Yan Sun 's drinking is interrupted as Jessica nudges her, and she shoots a frown her way. "Hey! I'm not that-... yeah... okay. Probably not." she admits, sipping her drink again and stepping a bit further from the bar. A grin slowly starts to creep up as she looks back at Jessica. "Maybe if you weren't so heavy." she shoots back.

Jessica gains a blank look on her face as she stares out towards the dance floor. Her gaze slowwwwwly turns towards Yan Sun. She stares at her in silence for a few seconds. "You are calling me fat!?" she finally blurts out, "Gah-... I am not-..." She shuffles her drink back into her hand and steps over towards Yan Sun. With her other hand she reaches down, lifting the bottom of her shirt to show off her stomach as her attention

moves to her belly to assess herself. "I am not fat! This is not fat!" she says. "Fuck you! You are-... gah..... fat...."

Yan Sun continues to sip her drink as she watches Jessica, letting out a snort and giggling as she inspects her belly and starts muttering. The laughter is quickly replaced by coughing as some of her drink goes down the wrong pipe, but once recover she lets out another snicker. "I am? I thought I was scrawny?" she asks with an exaggerated look of confusion, holding out her arms infront of herself and studying them as she backs away

a little. It's clear that her second drink has started to embolden her a bit.

Jessica frowns deeply at her own stammering. "Gah... You-... scrawny and fat!" she decides, though it's clear she's not too happy with her own drunken insults. "...You are an asshole!" she decides, taking one last moment to look herself over before lowering her shirt once again. "I am not fat." she adds one last time as if it's a matter-of-fact before taking a long sip from her drink. She peers over the brim of her glass at Yan Sun,

narrowing her eyes on her.

Yan Sun suppresses another giggle and sips her straw once more, moving her feet restlessly in tune with the music and making sure to remain out of arm's reach for Jessica, just in case. The scowling she's subjected to is clearly amusing her greatly.

Jessica folds her arms back across her chest, returning her drink to the crook of her elbow as she goes back to watching the dancefloor. "Is fine. I am going to kick your ass later anyway." she states. "So go ahead. Be an asshole. You will see. Is going to be a verrrry bad night for you." she threatens, not even bothering to look Yan Sun's way as she begins to bob her head a bit to the new song starting.

Yan Sun grins, and, having made rather short work of her second drink, she moves over to the counter and puts the glass aside before coming up behind Jessica, slipping her arms around her waist and resting her chin on her left shoulder, still swaying a little to the music. "Yeah? Is that a promise?" she asks quietly, her words immediately followed by another snicker. On the dancefloor, a hanar clubgoer is making a bit of a

commotion with some rather elaborate multi-limbed dancing.

Jessica peers over her shoulder in Yan Sun's direction, a slight grin creeping back into her features. "You are feeling brave tonight, yes?" she asks. She takes another long sip of her drink as her attention is briefly pulled to the ridiculous display on the dancefloor. Stupid purple blobs. "Maybe we should get some drinks in you more often. So you will stop being such a pussy." she teases, rolling her shoulders as she leans back

against Yan Sun slightly.

Yan Sun lets out a muffled giggle as she presses a kiss against the side of Jessica's neck. "Mm... the drinks here are good." she says, her arms squeezing her midsection as she starts dancing a just a little. "And... hey!" she adds, her eyebrows furrowing as she realizes she was just insulted. "I am... not."

Jessica lifts her own drink in response to Yan Sun's first statement and takes another rather long swig from it. She makes another face as the strong drink burns at her throat and she's forced to suppress a cough. She swallows hard to control herself as she nods to Yan Sun's statement. "Mmm. You are." she says simply. "How many times do I save your life already?" she asks, rotating around in Yan Sun's grasp. Her grin grows as she

faces her partner. "You see? You would be lost without me. Or did you forget that frozen popsicle already? Where I have to follow you around and take care of you like a scared-..." she lifts her hand up, poking Yan Sun on the nose with her fingertip, "...little..." another poke, "...pussycat." She punctuates her playful jab with a condescending little snicker.

Yan Sun scrunches her nose as Jessica pokes it. "That's not-... yeah, well-... shut up." she says, a moment's hesitation crossing her face before determination takes over and she snatches Jessica's glass right out of her hand, drinking the last of the batarian ale in one swig. She immediately goes into a coughing fit, letting go of Jessica and stepping away from her to avoid coughing her in the face. "Hwbht... geh! Awgo-... 弊傢伙...

bwhy..." is all she manages to say, flailing the arm that's not holding the glass a little.

