Ehanis wakes up for the fifth time this night, and grabs her pained shoulder with a groan. She looks at the daylight shining into the window outside, and sighs. Tired and miserable as she might look, she was simply sick of sleeping at this point. She carefully sits up, letting the blanket fall to her lap, exposing her bare chest. She had not changed her mind about doing more than sharing a bed with the turian, but

she had slept in the nude except for her underpants.

The room is a decent size, fairly average. There's a wall-to-wall wardrobe along one wall, and a double bed up against the opposite one. On the wall opposite to the door, there's a long sliding door window that goes out onto a very snowy balcony. It looks like Sioria hasn't used it yet.

Sioria snorts and shifts, pulling her arm away from Ehanis' waist, her eyes bleary and blinking at the crack in the blinds. "I'm up... I'm up..." she mutters, stretching her legs out under the covers, lifting them slightly, and follows suit with her arms. "...I'm not up." She slumps back onto the bed and sighs, and a few seconds later she opens her eyes again. "Morning, gorgeous."

she finally says, taking in the sight. She herself was naked under the covers, knowing Ehanis probably wouldn't mind. The Turian sucks in a long yawn before sitting up. "Glad to see you're still here." she adds with a chuckle.

Ehanis gives a weary smile. "Morning," she mumbles as she looks over at the turian, not turning away like she's done before when waking up beside her. "Where else," she yawns, "would I go?"

Sioria reaches over to run a warm hand down her back. "Home, I guess." she says, leaning in slightly. "Remember, I caught you tryin' to sneak away last time?" She doesn't seem upset by it, amused even. "I prefer this. Its nice to wake up next to a beautiful woman. Even if I did it... what, five times last night?" The Turian smirks before swinging her legs over the side of the bed and

out of the covers. She freezes, then pulls herself under the blankets again. "Cold. So cold. Holy crap its cold."

Ehanis smirks, doing her best to ignore the cold for the time being, though a shiver does eventually show up. "Yeah, yeah," she says with a dismissive wave of her hand. "You really are something else, Sioria. Not many will put up with my crap for this long." She reaches out with her biotics and telekinetically grabs her orange crop top off the floor. "I'm starting to wonder if I should go home soon anyway," she

says. "Doubt this is appropriate for a serious meeting with Wolfe."

Sioria lays back in bed with her hands behind her head. "You're worth it, Blue." she says with a warm smile. She cant help but reach over again and run her hand down her back, slowly. "Aw, there goes me thinking we could spend the day in this nice warm bed. Ah well." She says with a slight hint of disapointment. "Guess I shouldn't waste a day off in bed, eh? Anyway, you got a meeting

with Wolfe? Can I ask what about?"

Ehanis gives a slight shrug as she starts collecting other pieces of clothing using biotic laziness, though the talon behind her back does evoke a shudder. She snorts at the question about lazing around in bed all day "Where is the fun in that?" she asks. "Anyway, yeah, the meeting. It's about the last job on Rakhana. Me, Ten and Briggs didn't follow orders and fucked up."

Sioria smirks at the woman. That was a loaded question if she ever heard one. "We both know where the fun is in that." she says before pulling the covers off again. She literally rolls out of bed and just before she rolls right off the edge, she catches herself with her feet on the ground. She stands up and shivers in all her naked glory. "Damnit... I need a heater." she muses as she

heads to the wardrobe. She opens one of them and... its practically empty, save for a few articles. She quickly grabs out some undies and a pair of baggy work-out pants and slips them on. "Why'd you disobey orders?" she asks as she pulls the pants up, then grabs a hoodie. "Doesn't seem wise."

Ehanis stops to watch the turian pick out clothes from the wardrobe. "They were stupid orders, betting everything on shitty odds," she says. The asari tosses the blankets aside and moves to sit up, but she decides against it an instead lies down on her stomach, folded arms propping her head up. "We knew that some locals had been scoping out us for a hit, so Briggs suggested we make a trade for a vehicle or take it

by force if that didn't go to plan. I thought we had the advantage, but... no, they were ready for us." She sighs. "They captured Briggs, but me and Ten, we wouldn't have lasted another minute out there. So, yeah, we fled."

Sioria hums as she pulls the hoodie over her head, then down over her torso. The show's over, ladies. She walks over and sits on the side of the bed, next to Ehanis, and thinks about that for a second. "Didn't think the bosses would be bad tacticians." she says. "I guess we all make mistakes. Everyone made it out in the end, right? Did you guys complete the ultimate objective?" she

asks, laying down on her back. The bed was still warm under her, and it was warming the hoodie up nicely.

Ehanis rolls around as her lying position slowly but surely put pressure on her shoulder, and she stretches with a yan. She then sits up again. "Yeah, we did," she says. "They were lucky and the helpful local's lead got them to a crashed ship. Me and Ten got there after what felt like fucking forever walking through that maze. I told Ten to stay in contact, but did he listen?" Ehanis sighs and shakes her head.

"When I finally caught up and got in radio range, he was running away from Rakhana Maw Two."

