#SioriaApartment – January 8, 2017
Ehanis gives a deep disappointed sigh at the turian's composed reaction. She does wrap an arm around the turian's neck, and moves to sit on the turian's lap. What she does implies heavily that the asari is on board with this, but.... "Nah, don't think rolling around naked is a good idea," she says, matter of factly. "The hospital staff doesn't miss me that much."
Sioria wraps an arm around Ehanis's waist as she climbs onto her lap, but her smile fades. "Yeah, figured as much." she says, but doesn't shift her off just yet. "But hey, its still a confidence boost if I ever heard one." She leans back against the couch, her hand moving up and down Ehanis' back. "Its still nice to get this far. Gotta admit, I was a bit concerned. I thought maybe it
Ehanis gives a slight smile. "Just don't look too far into it," she says. "Relationship nonsense, love – that's matron stuff." Not everyone saw it like this, of course, asari and alien alike. She rests her head on top of the turian's shoulder, facing towards her neck.
Sioria can't help but enjoy the feeling of Ehanis being close to her, even if it was only physical. "Yeah, I know." she says, only a little disapointed. "I know that's not your game, I've tried otherwise, remember?" She twists and shifts a little to help Ehanis be a little more comfortable. It was obvious she still had feelings for the Asari, but she had enough respect and understanding
that she wasn't about to press the issue. "I do gotta ask though... are we best friends with benefits now, or something?"
Ehanis gives an indifferent hum, and she brings up her right hand to trace the patters on the turian's neck – the weak point in her exoskeleton. "I remember," she says. "Just... friends will do, I don't distinguish. Besides, being a friend of mine isn't high praise in the slightest."
Sioria shifts a little, but doesn't make it any evident that she's made just a little uncomfortable by that. Was she sleeping around? It wasn't any of Sioria's business, of course, so she doesn't ask. She doesn't seem to react to Ehanis touching her neck though, a strong indication of trust to say the least. "Fine then, friend." she says, reaching up to trace the length of one of
Ehanis gives a smirk, shifting her head slightly closer. "If I like them enough," she answers. She gives a content sigh when her headcrest is touched, trusting the turian enough to not leave a bloody trail. "I don't always make the right calls, though, but it hasn't killed me... yet."
Sioria reaches up with her free hand to gently caress her chin. Good thing for Ehanis, Sioria has complete control over her talons and makes a very careful effort not to nick her. "Trust me, hot stuff," she says, her eyes shifting between Ehanis's eyes and her lips. "You're making the right call." She leans in and kisses the Asari on the lips, gently at first, as if she's waiting to
Ehanis leans into it in turn and kisses her, wanting to avoid the awkward and amusing thing that was a kiss on the cheek from a turian. She pulls back from the kiss with a brief smile. "Now that you're sober, yeah," she says as she returns hear head to the former position by the turian's neck. "So, why do you like me?"
Sioria can't help but feel the overwhelming feeling of satisfaction and joy from the kiss, in fact she practically melts into the couch during and even a little after. She releases a small, satisfied sigh before considering that big question, her hand still stroking down the length of her curls. "Well, you don't take shit from anyone." she says, simply. "You're tough, rebellious even.
I like it." Her other hand travels down her spine, careful not to snag her shirt. "Plus you put up with my antics and are fun to hang around with." That hand continues down her spine until it lands on her rump. "Not to mention you're sexy as hell." A grin spreads across the Turian's face.
Ehanis gives a deep sigh as the turian piles on the praise. Disbelief, maybe? Or was there something else? Ehanis doesn't communicate it clearly. She does shift closer to her neck, her face touching it even, but she doesn't kiss it. If the asari was uncomfortable with the turian's hand going down her back, and to the lowest back, she wasn't showing it. She doesn't put any words to her thoughts, however, and the
Sioria sits in the silence for a few seconds as she strokes up and down Ehanis' back, her mind going into overdrive. What was that sigh? Was it good? Was it bad? Damn it, woman! Why would you do this? The way her eyeridges twitched slightly between relaxed and in deep thought betrays the steely, calm demeanor she was putting on, but she doesn't say anything, lest she say the wrong
thing. What a pickle... "So..." she finally says. "What do you wanna do tonight? Movie? I hear the new Blasto is being shown on channel 241." Yeah, real smooth, Sioria. Real smooth. She mentally facepalms, knowing she could have said something else.
Ehanis gives a faint affirmative hum, and shifts her head back as to not speak right into the turian's neck. "Yeah, sure," she mutters without lifting her head, her tone even and devoid of emotion. She failts to notice the turian's twitching eyeridges, but the akward change of topic is enough to betray it to the asari. Her own brows raise for a moment and she opens her mouth a little, but she doesn't say
Sioria looks around briefly before shifting, reaching under herself to find the Tv's remote. "Ah. Tricky little bugger, always trying to steal my seat." she murmers to the object, and flicks the TV on. It seems they're still a little early for the movie, so she shifts again, looking into Ehanis' eyes. "You uh... wanted to say something? I think I interupted." she says, noticing that
Ehanis sighs, and lifts her right shoulder in a shrug. Her hand around the turian's neck tightens as the search for the remote happens underneath her. "Nah," she says, averting her eyes. "It's nothing. I'm fine." She gives her a quick kiss on the neck.
Sioria practically melts a the small kiss, but shifts once again as her mind comes to once again. "Alright... well..." she begins. "Look, I'm not gonna try beat it outta ya, but I just want to know you can tell me anything." she says, leaning back once again, as if she's dropping it. "I'm all ears, gorgeous, and whatever you tell me stays here." she points down at the couch, her other
Ehanis loosens her arm around the turian's neck, though that could be because the remote control is secure and the turian isnt's shifting around. "I have nothing to tell you," she says without lifting her head or looking at the turian, frustration seeping into her tone.