Jessica scowls as her drink is stolen. When Yan Sun begins chugging the rest of the drink, her eyes go wide, though it quickly turns into a laughing fit as she watches Yan Sun's reaction. Loud, obnoxious laughter. "Hahahahah you-... Gahahahaha-..." she tries to speak, but is unable to suppress the laughter. It takes her a few, but eventually it dies down and she's left leaned over, hands on her thighs as she sucks in some air.

"You-... You try to-..." another snicker interrupts her before she's able to look Yan Sun in the face. "Awwww. Poor kitty cat. Did you think it was just some milk?" she asks, putting on a pouty face to mock Yan Sun.

Yan Sun continues to cough, wheeze and attempt to retort with little success. She's practically doubled over, staring down at the floor with one hand on her leg, but she aims the other towards Jessica, extending her middle-finger as words fail. "Guuuh... why... why... do you-... greh... drink this 熊猫尿...?!"

Jessica finally manages to regain her composure and places a hand on the back of Yan Sun's head and gives her a few pats, as if to say 'there there'. "What do you mean, why?" she asks, raising an eyebrow. "To get drunk!" she says, as if that should be obvious, "Is verrry good at getting you drunk. You wait. In five minutes, you will be seeing two of me. Mmm. Is your lucky night."

Yan Sun swats at Jessica's hand, remaining as she is for a while as she tries to compose herself. Eventually she straightens up and glances around until she spots Jessica. "Wluh... bleh... gleh..." she sounds as she struggles with the burning in her throat. "Wh-... that was... urgh." she mumbles, a dismayed look on her face as she looks around the club with a slightly unfocused gaze, still grimacing a little.

Jessica cocks her head to the side as she watches Yan Sun, clearly amused by her reaction. "That was-...? Good shit, yes?" she offers with another snicker. She steps forward and takes the glass from Yan Sun's hand and sets it back on the bar counter before returning back to her side. She places one hand on Yan Sun's lower back. "And now you owe me another drink, too. You are reeeally building up an expensive tab... Hat. Knife.

Pants. Drinks." she lists, deciding to leave her lost gun off the tab for now. She gives a 'tsk tsk'. "And the life debt. I am not so sure you will be able to afford everything you owe me, kitty cat..." she continues to tease.

Yan Sun looks after Jessica as she takes the glass and puts it aside, remaining in place where she is as she struggles to deal with the effects of the strong alien drink. She grins as Jessica comes back to her and starts to list of her debt. "Hmhheh... yeah?" she says, placing a hand on Jessica's shoulder and leaning a little against her. "Mm... I can find a way to repay you I think..." she says with a nod, turning her head to

study the side of Jessica's face up close, an uncharacteristically impish grin on her face. She lifts the hand from her shoulder and tracing a finger around her ear.

Jessica gives a sidelong glance as her hand on Yan Sun's lower back begins to rub back and forth. "Mmm? You think so?" she asks through a mischevious grin. "I am not so sure. Is pretty expensive debt..." she adds, closing her eyes as she feels Yan Sun's fingertip trace along her ear.

Yan Sun hums, giving several short nods as her grin widens, the alcohol-induced confidence quite obvious. "Hhmh..." She runs her hand up over Jessica's shaved head with a goofy expression, and it looks like she's going to lean in for a kiss before she suddenly frowns, her shoulders dropping. "I'm sorry about your kniife..." she says, seeming very concerned about this all of the sudden.

Jessica's hand travels further up Yan Sun's back. When Yan Sun mentions the knife, she opens her eyes. "Mmm. You should be. Was a verrry good knife." she says. Though as she realizes that this is something that really bothers Yan Sun, she sighs and gives a roll of her eyes. "...Gah-... don't...." she trails off, her hand moving all the way up and hooking over Yan Sun's shoulder. She gives a soft shove. "Is just a knife, kitty

cat..." she assures, "Besides. I leave the knife there and take you home instead. Is a good trade." She furrows her brow, seeming to consider Yan Sun's value for a moment before shrugging, "Eh... Mostly."

