Yan Sun is sitting in her usual jeans and tank top combo by the desk in their room when Jessica comes home from... whatever she's been doing. Her laptop has been pushed aside, the table cleared so that there's room for her left arm, the lower half of which is resting against the plastic. The panel that runs the length of the inside of her arm is opened, revealing the synthetic nature of the limb and making for an altogether

unsettling sight, the completely realistic skin rather abruptly giving way to the metallic internal structure - hydraulics, circuitry, an omni-gel canister and more. Her left hand is resting palm-up, immobile with slightly curled fingers. She's currently poking about in the insides of the cybernetic limb with a multi-tool, her complete attention devoted to the task.
Jessica steps through the front door as it slides open. She's dressed in her typical attire: beige cargo pants and sneakers with her winter jacket to go with her stylish deep frown. A large, dirty, wet stain is all over the left side of her pants and she's patting at it with one hand, muttering to herself. As the door slides closed behind her, she yanks her jacket off and throws it on the nearby hook. "Fucking idiot." she growls
under her breath as she begins to tug off the grey long sleeved shirt she was wearing underneath her jacket, the bottom of which has also managed to get dirty somehow. Underneath it she's wearing a white tanktop which, thankfully, seemed to miss the wrath of whatever accident befell her.
Yan Sun lets out a distracted "What?" as she continues her delicate work on the circuitry in her arm, her gaze remaining fixed.
Jessica gestures to her pants. "What?" she repeats mockingly. "He push me! He run by and he push me! And then I slip on ice and now my pants are dirty!" she explains without actually explaining. She takes a few steps towards Yan Sun, arms folded across her chest. Her deeply etched frown remains on her face, eyebrows furrowed as she considers going back outside and chasing down the man who bumped into her. "What are you doing, mmm?"
Yan Sun snickers slightly. "Not exactly. Just some... maintenance." she says, doing her best to split her focus between Jessica and her work. As she uses the tiny pliers at the end of the multitool to connect a wire her left hand opens and closes repeatedly, a robotic stiffness to it that's not normally present. "Been putting it off, really... I don't exactly have access to the proper equipment."
Jessica watches in silence for a moment as Yan Sun works, slowly shuffling closer to get a better look. At the very least, it seems to have momentarily distracted her from her plans for exacting revenge on the man outside. "Mmm. Is too much masturbation." she says confidently with a single nod, "Is making your hand break down." While she doesn't really know what she's looking at, she still has a passing knowledge of circuitry given
her explosives experience, so she's not entirely out of her league. It's enough for her to understand 'connecting wires makes stuff happen'. "You do not need proper equipment, mmm? Give me a gum wrapper and I will have you masturbating again in no time, kitty cat." she offers with a snicker.
Yan Sun pauses her work briefly at Jessica's comment, shooting a brief glance her way before continuing with a slight shake of her head. She presses a button on the side of the multitool, causing a small tube to extend. There's a flare of light as she starts to solder the wires together. Tiny wisps of smoke rise out of her arm. "If you put gum in my arm I will hurt you." she mumbles finally.
Jessica leans over Yan Sun's shoulder to watch, resting her forearms against the backrest. "Is not gum. Is just a gum wrapper. I will eat the gum first." she clarifies with a roll of her eye. She lifts a hand and gives the back of Yan Sun's head a light shove. "And why you are all of a sudden so tough, mmm?" she asks. "Mmm?" she gives another light shove. "You are going to hurt me, yes?" she shoves once again, obviously
Yan Sun fumbles slightly as the shove distracts her, and sparks fly from the open panel, her hand locking up in a strained, claw-like position as a surge of light shoots through the subdermal implants that run up the length of her arm to the side of her head. "Gahhh-owww!" she exclaims while withdrawing the multi-tool and nearly yanking her left arm off the table. "屌那星 哎唷 屎蟲!"
Jessica winces away from the light, standing up straight and removing her arms from the backrest. She frowns, looking towards Yan Sun with judgmental eyes. "You are sure that you are knowing what you are doing, yes?" she asks, "If that was a bomb, I am thinking maybe you would be dead." she sighs. "Maybe you should let me fix it."
Yan Sun sighs. "That was your fault!" she says, lifting her left arm off the table and looking it over for a moment. She digs in with the multitool again and makes a quick adjustment, releasing the locked-up hand, but as she lifts her arm again, shaking it slightly, the hand remains limp. "Yep... this is about 10x worse than it was before I started."
Jessica scoffs loudly. "Is my fault!? How is my fault!? I am not the one holding the tools, mmm!? And-... Gah! Just fix your stupid arm!" she complains, folding her arms across her chest once again and giving Yan Sun the death stare. "And hurry up! I need your help with something."
