks as she peers over the couch inside her compound. "Hm." She murmers to herself. "Not expecting visitors..." She rolls off the couch and onto her feet, putting down a datapad, open on the renter's classified sections, and heads for the door. "Hey," she says through the intercom. "Who's-" She pauses when the interface loads up Ehanis' face. "Well, isn't this a welcome surprise.

Come on in, Ehanis." She buzzes the door to let her in. Sioria's wearing a set of baggy loungewear and a human-made tank top today, as it seems to be her day off.

Ehanis steps inside, walking a little unevenly as she locates the nearest chair or hook to hang her coat on. "Thanks," she says. A smile does creep up, however. "What kind of turian are you?" she asks. "You're not dressed like a firefight could break out at any moment." Her voice is a bit flat, making it unclear whether it's a joke or sincere criticism. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria looks down at her own attire and does a spin. "Ah, see, that's where you're wrong." she says with a grin. "Ultra tough high impact ballistic weave, with a small shield generator. I'm untouchable." she says, standing with her hands on her hips. "Or, y'know. Super comfortable. Either one, really." She leans against her kitchen counter and smiles at Ehanis. "Been a while, Ehanis.

Glad to finally see you again. How're you faring? You alright?"

Ehanis begins taking off her coat, showing the plain deep blue t-shirt beneath. "I'm fine," she says, considering the answer. "No, fuck, that's a lie. I hate having nothing to do, and that grenade I took to the ass still hurts if I trry do anything." She hangs it and the purse up and turns towards the kitchen. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria can't help but look a tad sympathetic. "They're taking that this hard, huh?" she asks, quietly. "What do they have you doing? Guard duty?" The turian crosses her arms and tilts her head. "Its not that bad. Maybe they're giving you time to fully recover or something."

Ehanis shakes her head. "If it was only that," she says. "I even miss babysitting that little worrywart." She starts walking over to the kitchen. "Doc's told me to lay off the booze while I recover too." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria winces. "Damn, that can't help." she says giving a small hiss. "So you're not assigned to anything, eh?" she asks. "Well, I've got the next few days off to find somewhere to live, and I could use the help. Might give us some time to think of something you could do."

Ehanis nods. "I only stay away from it because sis' got word of it, and she's kind of my boss," she says. "And Mi's too busy with militia stuff to convince me otherwise." She shrugs. "Anyway, yeah, I'll help you out where I can. My biotics don't hurt, and I could lighten up some of the heavy furniture." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria can't help but smile a little wider. "You're a life saver, E." she says, then moves to her couch and takes a seat. She beckons Ehanis over to sit with her. "Extra training couldn't help," she muses, putting her feet up. "Hone your skills for when you're fully recovered. Even if it is just shootin', y'know?"

Ehanis walks over and drops down into the couch with the grace of a krogan, wincing a bit as that sends a shooting pain through her lower back. "I could use that, of course," she says, "but I need to move. Redrock's got a sweet training room at their place, but sis would probably drag me out of there by the crests if they spotted me going there." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria hums as she idly puts an arm around Ehanis's shoulders. "Maybe I could help you out there. Do some external agility stuff." she explains with a small smile. "I've been trying to get used to running in heavier armour recently. That stuff's tough, man, but with a bit of help of the owners and a for a few creds, I've set up a small obstacle course in the junk yard down south. If you

want to get moving, that'd be the place to do it."

Ehanis hums. "I think sis would notice if she saw me walking around like... yeah," she says, "but if it's still there when I'm fine, then hell yes. It's getting a bit... cold outside, though." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria chuckles. "Then wear a sweater." she says, simply. "Anyway, that's the good thing about junk yard obstacle courses. As stuff's broken down, the course changes. I never do the same run more than twice at the moment." She smiles and gives Ehanis' shoulder a small squeeze. "Y'know, it really is good to have you back, Ehanis. I missed you."

Ehanis gives a faint smile. "Yeah, or armor like you do," she says. "I don't think my biotics will help me much with it, though, so I can't cheat." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria "Not cheating if its not a competition." Sioria says, "Do what you can to help you get the mission done, right?" She asks, noting Ehanis not paying much mind to that last bit. "If its a race, well... I'll just have to tackle you and take you down when I get the chance, won't I?"

Ehanis tilts her head. "That's kind of dirty," she says. "I like it. Just don't blame me when I follow that up with a biotic throw." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria "Hey, using your powers to get the advantage is dirty." Sioria says, giving Ehanis a small squeeze once again. "And to be perfectly honest, a biotic throw sounds like fun. Well, until I hit something..."