Yan Sun studies Jessica with furrowed eyebrows as she reassures her. The final comment causes a closed-mouth laugh, and she leans against her a little, putting her head on her shoulder, hand going over to the far shoulder. "Mmm... I knew you liked me." she mumbles, barely audible with the increasingly loud music. She closes her eyes for a bit, and her implants stop glowing.

Jessica cocks an eyebrow at the woman leaning against her. "...More than a stupid knife?" she asks, never one to avoid the chance for a backhanded comment. She shrugs her shoulders again, "Eh... I guess. But only because I can find more fun uses for you than a knife..." she adds with a snicker and a nudge. "Well, maybe is not so true... Is just more dangerous with the knife."

Yan Sun grimaces, giving Jessica's shoulder a shove without opening her eyes. "Ewww!"

Jessica gives another quick snicker. "Do not 'ewww' me!" she protests. She brings her hand across to Yan Sun's other shoulder and leans her head sideways against Yan Sun's as she enjoys the music, the lights, the dancing. "Do not pretend like you are not a freak. I know better by now."

Yan Sun grumbles quietly, and seems about to say something when she's nudged by a passing clubgoer, unbalancing her a little as she stumbles a bit, her grip on Jessica releasing. She seems a little annoyed as she looks around, not sure who did it. "Urgh... maybe time to go. Or sit down." she says as she looks back at Jessica.

Jessica glares harshly at the passerby, obviously sharing Yan Sun's frustration. It isn't until Yan Sun speaks that her attention returns to her. "Mmm. Maybe." she says before her grin begins to return. "...Because somebody can not hold her booze..." she says. Not that she has shown the best track record in that department herself. And Yan Sun has a lonnnng ride in the back of a krogan's truck attending to Jessica's sickness to

remember that by.

Yan Sun frowns slightly. "M-huh... and which of us is it...?" she asks as her gaze turns towards the exit. She reaches for Jessica's hand, fumbling a little before interlocking their fingers. "Mm... enough drinks. Yeah?"

Jessica grasps Yan Sun's hand but gives her another playful shove anyway. "What is that supposed to mean!? Mmm? I can handle my booze fine!" she frowns. At the question, her gaze moves to the bar and she gives a sigh. "Enough drinks..." she agrees before adding, "...For your sake! I do not want you... falling over on the way back. You can barely stand up when you're not drunk..."

Yan Sun frowns as she starts to head towards the exit. "I don't-... that's not fair..." she protests, without much conviction. As they reach the coat room and the music starts to become more muffled she adds: "...wasn't me that was pu-...ngh..." she stops briefly, grimacing as her stomach churns, and opts not to comment further as the asari behind the counter hands their jackets back.

Jessica releases her grip on Yan Sun's hand and hastily begins to put on her coat. The affect of the batarian ale on Yan Sun seems to be providing a great deal of amusement to Jessica. Sure, she was feeling it, too. But she has had more than her fair share of encounters with the drink. "Mmm? What was that? Sorry. I can not hear you over the sound of you being a little bitch." she taunts before warning, "And I swear-.. if you puke on

me I am going to hit you!"

Yan Sun offers no response, putting on her hoodie and jacket in silence and doing her best to keep from grimacing again as she heads out the front door. The weather is much the same as when they came in, but it's gotten colder, a light gust of chilling air hitting theme as they step outside. "Hbrr..."

Jessica throws an arm around Yan Sun once they're outside. Less as a form of affection and more to use her to block the wind and stay warm. "Gah... Is another thing I won't miss about this place... So fucking cold in the winter...." she says. Though even that isn't entirely true given the amount of good memories the winter has provided her.

Yan Sun nods, slipping an arm around Jessica as well once they're outside. The sudden cold seems to have a bit of a sobering effect on her as they start the walk back to the Respite. The cloudy sky makes for a dark night, despite the occasional streetlight. There's not a lot of cars out, between the hour and the weather, but she finds herself staring as a plow passes by on the street, the mechanical churning of the large vehicle

rather imposing. A swirl of snow-filled air flies at them as it passes.

Jessica winces, leans to the side, and rotates in place a bit, hoping to block the pattern of snow coming their way with... Yan Sun.

Yan Sun takes the brunt of the snow flurry as Jessica's plan proves a success, flakes sticking to her clothes and hair, and getting pretty much everywhere you don't want a bunch of cold snow. "Pfleh! Gah!" she rubs her left eye and then shivers, squirming as ice-cold water runs down her spine.