Yan Sun raises an eyebrow, glancing over her shoulder at Jessica. "You... need my help? With what?" she asks before turning back and inspecting the damage, poking around with the pliers.
Jessica glances away, shrugging her shoulders. She falls silent for a moment. "With... stuff." she decides. "Is not important! But you can't help me if your hand is going to be like-..." she raises her own hand, flopping her wrist about. "So make it less-... gah..... less floppy, yes?"
Yan Sun doesn't exactly seem enthused by the useless elaboration. "Oookay... what kind of 'stuff'...?" she asks as she gets to work repairing the fried circuit. She pulls out a damage portion, tossing it aside on the desk.
Jessica scoffs once again, louder this time. "Stuff! Okay!?" she says, beginning to sound frustrated. After a moment of silence, she sighs. "I have to take pictures. Is stupid, but I can't do it by myself. So fix your floppy hand and put on something that makes you look less homeless."
Yan Sun furrows her eyebrows. "You have to take pictures? What do you-... wait, what's wrong with my clothes?!" she asks with the tiniest hint of offense. After another quick glance to Jessica she presses a button on the back of the multitool, and a minuscule amount of omni-gel is extruded, replacing the removed circuit.
Jessica shrugs, scrutinizing Yan Sun's clothing for a moment. "Nothing. Is fine. For begging for credits. Or eating out of the trash. Maybe is not so fine for getting married in, mmm?" she decides, seemingly oblivious to her own sense of style, or lack thereof.
Yan Sun makes a few small adjustments and then flexes her hand, moving each finger in sequence. Once satisfied she puts the multitool down, and the access panel closes, concealing the internal complexities of the arm. When Jessica speaks she pauses her inspection, blinking. "Uhm... what? I... wasn't aware I was getting married..." she says with a mix of confusion and apprehension.
Jessica furrows her brows. "Wha-... No!" she spits. After a moment she adds, "Gross... I know maybe I get your hopes up, but I could do much better than marrying a homeless woman with a floppy hand." she teases, a small grin crossing her face at the opportunity to get some cheap digs in. Her grin fades, however, as it becomes obvious that she's making no traction. "Is for pictures! That bitch say that I can maybe take pictures at
the wedding, yes? So now I have to take some pictures to show her that I can do it. Now are you going to help me or no?"
Yan Sun 's eyebrows rise as Jessica finally starts to make sense. "Oh! I didn't know-... yeah, yeah, okay. Uh... you know I didn't exactly bring any fancy clothes with my out here, right?" she asks before looking back to her hand, turning it over in front of her and opening and closing it a few more times to make sure it's working properly.
Jessica shrugs her shoulders, looking as if she's failing to make the connection as to why that's relevant. "So? Just... put something on, kitty cat." she says. She raises an eyebrow as a thought occurs to her. "Or maybe is better if you just wear nothing, mmm?" she offers, giving a wiggle of her eyebrows. Well, eyebrow and a half. "Is maybe a better chance to get the job if I bribe her with dirty pictures."
Yan Sun gives Jessica an unamused look. "Yeah... no. I'll find... something." she says, pushing the chair back and standing up with a sigh as she walks over towards the wardrobe. "Am I gonna be the only one in the pictures?" she asks as she starts looking through her clothes.
Jessica sighs, "You suck." She shrugs in response to the question. "Probably. Is maybe not the best way to show off my prove I am the one for the job by putting this in the pictures." she says, shutting her bad eye and tilting her head to point out her scarred, burned flesh. She gives an amused snicker. "Wedding pictures have to be pretty and happy and-..." she shoves her index finger into her mouth, pantomiming gagging.
Yan Sun takes out a pair of black jeans, the only ones she has aside from the ones she's wearing, and then a similarly dark top. It's about the nicest clothes she can muster, although maybe it looks more like she's heading to a funeral than anything. Jessica's casual self-deprecation gives her pause, and for a moment she looks like she's going to say something about it, but instead she sighs quietly and turns around, asking:
"This good enough? I'm telling you, I really don't have a lot of options... I left all that 屁話 in the Tower."
Jessica appraises the clothing before shrugging indifferently. Truth is, she cares little for what Yan Sun wears. She just saw an opportunity to rag on her and went for it. "Is fine." she says as she takes a seat at the edge of their bed and pulls her omni-tool out. The interface comes to life and she begins poking through options and settings. "What is the 'Tower'?" she asks as an afterthought, barely looking up from the holographic
Yan Sun blinks, not quite having realized her own choice of words. "Oh. It's... uh, it's where my parents live." she says before heading into the bathroom. Not so much to change out of view, since that would be a rather pointless gesture, but rather to clean up a bit and apply some makeup. Might as well put some effort in if there are pictures to be taken.