Sioria shakes her head as she listens, watching the Asari closely. "Sounds like a cluster fuck from the get-go. Think it would have been different if you'd followed orders?" she asks, her hands deep in her hoodie's pockets. "I mean, it seems the bad guys held all the cards and you were left with only the three of hearts. Hardly a fair fight." She shuffles a little over and props her

head up on Ehanis' lap. "What do you even do in odds like that? Tac-retreat's the only option."

Ehanis frowns, and looks down at the turian's eyes. "That was after our employers had betrayed us and fucked off with the only working truck," she says. "Yep, it would have gone so much better. Briggs wouldn't be pissed, and me and Ten would be with the others at the ship." She reaches for her bra and starts putting it on. "Easy to say now, though."

Sioria takes one last look at the beautiful breasts in front of her and looks back into Ehanis' eyes. "I could see why Wolfe would be pissed, but under the circumstances, I reckon he'd see that there's nothing more you guys could'a done without dying." she says, hands still in her pockets. "I mean c'mon, as soon as you've got a knife in your back, the whole OP goes outta whack. I bet

you'll make it through." she says, then smiles. "Look, how about we grab dinner tonight? Celebration if the meeting goes well, a pick-me-up if it doesn't. My treat. You have no idea how much I'm saving from renting this cupboard of an apartment."

Ehanis pull her top over her head, being very careful and focused when pushing the left arm through. "It's going to go well," she says, not sounding all that convincing. "Wolfe's not happy about it at all, but Ten's already hogged all the blame for himself." She shifts backwards and tosses her legs to the side when there's no risk of kicking the turian in the head, and hops off the bed. "Mind helping me with this?"

She steps into her jeans and starts pulling them on with her right hand, but it's quite the tight fit and thus troublesome without both hands. Ehanis fails to address the dinner invitation directly, however.

Sioria rolls off the bed once again and grabs both sides of Ehanis's jeans, and pulls them up, gently at first so she could get a feel for it, then a bit harder to get them up fully. She didn't seem to mind helping her with it, possibly due to being so very close to feeling her up. Or, y'know, because she's helping a friend. "Well, I doubt you're gonna get off scott-free, even if

Nathan is taking the blame. Prep for that, gorgeous." she says as she lets go of the pants. She does consider asking about dinner again, but she knew Ehanis wasn't deaf. If she didn't want to answer, she didn't want to answer. "Just, y'know, keep your cool, should go smoothly."

Ehanis smirks as she gets the pants on with the turian's help. Ehanis has time and time again proven to not be shy about physical contact, so why would this be different? "Thanks," she says. "Eh, Wolfe won't fire me. 'Lyna wouldn't want me working for anyone else."

Sioria slaps Ehanis on the rump with a grin. "That's the attitude." she says before chuckling. She turns and walks around to her primary side of the bed and shuffles into a pair of slippers, then heads towards the door into the apartment proper. "Breakfast? I've got, uh... fruit I guess? Still got that pie." she says as she walks to the kitchen. "Say, who WOULD you work for if you

didn't have Redrock?" she calls out.

Ehanis nods and follows the turian out of the room, hoping the rest of the apartment doesn't cause the need for her to go back for her fleeze jacket and socks. She nods at the mention of breakfast, after both suggestions. "I'll find something," she says. "I know a few people in the militia. The pay there sucks, but at least it's something while I look for work." She slumps down in the couch with a sigh. "I'm not

picky, though. I'll even serve drinks or dance if it puts food on the table and a roof over my head."

Sioria shuts the fridge and heads for the couch, which she practically leaps into, an apple in one hand and a Turian fruit in the other. She hands the former to Ehanis, of course. "I doubt you'd have to wait tables or dance." she says before biting into the fruit. "I'd rather you moved in here before doing that. As for rent, well, maybe you won't get away from dancing, eh?" she asks

with a waggle of her eye-ridges. "Whatever the case, i'm here for ya. What're friends for? Suppotin' each other, that's what." She crosses one leg over the other and slings an arm over Ehanis's shoulders. "There's room enough for two here, apparently."

Ehanis takes the apple and turns it over in her hand. "Won't come to that anyway," she says with a sigh. "Redrock's not going to fire me, and Mi's going to have to cover the rent for a few months if it actually happens." She takes a bite of the apple, savouring the taste of the alien fruit.

Sioria shrugs lightly as she takes another bite. "Alright, no worries then." she says. At least the offer was made, she couldn't deny that. If it did come to it, she knew Ehanis would consider it. "You'd probably make a killing dancing though," she muses. "Seeing your tits this morning?" she waves her hand through the air as she swallows a mouthful of her fruit. "Made my whole week.

Kinda wish I had a pair myself." She grunts as she shivers on the couch, then opens her omnitool. She tuts and gestures at it. "Damn heating. Its connection with my omnitool keeps cutting out and turning off. I need to get the super on this... damn it..."

Ehanis grimaces at the unfamiliar taste as the turian speaks, and she snorts at the turian's assessment of her assets. "Uh-huh," she says. "Problem is, I can't dance for shit, and a decent place hiring dancers have standards." She takes another bite of the fruit, as she was too hungry to pass it up despite not enjoying the taste and texture that much.