Redrock's benefits cover training too, right? (Va`ynna_Atana)

Ehanis doesn't sound too serious. "Could be worse," she says. "I could have Mi' teach me the whole zooming between rooftops and giving biotic gut punches. That'll just take twenty years." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria smirks. "Just twenty years, she says." Siora murmers with a light chuckle. "As for training, yep. Just enrolled in training, myself. Trying to brush up on my CQC and riot tactics, just in case. Marksmen aren't as useful in tight spots as CQC fighters are."

Ehanis nods. "Don't think Redrock does a lot of assassinations and defenseive missions," she says. "I don't think I'll join you for that, though. As much fun as it sounds like, I'm best at mid-range." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria "Good, more jobs for me." Sioria says with a light hearted laugh. "I'm sure when you're all healed up, they'll be cool with training you to do whatever you want to do. The more skills we have, the more effective we are, right?" she asks. "Now. Enough business. What've you been up to since you got back?"

Ehanis sighs. "Going back to that depressing topic, are we?" she says. "First babysitting Li, then a lot of nothing." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria "And you didn't come see me earlier? We could have made that nothing a whole lotta something." Sioria says with a grin. "And its not too late. What're friends for if not for beating the boredom, eh?"

Ehanis shrugs. "'Lyna's only been back for two days," she says. "I always exaggerate crap when I'm having a bad day." A sheepish smile shows up for a fraction of a second. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria smirks and gives her chin a friendly tap. "That's alright. Just means the fun starts now. What would you like to do to get your mind off things?" Sioria asks. "Finding an apartment can wait until tomorrow. I see a friend in need of some fun!"

Ehanis raises an eyebrow. "Well, we could always go shooting again, or watch a stupid vid." she says. "Whatever my stupid injury permits." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria can't help but smirk. "y'know, a stupid vid actually sounds pretty good right about now." she says as she stretches out. This seemed to be Sioria in full relax mode, something not often seen. "We can order in, rent a classic, catch up, talk about secret crushes or whatever us girls talk about late into the night. Hell you can even stay here overnight if you want, there's plenty

of beds available." Then she winks. "Or mine, I won't complain."

Ehanis let's out a short giggle. "Crushes, huh?" she says. "That's... well, that was a simpler time, before Omega's permafrost got to my heart." She shrugs. "But yeah, I'm fine with that." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria grins and claps her hands. "Right. Its settled." she says "Dinner. Movie. Lets get you out of that funk, eh? Maybe warm that iced up heart too." She stands up and moves to a small shelving unit and pulls open a drawer. The thing is almost packed to the brim with take out menus. "Er... Huh. I don't remember half of these."

Ehanis tilts her head. "Yeah, living in the city sure is nice," she says. "I borrowed Ilyna's place when watching the kid. The choice here is different from the one never open diner over in Erantha."

<-^ (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria pulls out a fat stack of different take out menus. Some for the same places, but a different design. How long have some of these menus been sitting in that drawer? She dumps them on the couch. "We definitely are spoilt for choice..." Sioria says, rubbing her chin. "Y'know, if you want to move to the city, I could do with a roommate. I dunno how well I'd do cooped up in a tiny one

bedroom place."

Ehanis shrugs. "I'm not saying Erantha is all bad," she says, "and well, then there's Mian. She might kill you, or worse, move in with us." It's clear the asari is joking, mostly. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria hums. "Well, I'm not to keen on dying." she says, pretending to think deeply. "A three bedroom place, rent split three ways... That's not that bad. I still think two is the perfect living number though. Perfectly even, means nobody can take sides and be outnumbered in a squabble." she says, then smirks. "And I'm sure any fights between the two of us could be sorted out through a

fair sparring match, eh?"

Ehanis gives a mock thoughtful hum. "Dirty fighting allowed?" she asks. "And, uh... loser pays for property damage?" She smirks. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria smirks. "Dirty as in cheating, no. Dirty as in naked? Debatable." she says with a chuckle. "And I'm sure we'd take it outside or to a gym. Somewhere where we don't have to pay, that'd just start another round."

Ehanis giggles. "That's no fair, you got dagger-sharp claws and armor even if you fight in the nude," she says. "I think biotics would even the odds." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria strokes her chin. "I'll wear gloves." she says. "And you can only use enough biotics to make it a fair fight. No more. Fair?" she asks with a wide smile. "Thick gloves. No claws."