Jessica remains where she is, fiddling with her omni-tool. "And you leave all your things with them?" she asks, "But you say they are fuckers, mmm? So why do you leave everything with them? If they were my things? I would take it all with me...." she says before adding with a shrug, "...And maybe some of their things, too."
Yan Sun makes a noise somewhere between a sigh and a snicker from the bathroom. "I didn't want those stupid clothes. Only ever wore them when my parents dragged me along to parties, or city ceremonies, or whatever."
Jessica glances towards the bathroom door. "Oh. Soooo sorry. You were so rich you don't need those clothes. You could just go and buy more, yes? I sometimes maybe forget because of how homeless you always look." she teases. It's a cheap shot, but if their history so far is any indication, Jessica doesn't mean it as a real insult. Just Jessica being Jessica. "What is a city ceremony? Is like..... a big party? City celebration?"
Yan Sun stops fixing her hair, the jab at her former status hitting a sore spot. She shoots a glance out the door even though she can't see Jessica. "I am homeless. We both are." she points out before resuming. Soon moving on to makeup, although she pauses as she considers the question. "You know, like... when a new building opens, or... a project starts. Or somebody in the Party is promoted. Between the Party bigshots and the
Jessica frowns. "I am not homeless. I live here. I only am letting you stay with me for the fucking." she teases. "And I have a job!" she adds, stressing it as if it's the argument winner, "Homeless people do not have jobs." Her attention drifts back to her omni-tool. "So... big parties. We would have them sometimes in Adrasteia." she explains, though it's highly unlikely they were similar, "Me and Martin would sometimes go.
Everyone would get so drunk, nobody is paying attention to their omni-tools. Is easy credits. Sometimes they would go all night and everybody was out there. Was fun." Block party. City ceremony. Same difference, right?
Yan Sun takes Jessica's teasing in stride, focusing on the application of the blue lipstick she favors. "Yeahhh... these parties sucked. Bunch of 激屎 烏龜王八蛋 patting themselves on the back and 發噏風."
Jessica finishes making the necessary adjustments to her camera application and shuts down her omni-tool. She sets it beside her on the bed and leans back, propping herself up with her hands. "Then why did you go to them?" she asks, sounding confused. "If a party is dumb, you just leave, mmm? Find a better party."
Yan Sun snorts. "Wasn't exactly my choice. Or, that's what I figured anyway." she says, and a little later she adds: "Dad had to show off his 'perfect daughter'. That stopped real quick in the last couple of years. Guess I became more trouble than I was worth."
Jessica brings one dirty shoe up onto the edge of the bed to get comfortable as she waits. "Perfect daughter, mmm? I thought you did not have any sisters? You will have to introduce me." she teases, seeming quite amused at her own clever joke if the chuckles are any indication. "I am glad that you are 'trouble', kitty cat. I like trouble."
Yan Sun snickers quietly, exiting the bathroom not much later. She's changed into the clothes she picked up, and applied the same slightly dramatic makeup that she wore when they went to the club, as well as matching blue nails. She extends her arms to her sides, looking down at herself and then over at Jessica. "Good enough?" she asks.
Jessica remains where she is, looking Yan Sun up and down as she steps out of the bathroom. "Is better than the garbage lady that went in there." she decides with a grin. About as close to a compliment as Yan Sun is probably going to get.
Yan Sun 's shoulders drop as she nods a couple of times to herself. "Maybe remember that I'm helping you right now?" she says, although a small smirk creeps into her expression.
Jessica raises a single hand to give Yan Sun the finger. Her tongue lulls out of one side of her mouth and she makes a dumb face. "You are doing what I am telling you to do. Like a good kitty cat." she says. "Now-..." she sits up, scoops up her omni-tool and begins looking all around the room, making it clear that she hasn't put any actual thought into this plan whatsoever, "...Uhh... Try and act like you are not a shit. Sit at
Yan Sun raises an eyebrow. "O...kay." she says, glancing toward Jessica a few times as she slowly makes her way towards the desk, retaking the seat she left not long ago. "Uh... and now?" she asks, looking over her shoulder at Jessica.
Jessica stands up and moves over to Yan Sun's side. She continues looking around for ideas. "Okay... now-..." she looks down at the desk as she sits at the edge of it off to Yan Sun's side, "....Gah... I don't know! Pretend you are doing something important!" she instructs. The omni-tool interface glows to life and she looks through it, framing Yan Sun. "Just-... do whatever you usually do when you are here, but the opposite, mmm?"
Yan Sun moves to reach for her laptop, but then stops at the last addition, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "Wha-... I have no idea what that means." she says, turning the chair a little and making several movements as if about to do something, immediately changing her mind each time.
Jessica continues to watch through the interface for a moment before saying, "What what means? Is not so difficult! Just do not-you stuff! Important stuff! You are on a business call! Is important! Important people don't do dumb expressions." She pauses, leaning forward and running a finger along Yan Sun's hairline, adjusting her hair. Her tongue hangs out of the side of her mouth as she leans back and studies the image.
