It is the 20th of December, closing in on 9pm.
#VVApartment – November 29, 2019
Va'ynna steps into the apartment. She was walked home by Uvena today, and may have forgotten to call ahead to say that she is home early. She hangs up the jacket and disables its active heating. She is wearing a dark green shirt and black pants.
Victoria was in the kitchen making a sandwich for herself, when she heard the apartment door opening. "Is that you Va'ynna?" She stopped making herself a sandwich to go check. Vicky is wearing a blue shirt and black pants.
Va'ynna continues into the apartment, rounding the corner. "Yeah," she says. "The kitchen closed early tonight." There's no joy to be found in her tone, but that could be the sleep deprivation that compounds every day as the workload has taken away any chance to nap. She stops right next to Victoria by the counter, casting a glance down at the sandwich she's putting together.
Victoria gives a smile. "That's good, you'll be able to sleep longer tonight." Vicky went back to her sandwich, which was just some meat and sauce, nothing impressive. "I got a little peckish, so decided to make a sandwich. You can have half if you want."
Va'ynna offers a tiny smile. "No, I'm fine, I had dinner just a few hours ago," she says and moves over to sit down in the couch. The asari is struggling to keep her eyes open, perhaps too used to going straight to bed right after coming home.
Victoria begins to eat her sandwich in the kitchen, she sees Va'ynna in her tired state. "How about you go for a shower to warm up before bed. Might do you some good to warm up and relax before bed." She was mainly throwing out suggestions.
Va'ynna hums thoughtfully. "My... plan was simpler: close my eyes... and wake up in my bed tomorrow morning," she says with a smile. Her tone of voice fails to convey whether she's joking or not.
Victoria continues eating her sandwich with a smile on her face. "Normally I carry you to bed when you are awake. Not much in it for you taking you to bed asleep." She focuses on finishing off her sandwich, before doing anything else.
Va'ynna tilts her head. "I can," yawn, "try to stay awake?" she offers. Her attention is still on Victoria as she waits for her to join her or even better, do as Va'ynna requests.
Victoria quickly finishes her sandwich, she puts her plate in the sink and quickly washes her face. She begins to walk over to Va'ynna. "You do know I spoil you, yeah? Stand up, so it is easier for me to pick you up."
Va'ynna gives a tight-lipped smile. "I... wasn't being serious," she says, "but... I'm... not going to say no." She stands up straight and places a hand on her shoulder.
Victoria gives a smirk. "I did not say it would be a good carry." She grabs Va'ynna by the hips and lifts her up to carry her over right shoulder. "Thank goodness you are lite, or this might be difficult." She stands making her way to the bedroom with Va'ynna over her shoudler.
Va'ynna gasps as she's lifted over Victoria's shoulder, but there's some subdued laughter coming from her. "You... expected I would sleep through that?" she asks. She doesn't do anything funny for now, the surprise of it, the discomfort and her fatigued state clouding her creativity.
Victoria was going to give a shrug but realised that would cause more discomfort for her lover. "If you were asleep, I would have been gentle. But, since you are awake there is no need to use caution." As Vicky was carrying Va'ynna, slaps Va'ynna behind. "Just like that, would not have done that if you were asleep."
Va'ynna gasps at the slap, but the words following can't help but bring back the smile on her face. "You're so nice," she says, her flat tired voice hiding the still obvious sarcasm. She tries to pick her back pockets, but the clumsy movements of an upside-down, tired asari is not exactly stealthy.
Victoria notices her hand movements. "Now what are you trying to do there, sweetheart? Not really being stealthy there." Wanting to see what answer the asari would come up with.
Va'ynna stops as she's caught. "Am I... not allowed to touch you?" she asks, her voice a bit muffled as she doesn't try to speak up enough to be heard as her head is close to Victoria's back.
Victoria gives a smile. "If that's the case, you did not have to stop." She walks into the bedroom and slowly makes her way next to the bed. "You don't need permission to touch me, Va'ynna. I'm yours, you understand me."
Va'ynna is quiet for a few seconds before sighing. "I was... checking for things to steal from your pockets," she admits. When she knows Victoria is near the bed, she gives Victoria's lower back a gentle push in a weak attempt to help get off of her shoulder.
Victoria moves to lift down Va'ynna to her feet, and keeps Va'ynna's back to the bed. "I don't really keep anything in my pockets, when I am home sweetie." She gives Va'ynna a quick kiss on the cheek, before she pushes Va'ynna onto the bed and chuckles a little as she does it.
Va'ynna sighs relieved at finally being upright again. "What else was I supposed to do-...," she begins, but she's interrupted by being pushed into the bed with a gasp. She doesn't bother with sitting up right away, and looks up at the ceiling as she says, "I guess... this is my lesson to be careful what I ask for, isn't it?"
Victoria crawls onto the bed and on top of Va'ynna. "Yet again, only because you are awake." Victoria gives Va'ynna a kiss on the lips. "But I guess I'm feeling a little playful, and saw this as a chance to be a little disobedient."
Va'ynna places her hands on the side of Victoria's waist as she's climbed over, and returns the kiss. "When are you not?" she asks with a giggle before going for another kiss, also on the lips.
Victoria smiles into the kiss and puts her right hand on Va'ynna waist. "You know, I alway try to be on my best behaviour. But sometimes, it is just too fun to be disobendient."