Ehanis nods. "Deal," she says. "Wait, how do we judge how much biotics makes it fair?" (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria gives that one a bit more thought. "I guess use it to hit me until I figure its fair." she says with a shrug. "I'm sure there are a ton of scientific ways to guage it, but I'm sure that'll just raise eyebrows in the wrong places."

Ehanis smirks. "I'l start from the top and work my way down then," she jokes. "We might have to wait for broken bones and such to heal between each... experiment, though." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria winces a little and looks herself over. "Here's an idea. Lets NOT do that." she says. "I hear healing broken bones is overrated." She sits herself back down next to Ehanis. "I don't think I've ever seen you even use your biotics before."

Ehanis smiles. "That's a good thing, considering my situation," she says. "I'll be lucky if I ever get another decent assignment, let alone one where you're going too." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria wraps an arm around Ehanis and pulls her in close, gently. "Hey, don't talk like that. Heal up, do some additional training, get faster and stronger. Concentrate on them, then try to get on a mission after." She gives her a reassuring smile. "You messed up once, we all do. Only thing you can do is try harder to not make those mistakes again." She can't help but roll her eyes.

"Look at me, trying to be a motivational speaker. I'm probably the least qualified, sometimes I'll watch a stupid soap opera because I can't reach the remote."

Ehanis sighs. "I am good at what I do," she says. "It's my sister that's the problem. She was bad enough before she was thrown headfirst into the next life stage." She then raises her left hand as a faint shimmer forms around it. "Well, I don't think I've met any asari that don't know enough telekinesis to not have to stand up to get something out of arm's reach." The shimmer soon dissipates again. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria waggles her free hand. "Yes, well, us turians aren't blessed with biotics. Not on average, anyway." she says with a resigned sigh. "As for being good, why not be the best? Can't hurt. Er... much." she says, a little awkwardly. "Anyway, that's the problem with working with family, I found. I once served under my parents. I spent the first three years with Tauros guarding the main

base. Do you know what the most secure thing Tauros was tasked with defending?" she sighs once again. "The main base. Didn't see action until my fourth year."

Ehanis nods. "Well, turian biotics are treated like crap too, so they probably don't use it on trivial stuff," she says. "Actually, I think I would have more freedom if I worked under my mother. Fuck, she even let me go to Omega at fifty-eight. Ilyna would have been... glowing white with anger if she knew at the time." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria can't help but smirk and give an amused huff at Ilyna glowing white. "Point is, I think my parents and your sister aren't dissimilar. Either way, the only way I was able to do anything with any risk at all was because I ended up proving myself. That's the only solid advice I can give, I think."

I guess you're right. (Va`ynna_Atana)

Ehanis smiles. "Things aren't the greatest between me and her right now, though, so proving myself will have to be long term." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria gives her a grin and a reassuring squeeze. "That's the spirit. Focus on healing up, prove yourself when things are better." she says, happily. "Is there anything I can do to help in the mean time?"

Ehanis shrugs. "Nah, just let me deal with my problems," she says. "Being with people, drinking, fighting, having fun... that stuff keeps them out of my mind. I like that, but my sister just can't leave it be. She has it tough, of course, that doesn't mean she's qualified to fix everyone else's problems." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria looks over the couch at the door and then back to Ehanis. "Well. Door's locked. Nobody knows your here, unless you told 'em. Who says you can't have a drink?" She asks with a smirk. "I'm sure one will be safe, right? Does it mess with any meds the doctors gave you?"

Ehanis shakes her head. "Only the painkillers, but I haven't taken any today," she says. "I think it's more to do with the risk of reinjury, and... the docs not wanting to be sued." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria sinks into the couch just a little more. "Mmmmhm. So no real risk as long as you don't go crazy and dance on the table, right?" she asks. "Because I've got a few human beers in the fridge. Got them when I heard you were on the way back, to celebrate."

Ehanis giggles. "Let's hope it doesn't come to that, but do restrain me if it does," she says, then reaches for a few of the menus, using her biotics if she has to. "That's enough real talk for today, let's worry about the really important things instead: what to watch, and what to eat." (Va`ynna_Atana)

Sioria grins and gives an excited chuckle. "I vote something greasy, unhealthy, and will ultimately be our downfall. As for food... same thing, really." She says with a hearty laugh.