Jessica has another fit of obnoxious laughter. "You see!" she proclaims loudly, "Soooo much more useful than a stupid knife, yes!?" Now clear from any snow dangers, she falls back into step beside Yan Sun. She leans down and scoops up a handful of snow from the ground. With a quick announcement of "Cold boobs!" she tries to shove the fistful of snow down the top of Yan Sun's jacket, her laughter continuing.

Yan Sun shoots Jessica a glare as they continue to walk, but any chance to respond is interrupted as she has snow stuffed down her jacket. Her eyes go wide as she starts squirming again, clawing at her jacket. "Ah-ah-ahahaaah-凍-cold-cold-cold-凍..." she blurts out as she performs a ridiculous little dance on the sidewalk, unzipping her jacket and brushing off the last of the snow before its melted.

Jessica just continues laughing at her reign of terror on Yan Sun. The goofy dance only causes her laughter to get louder. "What is the matter-...?" she asks between gasps for air. "Is-... Is it cold...? Is cold? Are you-... are you trying to tell me is cold, yes?" she mocks.

Yan Sun scowls at Jessica, wrapping herself up in her jacket as cold air starts to hit her now-wet clothes, and then picks up her pace, walking faster down the sidewalk part out of eagerness to get out of the cold and part to get away from Jessica's terrorizing. As she passes through a particularly dark section of the block caused by a missing streelight, a figure can be seen standing by the entrance to an alley, their head turning

to follow her.

Jessica continues to follow behind Yan Sun, snickering to herself. "Awww, wait up..." she calls after her mockingly. She's far too amused by her own antics to pay any attention to any creepy figures in alleys. "Is fine! I can warm you up when we get home..." she continues to tease. She grabs the collar of her jacket, pulling it a bit closer as another gust of wind rolls through.

Yan Sun comes to an abrupt stop as the shady figure steps out in front of them. It's a human man, and he's holding a knife. "Sorry to interrupt your fun..." he says, showing off the blade in his right hand as he holds out his left. "Credits!" he barks. Yan Sun is frozen in place, blinking several times and glancing at Jessica.

Jessica comes to a stop a step behind Yan Sun. Her laughter comes to a stop as well as her gaze is drawn to the blade in the man's hand. She swallows hard and steps up beside Yan Sun. "Gah... Okay, okay-..." she sighs, a hint of frustration in her voice as she shoots Yan Sun a brief glance. "Just-... don't hurt us, mmm?" she continues before hastily adding, "...Mr. Scary Man." She puts her left hand up, palm outwards to signal him to

just be cool as she slides her right hand into her pocket as if searching for her credit chit. "Gah-... Just-... one second.... Is in here somewhere...."

Yan Sun looks uneasy, glancing at Jessica again and digging a hand into one of her pockets. "I-... I don't have-... it's empty." she manages, not quite sure why she felt the need to explain that. The man scowls. "So fill it!" he says impatiently, waving the knife in her face. Yan Sun flinches slightly and nods. "Okay, okay!" she blurts out, activating her omni-tool and slowly starting to press keys.

Jessica takes a deep breath as the man snaps at Yan Sun. While his attention is on Yan Sun, she lashes out, reaching for the wrist holding the knife with her raised hand as she aims a full force kick right between his legs, stepping into it. "How about no, you fuck!?" she growls.

The man doubles over with a pained whimper when Jessica kicks him, the knife falling in the snow. It's clear he was caught off-guard, and all he manages to do is to aim a half-assed punch at her with his free arm.

Yan Sun reflexively takes a step back as Jessica attacks the robber, the combination of the alcohol and her shock leaving her frozen in place.

Jessica has been in more than her fair share of fights. She has no trouble getting her other hand free from her pocket and getting her arm between herself and the poorly thrown punch. Once the punch is dealt with, her hand immediately goes for the man's head as she tries to force his face down and right into her knee. "Pathetic!" she grunts.

The would-be robber's head slams into Jessica's knee and he collapses back into the gutter, disoriented and groaning faintly.

Yan Sun flinches as Jessica knees the man in the face and he falls int othe snow, blood trickling from his nose. She clearly doesn't know what to do, staying back with a tense stance to her as her gaze darts between them.