Sioria nods, hearing the tone loud and clear. Instead, she shifts one last time to get comfy and turns the volume up on the TV as the movie behins. She knew when to drop a subject, and as long as Ehanis knows that the trust is there, that's more than good enough for Sioria. Her hand moves from her hip to the top of her head to gently stroke down the length of her head crests once
again. "If this runs late, you're welcome to stay." she says after a few moment's silence. "I could take the couch. My bed's more than comfy, shouldn't be rough on your shoulder."
Ehanis gives an affirming hum, planting another quick kiss on the turian's neck. "Maybe I'll take you up on that," she says, "and maybe I don't need it for myself." She shifts around slightly to make herself more comfortable while being able to watch the movie, her crests propping her head up on the ridges of the turian's shoulder. While she was quick to reject emotional closeness, the asari seems incredibly
Sioria feels that warm feeling of satisfaction again, knowing she hadn't ruined the whole evening with that one comment. "Is that so?" she asks, tracing over the small natrual bumps and discoloured spots in Ehanis' crests. "Just a word of warning, I don't wear pyjamas." she says, followed by a wink. "But something tells me I won't be cold tonight." She can't help but let out a content
Ehanis lets out a giggle and winks in return. "Just don't blame me if I keep waking you up," she says, "because I left my painkillers at home." She wasn't visbily tired right now, so it must have meant she's gotten enough sleep at the hospital. It's not a whole lot else she could have done there between the visitors, though. She turned her head slightly to foucs on the screen ahead of her, trying to pay some
Sioria snaps her fingers on her free hand and tuts loudly. "I knew I forgot to pick something up." she says. "Levo food, levo drinks, but no levo medicine." She looks to Ehanis briefly once again. "I doubt Dextro painkillers are going to go down well, are they..." she muses before looking back at the TV. Ah Blasto, how she loved this movie series. So stupid, but the action scenes were
Ehanis grimaces and shakes her head, as if she knew exactly what would happen from personal experience. "Not worth taking my chances with that," she says. She didn't take her eyes off the screen while speaking, however. "Stupid purple blobs," she mutters at the sight of the hero. Ehanis had no issues with Blasto, finding the absurdity of it amusing, but she had her reasons to dislike the hanar species.
Sioria slowly shakes her head with a small sigh. "Yeah, I figured..." she says quietly. "Ah well, if it gets bad, just wake me up. Oh, and I've been known to sleep cuddle, so just shove me if that happens." She adds a small giggle to the end there. It was the truth afterall, she'd woken up cuddling one of her pillows once or twice. She goes back to watching the movie, then raises an
eyebrow at her small comment. "Don't like Blasto?" she asks. "Well if that doesn't give me doubts, I dunno what will." she says, feigning insult
Ehanis snorts. "Blasto's fucking ridicolous," she begins, "but that's what makes it great. Just like that costume party." She still watches the screen while she speaks. "Our last job was for a backstabbing hanar," she says, the disgust clear in her voice. "At least he got what was coming for him."
Sioria gives one big confident nod. "There we go. We can still be friends." she says. "The rediculousness is why I love it. Its so stupid that you don't need to pay much attention, just watch for the explosions." She pokes Ehanis in the belly briefly. "And you need to show me that costume still." the Turian says with a grin. "Or y'know. Model it for me. I won't complain." She settles
back to continue watching. "Backstabbing Hanar, eh? One of the many missions I don't know about, I bet. I guess he got popped?"
Ehanis grins. "Yeah, yeah," she says to the bit about the costume. "Remind me to bring it the next time I come over." She frowns as the Hanar is brought up, and sighs. "Someone else got to him first," she says. "Fucked his truck up badly, and all we saw of him was purple gunk seeping out of the leaking tank." There was no sympathy from Ehanis, so her contempt for that hanar must be incredibly strong.
Sioria grimaces and lets out a little. "Euch." she murmers, a little uncomfortable with that image. "I want to feel sorry for 'im, but I mean, if he betrayed Redrock... well, fuck him." she says, still gently stroking her friend's head crests. "As for the outfit, you bet I will. I ain't gonna let up until I see it." she says with a devious grin. She looks back to the movie and grins
a little wider as one of the more special effects heavy scenes come up. "I still think its rediculous how they shoe-horned in that whole forced romance thing between Blasto and whatsername." she clicks her fingers at the screen, forgetting her name. It seemed to be a common occurance amongst Blasto fans.
Ehanis nods. "Not only that, but he almost killed a defenceless civilian," she says before a snort leaves her as she anticipates a question, "no, not himself, but he gave the order." She mentions nothing of the costume or the movie scene, though the latter raised an eyebrow.
Sioria tuts lightly. "I think it would be a better movie without it." She mutters, still on the subject of the pretty cruddy romance arc of the movie. She shakes her head again and clears her throat before changing the subject. "And then he deserves to rot in hell, doesn't he?" she says with a confident tone. "Bastard... who goes after civilians... ugh."
Ehanis nods again. "It was over the artifact we dug up," she says. "He wanted to keep it himself, but something about it made that illegal." Ehanis wasn't there during the argument, but she did overhear it though many of the exact details are fuzzy to her. "Me and Wolfe stabilized her, but she was out of it for the entire mission after that," she says. "For a civilian, she wasn't lacking a spine."