Yan Sun waits with a goofy look on her face as Jessica adjusts her hair. Afterwards she looks around and then activates her omni-tool with a shrug, doing her best to mimic a call. She's not much of an actor.
Jessica pokes at her interface, causing a few clicks to sound out, denoting a picture being taken. Jessica begins snickering to herself as she stares into the holographic image. "You look sooooo stupid." she says aloud. "Okay. Serious is maybe not your thing." she continues, her laughter dying down with a sigh. She hops off the edge of the bed and moves over towards the window. "Come over here."
Yan Sun frowns slightly at the lack of appreciation for her efforts, but it's all she can do to keep from breaking into laughter herself as she sees Jessica snickering. She follows over to the window, looking a little lost as to what to do.
Jessica brings her interface back up. "Okay... Maybe.... Maybe just stand by the window. Do the flirty thing, yes?" she says, unaware that her explanation could probably use a little work. "You know. Like the women in the vids. With your lips, like this." she does a goofy pouty face.
Yan Sun raises an eyebrow, looking rather skeptical. There's no immediate sign of any pouting. She almost forms a smirk before an awkward expression takes over as she shifts back and forth, searching for a pose. "This is-... this is stupid. You're showing this to... the angry mercenary?"
Jessica sighs. No clicking follows. "Gah... You are doing it wrong." she complains. "She tell me I have to send her my portf-.... Pa-.... My photo collection, yes? But I show her most of the good ones already, so I need more." She frowns and lowers her omni-tool.
Yan Sun frowns slightly, but then nods a few times. "Yeah, I-... okay. I can, uh-..." She hesitates for a moment as she thinks and then leans back against the window frame, planting one of her feet against the wall and eventually turning her head to look out the window. It's an awkward few moments as she figures out the pose, but the result should be decent...ish.
Jessica looks disheartened for a few moments, but raises her omni-tool back up eventually. "I use to hate getting my picture taken. Is always so weird, mmm?" she says as she looks through the interface and a couple of clicks follow. She slowly moves to the side, altering her angle a bit as she snaps a few more photos. "I always do dumb faces and ruin the picture. My mother would get so mad at me." she snickers, "I never
understand why she needed so many dumb pictures of us. We were right there if she want to look at us."
Yan Sun 's gaze drops, a slight frown crossing her face. She glances over at Jessica. "Yeah, but-..." she trails off, thinking better of continuing the sentance, and opting instead to return to her posing, looking at Jessica's omni-tool as she stuffs her hands into her pockets. She does her best to keep from letting it show on her face how ridiculous she feels.
Jessica continues snapping pictures, switching from one side of Yan Sun to the other. She falls silent, making no effort to get Yan Sun to continue her thought. Her shoulders slump as she studies the image on her interface and she briefly gains a look of sadness as her mind drifts, but she's quick to suck in a deep breath and continue the clicking. "There. Now you can stop acting like a weirdo." She considers the statement for a
Yan Sun 's shoulders drop and she pushes off from the wall with a relieved sigh. "Is that enough for your... portfolio?" she says with a small smirk as she walks over to the bed, perhaps hoping to catch a glimpse of the pictures.
Jessica follows Yan Sun with the omni-tool, continuing to take a few more photos anyway as she shakes her head to the question. When finished, she steps over to the bed as well and takes a seat at the edge of it to look over the photos. Her position makes it easy for Yan Sun to see them. They're not half bad, either. At the very least, they're a large step up from her earlier off-centered slightly-out-of-focus photos. It's obvious
that she has put a lot of effort into improving. Little things, like the framing of the pictures and the focus hint towards a natural talent. "If maybe I was trying to get a job taking pictures of weird women against walls, then yes. Is not a weird women against walls job, though." she says softly, her focus divided between her omni-tool and Yan Sun.
Yan Sun smiles slightly as she studies the pictures, and she's about to comment when Jessica speaks up, causing her to nudge her with her shoulder. "Who are you calling weird?!"
Jessica's omni-tool interface dissipates and she simply glares at Yan Sun as she's jostled by the nudge. "Why you are so eager to get hit today, mmm!?" she threatens.
Yan Sun snickers slightly, a hint of a mischievous grin lingering for a moment, but eventually it fades and she asks: "Have you been doing this a lot? Practicing?"
Jessica shrugs her shoulders. "No..." she lies dismissively, "Is soooo boring at the dam. Is something to do, mmm?" She activates her omni-tool and quickly swipes to her photo album, putting a few of her pictures on display. A wide shot of the dam and the frozen river beneath it. A few of the access road leading up to the dam, Litae off to the side, causing an interesting lighting effect. She swipes through a couple more from the
area around the dam. They're not bad. Some might even say they're really good. Not Jessica. "They're shit." she shrugs, "Keeps me from sleeping."
