Yan Sun is sitting by the laptop that she has set up on the desk. Cables run from the computer to a small metal brick that pulsates with a faint blue light. She seems quite absorbed by the antique code scrolling past on the screen projected between the two emitters of the laptop. Her head is resting on her knees as she reads, one arm wrapped around her legs and the other manipulating the haptic interface. She stops for a

moment, letting out a faint sigh as she glances towards the window, watching the snow fall past on its way towards the ground.

Jessica steps out from the washroom, towel draped over her head as she rubs it back and forth to wipe away at the water from her shower. She places it over Yan Sun's head as she walks by on her way to the dresser to get a clean shirt. "Still staring in to that thing, mmm?" she asks as she begins to slip on a white tanktop. "I am going out for a few hours." she adds as she continues to dress. A comment Yan Sun has probably gotten

used to hearing by now. "Maybe I will pick up some food on my way back, mmm?" she offers.

Yan Sun flinches a little as darkness covers her vision. She allows her feet to slip down to the floor as she reaches up to pull the towel off, looking back at Jessica, one arm going over the back of her chair as she turns, eyebrows furrowing. "You just woke up. Where are you going?"

Jessica begins tugging her pants on. A pair of brown cargo pants. Beat up and well worn, like much of her clothing outside of what she has bought since their arrival in Freedom Falls. "Out." she says pointedly before casting a frown in Yan Sun's direction. "Oh. I'm sorry. Am I not allowed to go out without your permission? Mmm?" she asks sarcastically with a roll of her eyes as she begins to fish a long sleeved shirt to put on

over her tanktop.

Yan Sun raises one of her eyebrows. "Uhm... yeah, 没有狗屎. But where? You haven't really been around a lot since you came back. When you're not working or sleeping you keep going out on your own. Not exactly what I had in mind when I was waiting for you to come back from the mission." she says with a shrug, still looking over the back of the chair at Jessica.

Jessica's frown deepens. Especially as she assumes whatever her translator didn't pick up was most likely insulting. "Who are you calling-.... whatever it was you were calling me, mmm!?" she says just as she gets her hands through the arms of her shirt, leaving her in an awkward arms-in-head-out state. "What are you-... Is this-..." she begins before trailing off and giving another roll of her eyes. "Ohhhhh. I get it, kitty

cat." she says as she steps over towards the desk, lifting one leg to sit on the edge of it as she decides against dealing with the long-sleeved shirt for now and shrugs it off, letting it fall to the floor. "You are jealous." she continues confidently with a bit of a condescending snicker. "Of alllll of the other men and women I am out there fucking, mmm?" She gives a cocky grin as she slides across the desk,

nudging the laptop out of the way as she scoots to sit in front of Yan Sun. "That is it, no? Don't worry, kitty cat. When it comes to fucking, I have a large enough appetite for more than just you and I promise-..." she leans forward, lowering her voice to a whisper as she speaks into Yan Sun's ear,"...I will always come home hungry." She leans back, resting her hands against the desk as she brings her foot up and onto

Yan Sun's knee, giving no clue as to whether she's being serious or just fucking with her as she looks down at the woman with an annoying smirk.

Yan Sun furrows her eyebrows, looking a little annoyed at first as she has no idea where Jessica is going with this, but it soon gives way to an uncertain expression as she continues. "What are you-... what?" She goes quiet for a moment, looking up at the woman sitting on her desk. She looks both a little hurt and disgusted, but above all confused. "If... if this is your idea of a joke it's not funny!" she blurts out, her

frown returning as she nudges Jessica's foot off her knee, frustration mixing with the uncertainty as her gaze darts away before looking back at her.

Jessica gives a mock look of confusion, as if she's unsure of what Yan Sun might be upset about. "What is the matter, kitty cat? Mmm?" she asks, reaching out to place her right hand on Yan Sun's left cheek to hold her gaze. "Is that not what-.... Ohhhh." she continues, giving a loud chuckle as her shoulders rise and fall as if she just realized something. "Did you think-... You are forgetting, kitty cat." Her good eye moves back

and forth, searching from Yan Sun's left eye to her right, "You are mine, mmm? Not the other way around." she says in a whisper once again. She leans in, seemingly aiming to plant a big kiss against Yan Sun's lips.

Yan Sun 's gaze breaks away a few times, trying to avoid Jessica's face, but it inevitably comes back. The frustration fades, uncertainty taking over as the scarred woman leans in closer. It's clear to see in her asymmetrical eyes that she's hurt, and as Jessica closes in for the kiss she frowns again, turning her head to the side to avoid the kiss. She doesn't say anything as she stares at the wall she ends up looking at.

Jessica snickers once again as Yan Sun turns away from the kiss, but presses her lips against the woman's cheek anyway before she leans back. "You are no fun, kitty cat." she pouts playfully before swinging her legs off the desk. When it seems that Yan Sun is just going to stare at a wall, she sighs loudly and leans down to scoop her shirt up off the floor. "For fuck's sake... Just get dressed." she orders. "I am going to a place

not too far. Is called 'Club Cobalt'. I am already late so I don't have time for this fucking shit right now." she continues as she begins to pull her shirt on once again. "You don't want to trust me? You think you have to worry that I am-... am-... fucking everyone? Is fine. Whaaaatever. Meet me down there, mmm? I am sure you can figure out where it is."

Yan Sun looks back at Jessica once she stands up again, her expression mixed. She seems at first like she's going to say something more confrontational, but instead she asks: "What do you mean late?" some frustration creeping into her voice even as her eye lights up, darting around as she starts saving the work she was doing on the laptop and shutting programs down.

Jessica gives a frustrated grunt as she quickly slips into her sneakers and reaches for her jacket. "You know. Late. Like-... not there when I should be there, mmm? Is not a confusing concept, kitty cat." she says plainly before turning back to face Yan Sun. "Now are you going to meet me there or are you going to sit there making that dumb face you keep making? Mmmm? Because if he leaves before I get there because you just keep

on rawrawrawrawring-..." she opens and closes her right hand over and over, holding it up to her ear, "...at me, I am going to kick your ass. And not in the fun way!"

Yan Sun 's frown remains at the lack of explanation, but she flips the laptop closed and leaves her chair, grabbing her puffy blue jacket from a hook near the door and slipping it on. She doesn't say anything, obviously still bothered by Jessica's behavior, but deciding to come along instead of arguing.

Jessica lets out a frustrated sigh as she opens the door. "What is your problem, mmm?" she asks. Seemingly oblivious to why Yan Sun would be upset. "You want to know where I am going. I am showing you where I am going. And still you are not happy?"

Yan Sun lets out a quiet sigh, grabbing her beanie before following Jessica out the door. She offers no immediate response.

Jessica grabs her beat up old cap and adjusts it for a moment before placing it on her head and stepping through the open door with Yan Sun in tow. "So now you play the quiet game, mmm? Fine. I can do that, too." she says dismissively as she starts down the hall.