Jessica sucks in a deep breath and leans down to grab the knife. She looks it over appraisingly for a second, seemingly deciding whether or not it's worth keeping before pressing on with her attack. She steps up beside the man and crouches down. "Hold this for me." she says before driving the knife into his leg with a grunt. "Gah... Fucking piece of shit. You see this, kitty cat? This is what I am talking about. Even Freedom Falls'

muggers are a bunch of little bitches..." she says with a disappointed sigh as she presses a knee onto the man's chest and begins to dig through his pockets for anything of value.

The man cries out in pain as Jessica stabs the knife into his leg, clutching at it even in his disoriented state. "Gaah-... ple-... s-... geh-uh..." The only things in his pockets are a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. The knife is a simple, moderately sized blade with a plastic handle.

Yan Sun winces as Jessica drives the knife into the mugger's leg, clearly disturbed by the sight by the look on her face. She reaches out for Jessica's shoulder, tugging a little at it. "C-... come on, let's just-... let's just get out of here." she says, looking around the empty street.

Jessica frowns as she's unable to find anything worth taking. Just on principal alone she takes the cigarettes and lighter and shoves them into her pocket. At Yan Sun's request, she glances back up at her and frowns. "He try-... tried to rob us!" she reminds, leveling her scowl back at the wounded man. She presses a little more weight onto his chest before yanking the knife free. Once finished, she gives a sigh and another brief

glance in Yan Sun's direction. "It looks like today is your lucky day, Mr. Ooooh-So-Scary Man." she taunts as she wipes the knife off on his pantleg. "Thanks to her-..." she continues, gesturing to Yan Sun, "...I am not going to slit your throat and leave you in the gutter like the piece of shit little pig that you are. How about a little 'thank you', mmm? Go on. Thank her."

The man lets out another pained cry as the knife is yanked out, practically reduced to sobbing as he struggles to say anything at all. "Je-... fu-... g-... thank you... thank you!" he finally manages, practically shouting, his fear obvious.

Yan Sun takes a step back, a troubled look on her face as she watches the unfolding spectacle, hugging herself and staying silent. When Jessica has the man thank her she looks away, staring at a pile of snow.

Jessica glares at the man for a moment longer before removing her knee from his chest and standing up. "Fucking pathetic..." she mutters with a roll of her eye as the man thanks them. "Let's go." she says to Yan Sun. She wipes at a bit of the snow that's now on her pants and places a hand on Yan Sun's upper back, nudging her in the direction they were walking before being interrupted, scowl etched onto her face.

Yan Sun starts walking when Jessica nudges her, but keeps her arms wrapped around herself, and she looks back over her shoulder at the man who's still lying there, clutching his bleeding leg as he lets out pained groans. She has a shaken look to her, and she keeps her gaze low as she turns her head back the direction they're heading.

Jessica shoves the knife into her pocket and groans as she brings her hand back up in front of her face, rotating it to examining it as she walks alongside Yan Sun. "Gah... He get blood on my hand." she complains with a pout. "Fucking asshole..."

Yan Sun offers no comment, just continuing to walk at a quick pace back towards the Respite, which they're starting to get fairly close to.

Jessica sighs loudly, doing her best to calm herself down. Not because she just stabbed a man. That's already been forgotten. But because some jerkface was an asshole. Her hand slides back to Yan Sun's lower back before wrapping around her "Is a good night, kitty cat. Do not let that fuckface ruin it, mmm?" she offers, as much a reminder to herself as to Yan Sun. She seems oblivious to the possibility that Yan Sun may be upset with

how she reacted to the situation.

Yan Sun says nothing still as the Respite comes into view at the end of the block. When Jessica wraps an arm around her it becomes apparent that she's shaking a little. Her troubled expression remains as she walks in silence, not really acknowledging Jessica.

Jessica frowns as she notices the shaking. It fades soon enough, returning to her grin as she sees another opportunity to taunt Yan Sun. "You see? I tell you this before, mmm? You are a pussy, kitty cat." she teases, giving a quick snicker. Clearly not taking the whole situation nearly as seriously as Yan Sun is.

Yan Sun doesn't seem at all amused, and avoids looking at Jessica as she's taunted. She makes straight for the stairs once they're inside, paying little attention to the patrons or staff.

Jessica's frown returns and she trails behind slightly, releasing her grip on Yan Sun as she beelines for the stairs. She passes a glance around the Respite as she follows Yan Sun. "Kitty cat...?" she says as they reach the top of the stairs.