Yan Sun 's smile returns as she studies the photos. She climbs over behind Jessica, sitting on her knees and resting her chin on her shoulder as she continues to look, one arm slipping around the woman's waist. "Are you kidding? Jessica, these are great..." she says, giving her a slight shake with her arm.
Jessica is unable to suppress a small smile at the compliment, though it quickly turns to a look of discomfort. "They are okay..." she relents, "...I guess..." She leans back against Yan Sun, using her as a backrest. "Is stupid, anyway. I don't even want this dumb job." she sighs. She quietly swipes through to the next photo, which is of Yan Sun at the desk eating some noodles. It was obviously taken without Yan Sun knowing. She
quickly swipes to the next, which is that of Jattic. His back is to the camera and Jessica's hand is reaching into the frame, flipping the batarian the bird.
Yan Sun grins a little at Jessica's reluctance to accept the compliment. She raises an eyebrow at the picture of herself, but before she has a chance to say something she sees the next one, and lets out a loud, amused snort. "How many of these do you have?!" she asks, before furrowing her eyebrows, lifting her head a little to look at the side of Jessica's face. "Do you have any more of me...?" she asks, the suspicion clear in
Jessica shrugs her shoulders once again. A bit of self consciousness seeping in, she quickly begins to seem far less reluctant to show off her photos. "I don't know. I take a lot of pictures." she says dismissively. When Yan Sun asks specifically about pictures of her, Jessica scoffs, craning her neck a bit. "No." she says defensively. After a moment, she shrugs against Yan Sun. "I don't know.... Maybe. Just one or two...."
Yan Sun nods as she receives confirmation. "Show me." she says, her gaze turning back to the screen as she returns to her previous position. "
Jessica scoffs loudly. "No. Fuck you." she frowns. After a brief pause, she rolls her eye. "Fine. You are so annoying... You know this, yes?" She swipes back into the folder and navigates to one titled 'Kitty Cat'. There's more than a couple photos in the folder, which Jessica tries to cover up by quickly selecting one. It just so happens to be one of Yan Sun asleep in bed with a penis drawn on the side of her face.
Yan Sun initially seems almost touched by the fact that she has her own folder, but her expression quickly turns to an unamused frown when Jessica brings up the specific picture. "Oh, what the hell?!" she exclaims. "You-..." she withdraws her arm. "You know what? I take back every nice thing I just said."
Jessica seems pleased with the reaction, bursting into laughter. "You had-..." she manages through her laughing, reaching back with her free hand to pat Yan Sun on her cheek in her usual, annoying fashion, "...had something on your face. I was trying to record it, mmm!? Like scientist, yes?"
Yan Sun shifts, sitting back against the wall and folding her arms across her chest. "You take pictures of me when I sleep? Seriously?!" She seems only mildly annoyed, and more embarrassed than anything.
Jessica rotates to face Yan Sun, bringing her legs up onto the bed and setting down the omni-tool between them. She makes a face of disgust. "You are making it sound creepy!" she says with a deep frown, "Is not creepy! I only take pictures when you have penis on your face!" she insists. Her attention quickly shifts back to her omni-tool, as if double checking to see if that's true.
Yan Sun raises an eyebrow. "Riiight... much better. And I guess you had nothing to do with putting that thing on my face?"
Jessica gains a wide-eyed look, as if she can't believe she's being accused. "Wha-... Me? No!" she insists, "I just come home from work one night and find you like this." She manages to get most of the lie out before her expression cracks into a grin.
Yan Sun suppresses a grin of her own, looking off to the side and shaking her head. "You are such a 龜蛋..." she mumbles.
Jessica climbs to her knees, shuffling towards Yan Sun. "Mmm. Is a good thing?" she asks- unsure of what she was just called- head tilted as she studies her. "Or you are still just trying to make me hit you?"
Yan Sun finds herself unable to keep her grin from surfacing as she looks at Jessica. So much for being upset. "I said you're a... jerk." she says, opting for a diplomatic translation. "And you are. A big one." she adds with a nod and a briefly serious nod.
Jessica cocks an eyebrow as she shuffles closer. "I am a jerk?" she asks, implying it's the other way around. "Because I take a picture? I come home to you laying there with a-..." her chuckling re-emerges, causing her shoulders to bounce up and down as she sits back on her shoes in front of Yan Sun, "...a penis on your face, and I am the bad one!?" She jabs her index finger into Yan Sun's side, giving her a hard poke.
Yan Sun stares at Jessica with an unamused expression. The poke causes her to squirm and let out a "Gnaahstop.", scooting away to get out of reach. "You are the most annoying person I've ever met, you know that, right?" she asks, somewhere halfway between a snicker and a weary sigh.