Sioria chuckles and winks at the Asari as she activates her heater again. Small vents around the room open and start emenating a delightful warm air. "You could always practice on me." she says, waggling her eye ridges again as she sits, then she notices her disatisfaction with the apple. "...well, that's apples off the list." She says, making a mental note. "We'll try one of those...

pechas. Peaches?" she asks, wondering how you say it. "Peach? Ugh. Earth names."

Ehanis shakes her head. "What's the point in that?" she asks. "You'll be too distracted to be of any help." The asari giggles and puts the apple down on the table. "How about that pie?" she asks.

Sioria puts down her fruit and takes a deep breath, then rolls over the back of the couch like she had the night before. She enjoys that way too much... "Well, you never know until you try." she says with a grin as she gets to the fridge and retreaves the pie. She opens it up and hums. "Wasn't expecting that." she muses before grabbing a slice and bringing it back. She slumps into

the couch and smiles at Ehanis. "Whaddya say, eh? Eh? Maybe with that Witch's outfit?"

Ehanis sighs, but she doesn't say anything until the turian returns with the slice of pie. The tired asari wasn't in a particularly great mood, so the insistance do evoke some frustration visible in her facial features. "No is what I say," she says. "If I was looking for a dance instructor, I'd want one that wouldn't be too busy staring at my tits to help with technique." She takes a bite of the pie. "Besides," she

begins with her mouth still party full of pie, "that flimsy robe makes for a shitty dancing outfit."

Sioria can definitely sense the frustration. Reel it back, Sioria... She chews on her fruit some more as she nods along with her words. "Ah well, at least I tried." she says, crossing her feet again. "So what's on the agenda for after your meeting? Got anything fun planned, or just kickin' back and resting up that shoulder? That reminds me, you gotta do any rehab for it?"

Ehanis gives a half shrug, sighing relieved when the turian finally backs off. "I haven't made any plans," she says. "Think I'm going to take it easy while the shoulder heals, though." She takes another large bite of the pie.

Sioria gives her the good ol' double thumbs up. "Sounds good to me." she says. "Well, I've only got some training on the menu today, might catch an early lunch. Call me if you wanna do something." she says, leaving it up to Ehanis to decide. Best not to annoy her with calls on a day like today. "Might go raid the Redrock archive, do some homework on previous missions..."

Ehanis leaves half the pie on the table after taking another bite and stands up. "Yeah, will do," she says, though her track record of taking initiative is near non-existent. "Still working on that CQC stuff?" She enters the bedroom to get the remaining pieces of clothing.

Sioria nods as she swallows her fruit. "Yep!" she calls out. "Finally getting my shield bashing technique on point. Man, can't wait to get a full on omni-shield set up, more durable and I can actually see through it without peering through a tiny slit." She says with a big ol' grin. "But that's for a time when I have a decent pay-day. Right now, I'm fine with the heavy bastard in the

corner." She stands up, waiting for Ehanis to come back out, debating on whether she should at least text her later...

Ehanis hums. "Yeah, you can't lug that heavy thing out for a hike in the woods," she says. "With the kind of luck we have...." She leaves the room while putting the purple fleeze jacket on which is more than a little awkward with her injury.

Sioria stands in the doorway, watching her and waiting to see if she needs a hand. "Good point. Perhaps we should just roll around in a tank instead, might save us some trouble." She blinks and snaps her fingers. "Or get a couple'a suits like Tankovich's! That thing's crazy!"

Ehanis walks over to the clothesrack by the exit door and grabs her jacket off of it while stepping into her shoes. "If it gets any colder outside, I might start wearing my armor suit," she says. "Speaking off, I should probably get going."

Sioria tuts with slight disapointment at that, and walks over to Ehanis. "Aw. Well, can't avoid that meeting forever." she says, opening her arms wide for a hug. "I really enjoyed last night. It was nice just to hang out, even if we didn't get much sleep for all the wrong reasons." she says with a smirk. "I'll catch you later, Blue. Stay safe, aight?"

Ehanis gives the turian a quick loose hug once she's got the white coat on and gives her a kiss on the side of her neck. "Yeah, yeah," she says. "I'm not half as harmless as I look."

Sioria returns the kiss to her cheek as she pulls away, and lets go of her. "Oh trust me, I know." she says with a chuckle. "Part of the reason I like ya. Now get outta here, Blue, don't wanna keep Wolfe waiting." she says with a wide smile.

Ehanis tightens the shoelaces. "I think I need to make a trip home anyway," she says. "I'll see you around." She then exits the room, her omni-tool surrounding her left arm almost the moment she's out in the hallway and headed for the elevator.

Sioria waves as she leaves and closes the door behind her. She stares at the door for a moment before releasing a good long breath. She drove Sioria nuts, up the wall even, and she could tell she was shaking something loose. She just had to hold out for a bit... maybe a while longer, then who knows. She heads back to her couch and slumps into it and turns the TV on. Yeah... she'll

definitely text her, somewhere between lunch and dinner.... aaaand she promptly falls asleep, this time without a loud Asari next to her.