Jessica shifts to sit on her ass beside Yan Sun, back against the wall and extending her legs out in front of her across the bed. "Mmm. Maybe. But I am thinking that you like it." she says with a smug grin as she looks to her side at Yan Sun. She suddenly realizes she left her omni-tool on the other side of the bed and kicks at it with her shoe to drag it closer. When it's within arms reach, she lazily scoops it up and sets it
beside her. She casually reaches out, jabbing another finger into Yan Sun's side in an attempt to continue her annoyance.
Yan Sun raises an eyebrow, and seems about to challenge this assumption when she's poked, once again causing her to squirm in place, but she takes the opportunity to try and snatch Jessica's omni-tool, and if successful, swipe through more of the pictures in the 'Kitty Cat' folder.
Jessica's omni-tool is successfully swiped. "You bitch!" Jessica shouts, immediately scooting right up against Yan Sun and wrapping an arm around her neck in a sort of side-headlock as her other hand goes for the omni-tool but she's unable to stop Yan Sun from swiping. It's a playful struggle, but there's definitely some urgency in her movement. As Yan Sun swipes, she's treated to a few of the photos she and Jessica have taken
together. Selfies and goofy faces abound. Then, one at the dam, taken unbeknownst to Yan Sun as she looked out over the water below. It's a beautiful picture. The next is an extreme closeup of one of Yan Sun's nostrils, taken accidentally when Jessica was in the middle of adjusting settings.
Yan Sun extends her arm as far from Jessica as she can, struggling to look at the photos from her rather awkward position in the headlock. She grins as she swipes from picture to picture, and lingers for a moment at the dam picture. The next one causes her to break into full-on laughter even as she struggles against Jessica's attempts to reclaim the omni-tool. She keeps looking through pictures best she can, although she has a
hard time pressing the right buttons on the haptic interface as she keeps getting yanked back and forth.
Jessica leans heavily against Yan Sun in an attempt at extending her reach for the omni-tool. The next photograph is from their trip to the spaceport. A shot of Yan Sun from behind as they walked home. Yan Sun is looking off to her side, showing her face in profile. Another nice, artistic photograph. The following, however, not so much. It seems to be from the same day. Maybe even taken mere moments later. And it's just a zoomed in
picture of Yan Sun's butt. As Yan Sun presses at the buttons, she manages to back out of the folder and a picture pops up from the set Burdy sent her. It shows Jessica sitting in one of the seats at Burdy's parlor, arm propped up with a freshly applied tattoo on the top of her right hand. It's a colorful blue bird and extends from her wrist to her knuckles. Each finger on her right hand has a different letter tattooed on
them. F-U-C-K. She's biting down and baring her teeth at the camera as she pulls a goofy face, her classic 'Jessica photo face'. She has long, slightly curly dark hair in he photograph. A stark contrast from her current hairstyle. As the photo comes up, Jessica stops her struggling and frowns. She removes her arm from around Yan Sun's neck and jabs an elbow into her side softly. Just enough to be annoying.
Yan Sun stops her buttonmashing as the last picture comes up. She relaxes as Jessica withdraws her arm, and a smile briefly crosses her face, but the elbow jab causes her to glance over at Jessica, hints of sadness in her eyes as she studies her. She leans over and plants a kiss on her neck before bringing the omni-tool closer, letting the hand holding it come to rest between their knees. She reaches for Jessica's right hand with
Jessica settles down and rests back against the wall as she looks over the picture, her gaze focused on the omni-tool interface even as Yan Sun looks her way. "I like that tattoo..." she says simply, somewhat distantly, trying to hide the frustration that comes along with seeing herself without all of the burns. She doesn't react to the kiss, though she tenses up slightly at Yan Sun's fingertips brushing against her burned skin.
She's made a lot of progress with feeling comfortable in her own skin around Yan Sun- or at least ignoring the discomfort- but it was a little harder to do when the issue was, literally, staring you back in the face. "You don't need to do that, kitty cat." she sighs.
Yan Sun frowns slightly, enclosing Jessica's hand in her own and giving it a squeeze while carefully swiping to the next picture, keeping the omni-tool easily within Jessica's reach.
Jessica shuffles in place a bit, leaning her head against Yan Sun's as the next photo comes up. It's another one taken by Burdy or one of his workers post-tattoo. Her head is tilted to her left and she's using her hand to hold her hair back and show off a fresh star tattoo on her right temple. It's designed to match the ones Yan Sun has seen on her side. Martin is partially in frame sitting in a seat beside her with a big smile on
his face. Jessica stares at the photo- at Martin- for a few moments before she sighs and reaches out to shut down the omni-tool. "I am getting bored." she says, doing her best to sidestep the situation as usual as the photo dissipates along with the rest of the interface.
Yan Sun leans a little against Jessica as they look at the photo. She relinquishes the omni-tool as it's shut down, an almost imperceptibly quiet sigh escaping her. She gives a faint nod, which is likely felt more than seen as their heads are still leaned against each other. Once again she considers saying something, but stops herself, looking down at their hands in silence for a while. "I meant what I said about your photos..."
Jessica shakes her head, giving a sigh and a roll of her eye. "You are an idiot. And no I'm not." she says calmly, giving a slight nudge into Yan Sun as she takes back the omni-tool. It's clear her mood has been further soured by the impromptu reminders, but she's doing her best to play it off. "Is my favorite picture of you. I think you are even drooling in it." she adds with a nod.
Yan Sun sighs. She probably should've taken the opportunity to delete it herself while she had the chance. "Just... don't show the pictures to anyone...?" she bargains, although the faint frown on her face as she lifts her head to look at Jessica is more sad than annoyed, no doubt aware of the drop in her mood.
Jessica cocks an eyebrow. She sighs loudly to indicate her annoyance. "Fine...." she agrees before clarifying. "You are no fun. I won't show anybody... else..." she says, implying she's already shown the picture to someone. Well aware that this is probably going to annoy Yan Sun, a smile has already began to creep back into her features.
Jessica's annoying snicker makes its return as she leans her head far enough away from Yan Sun to look at her. "Mmm. I show my boss." she admits. "I am thinking maybe she is hoping for more. Oh! Is probably even why she asked me to send some pictures!" She pretend to contemplate it for a moment. "When you are going to sleep tonight, mmm?"
Yan Sun blinks. "N-... wh-... wait, you're serious. You showed-..." She shakes her head, obviously embarrassed as she turns her gaze straight ahead. "You. Are. Such. An. Ass." she says, biting her lips.
Jessica bursts into full-on laughter at Yan Sun's embarrassment. "Awww! Don't be like this, kitty cat!" she taunts, "You look so cute all curled up!" At any rate, it seems to have shifted her away from the photos. "Why you are so embarrassed? Mmm? Is fine. She doesn't give a fuck if you have a penis on your face."
Yan Sun seems considerably less amused than Jessica, continuing to stare straight ahead, her embarrassment only growing - obvious not just from her dismayed expression, but the increase in red in her face. She grabs a pillow, lifting her knees and resting the pillow against them before burying her face in it. A few muffled curses follow.
Jessica continues to get amusement from Yan Sun's misery. She presses a hand against Yan Sun's upper back, rubbing it in small circles. Not so much to be comforting, but more of an insincere gesture to continue her teasing. "Is fine!" she repeats through her laughter, "Is fine! I won't show anybody else! Mmm? Is good, yes?"
Yan Sun groans. "Yeah... because I'm deleting it!" she exclaims, before lunging for the omni-tool rather suddenly.
03Jessica having the omni-tool in her hand, immediately reaches far back to keep it out of Yan Sun's reach. "You see!?" she exclaims, rushing to get her forearm up to keep Yan Sun back, "You-... gah-... why you think you are tough today!? Mmm!? Stop it! Is my picture!"
Yan Sun continues her attempts to reach the omni-tool despite the arm blocking her path, practically crawling over Jessica as she strains to reach it. "Yeah- a really embarassing picture. Of me. That you took without my knowledge! Just-... give me-..."
Jessica continues to cackle despite being knocked backwards. She swings her arm around and wiggles, rocking back and forth to try and shove the omni-tool into her pocket. She continues to try and hold Yan Sun back with her other arm, grabbing hold of her shirt in a tight grip. "Now I am going post it alllll over the extranet! Is your own fault! You keep pushing me!"
Yan Sun keeps clawing for the omni-tool, but when it goes into Jessica's pocket she gives up, allowing her body to relax with a sigh. She's more or less lying sideways across her, her flustered expression remaining as her energy drains. "Such an ass." she repeats in a mumble, remaining where she is.
Jessica still seems quite amused, her laughter having died down somewhat during the struggle, but a big grin still remains on her face. She releases her grip on Yan Sun's shirt and lays back against the bed. "You try to delete my picture. You are the ass!" she insists, shifting the blame on to Yan Sun. She lifts her other hand from her pocket and flicks Yan Sun on the nose. "And that is for talking all of your shit! You are
Yan Sun turns her head to look over at Jessica's face, but continues to lie on he belly across her, showing no inclination to move. Of course, as soon as she does her nose is flicked, causing her to grimace and plant her right hand on Jessica's face, pushing it away.
Jessica shuts her eyes as she's facepalmed. It certainly shuts down her snickering. "Gah! You see!? You hit me!" she shouts, bringing a hand to her face. "I warn you! You don't listen!" She shifts in place a bit before bringing a hand to Yan Sun's throat and using the momentum to push her onto her back and climb on top of her. "Now I am going to kick your ass!"
Yan Sun lets out a surprised noise which quickly turns into a snicker as Jessica rolls her over climbs on top of her. She brings up a hand in a vague attempt to shield herself, or perhaps tug the hand away from her throat, but it's little more than a token effort judging by the sudden appearance of a grin across her lips.
Jessica postures up, using her knees to climb higher up Yan Sun until she's nearly sitting on her chest. She swats at Yan Sun's hand with her own free hand a few times before finally grabbing her by the wrist and pressing it against the bed forcefully. She rests her knees on Yan Sun's shoulders to pin her down, her other hand still remaining pressed against her throat. "You think this is funny, mmm?" she asks, "You hit me in the
face!" Now that Yan Sun's shoulders are pinned, she brings her hand that was controlling Yan Sun's wrist over and flicks her across the nose again. "Maybe I should hit you in the face, mmmm!?" she threatens playfully, doing her best to look menacing despite the obvious lighthearted nature of her threat.
Yan Sun 's grin only grows as she's pinned against the bed, causing her wriggling to stop. She seems completely unable to hide her immediate reaction, which can really only be described as giddy. "No! No, it's-... it's not funny at all!" she exclaims, although it's undercut by the giggle that follows.
Jessica sits back, putting much of her weight on Yan Sun as she looks down at her. Probably not exactly comfortable. Her hand tightens around Yan Sun's throat slightly. Just enough to be remain playful. Well, Jessica-playful. "Keep laughing!" she continues to threaten as her other hand moves to Yan Sun's cheek. She caresses the back of her hand against her cheek gently a few times before suddenly giving a few of her annoying
Yan Sun 's giggling dies down as she finds her throat constrained, but her grin remains - at least until the pressure on her shoulder causes her to grimace slightly, her expression somewhere between excitement and discomfort as she looks up at Jessica. She flinches slightly from the light slaps, wriggling a little - but her arms remain pinned under Jessica's legs, so there's little she can do but stare up at her. A grin starts to
Jessica cocks an eyebrow, releasing her grip on Yan Sun's throat with a sigh and a roll of her eye. "Gah! I can't even get my revenge because I might accidentally get you off." she teases, forcing a frown, though she makes no attempt to move. "Why you are such a freak? Mmm?" Her hand slides down from Yan Sun's throat to the top of her shirt and then back to her neck.
Yan Sun blinks. "Wh-... that's n-... shut up." she manages, looking a little embarrassed at being called out - but her grin still returns even as she tries to look offended by the accusation.
Jessica glares at Yan Sun and tilts her head to the side as if to say 'really?' She shifts back and forth, just to put a little more pressure onto Yan Sun. Her scowl gives way to a grin as she sits back and seems to get comfortable with her position. "Mmm. You see? I know you too much." she says, glancing back over her shoulder, "Alllll your secrets." She presses her palm against Yan Sun's belly, tugging up the bottom of her shirt
with her fingertips. She begins walking her fingers across Yan Sun's belly until it reaches the top of her pants, but then she immediately retreats her fingers back across Yan Sun's stomach with a snicker.
Yan Sun squirms, her legs moving fruitlessly as Jessica's fingers cross her belly. She does a poor job of suppressing the giggles that follow, resorting to pressing her face against the side of one of the knees pressing down on her shoulders. "Huhmmmhhn... y-... yeah?"
Jessica gives a sigh to go with her nod. "Mmm. I know exactly what you want." she hums, running her other hand through Yan Sun's hair and grabbing a tuft between her fingers, forcing her to look up at her. "And..." she continues, leaning back once again to run her hand back across Yan Sun's belly. This time, when it reaches her pants, she unbuttons them. "...Maybe I am thinking-..." she says, glancing off to the side as if to
contemplate something, "...The best revenge is to not give you want you want, mmmm?" she teases, looking back to Yan Sun between her knees with a devilish grin as she absentmindedly flicks at the flaps of her pants
Yan Sun 's lopsided grin wavers only briefly as she's made to look up at her. As Jessica speaks she nods very faintly - of course, she couldn't really move her head much more if she wanted to. The conclusion causes her grin to evaporate, however, an unamused look on her face. "What-... no, that's not-... huh?"
Jessica shrugs her shoulders. "Mmm. Is the only way." she teases, returning to look back over her shoulder as she continues to run her hand back and forth across Yan Sun's stomach. "You do this to yourself, kitty cat." Her hand moves slightly lower with each pass, eventually going just low enough for her fingertips to press against the top of Yan Sun's panties. "I warn you, yes? You keep on with your bullshit. This is what you get."
