#Hospital – September 3, 2015

Jason is currently in one of the surgical recovery rooms. Numerous signs posted throughout the hospital would point the way there. The room itself is small with a single bed against a wall, a screen mounted on the opposite wall, a table with a couple chairs, and a few general pieces of hospital equipment. Jason is seated in the middle of the room in a wheelchair, slowly rotating himself in

circles as an asajura game blares loudly on the screen.

Jason is dressed in a pair of soft, ugly blue pants held up by a drawstring and a white tanktop. His new arms are a grey color. They're very clearly artificial, with no chance of them being mistaken for real flesh-and-bone arms. The prosthetic itself extends past the shoulder, taking up a bit of real-estate on his chest as well.

Sioria walks down the many hallways of the hospital, without as much as a limp as she had before. Following the signs, the turian in desert camoflague armour makes her way to the surgical recovery rooms, as requested. Time for an audience with the boss, and probably get orders. Sitting around for so long's giving her itchy feet. Finally she approaches the main room and knocks on the door.

"Hey Boss, you decent? Its Felcolus." she asks.

Jason starts at the noise, glancing over towards the door. His wheelchair lists backwards for a moment as he struggles to clasp his hand down on the wheel. It teeters dangerously far backwards before his fingers clamp shut and he slowly lowers himself forward. He gives a laugh of victory, "Not this time, fucker!" he cheers before realizing Sioria may think he's speaking to her. "Oh! Yeah,

as decent as ever." he calls out.

Sioria opens the door with a smirk. "Talking to yourself there, boss? First sign of madness, y'know." she says before walking inside. "You needed to see me? What's up?" she asks before leaning against the table. "Got something for me, or is this just a social call?" She crosses her arms with a smile, glancing at his arms. "Nice gear. You should try fit an SMG or something into them. It'd be

pretty sweet."

Jason blinks a few times. "Yeah..." he nods along with her, "...Yeah... Alright, just shut up now...."

Sioria chuckles with a smirk, and nods at Jason to do his thing, staying quiet now

A nurse pops her head into the room with an exhausted look on her face. "Mr. Wolfe. For the last time, can you please turn it down? We're getting complaints."

Jason scowls as he glances over at the door. "I mean... I just lost both of my arms." he says, putting on the puppy dog eyes as he gives a glance down at his new cybernetics, "I'm practically drowning in depression. I'm on painkillers that I can't even pronounce. The only thing that cheers me up is the highlights. You know, since I missed the game because I was getting what was left of my

arms hacked off." He sighs dramatically, "But, I suppose I could turn it down...."

The nurse rolls her eyes and pulls the door closed as she leaves.

Jason smiles and returns his attention to Sioria. "So.... We're gonna be heading off-world as soon as I get these new gizmos under control. I called you here to discuss a bit of work detail. You able to take up a shift over at the dam or the mines while the rest of us are gone? Fill in a few holes?"

Sioria hums and frowns a little, before softening her expression. "Yeah, I'm free. Security job, yeah?" she smiles a little. "At least I've got security experience. You got it, chief." She finally sits on the edge of the table instead of leaning on it. "Where're you guys headed? If its not confidential, of course."

Kim arrives in front of the door and steps inside after it slides open. She's currently wearing a fairly modest blue dress that goes down to her knees and keeping her hair straight down to accentuate the look. There's signs of makeup on her face at even a cursory glance. She knocks on the wall after stopping and glances inside the room for a moment before looking towards the two already

in the room.

Jason gives Sioria a nod. "Yeah. Security. I can't really go into any de-..." he begins when Tessa makes her arrival. "Kim!" he shouts, "You made it! You-..." he brings one of his hands up to his face. It's a slow and unnatural process, the arm moving in a straight line right towards him with no deviation to the left or the right. His index finger slowly extends outward, poking him in the

cheek, causing his face to contort into one of discomfort. "St-... stop..." he mutters under his breath, as if it might do something. Finally, he gets his finger where he wants and the wrist slowly rotates until his finger is near his eye. "...You got a lil' something on your face." he says.

Sioria looks over at the other woman and nods in greeting, then looks back at Jason. Poor bastard. Getting a hold of cybernetics would probably take a while. Not that she'd know, of course.

Kim laughs softly and steps into the room while she moves over to one of the chairs. She places her ass directly on one of the chairs and crosses her legs before responding.

Yeah, I know. It's hideous. My dear sister insisted I wear makeup and she's just as hopeless at applying it as I am. You'll have to deal with it for today, sadly.

(=)

Jason frowns at the mention of her sister. His hand remains exactly where he left it, right in front of his face. "What's the occasion?" he asks before giving a shake of his head, "Why are you even listening to her?" He seems to notice his hand suddenly and it slowly lowers to his side. He doesn't speak as it lowers. Once beside him, he looks over at Sioria and shakes his head as he comes

to a realization. "Have you two even met?" he asks, glancing back to Kim.

Sioria shakes her head. "Nope." she says, then offers Kim her hand to shake. "Sioria Felcolus." she says with a smile. "Pleasure to meet you."

Kim purses her lips towards Jason and shakes her head slightly as he finishes speaking, then grins towards the turian in return and offers her arm for a handshake. She awkwardly shakes once and moves her gaze towards Jason. "Tessa Dellan. Nice to meet you as well, Sioria," she states before returning her gaze to the one she's actually speaking to. "I assume you're one of our new teammates?"

(=)

Jason 's eyes go wide as the word 'Tessa' exits her lips. "Kim Polner!" he says loudly over Tessa as she lets out the perceived slip. "Kim Polner!" he repeats with a nod, "Her name is Kim Polner." For a moment it seems as though he may even spell it out as he glances over at Tessa, nodding slowly.

Kim rolls her eyes with a small sigh. "Secret's out, Jason. No point in hiding my name anymore."

Jason lets out a deep breath and relaxes into his seat. "Oh thank fuck. Cuz, I gotta be honest, I call you Tessa to, like, everyone." he admits apologetically. "I don't even mean to. It just slips out. Every. Single. Time. I think this was probably one of the first times I've called you Kim." He seems as though a boulder has been lifted from his shoulders.

Sioria smiles at Tessa... kim? "That I am Tess... kim... er... yeah." she says, thrown for a loop a little. "I... won't ask. But yeah, I'm one of the new team members." She seems rather proud of that. "How long've you been with the agency? Don't think I saw you on our last run."

Kim nods and leans back into the chair. "Indeed. Please, just call me Tessa, or Tess for short. I've been with the agency since it began, basically. I've been out of the loop lately, though. I guess in this case it was lucky that I was, right?" she asks while giving a knowing smirk towards Jason.

(=)

Jason sighs and gives a nod. "Speaking of which... I-..." he gains a guilty look for a moment and tilts his head to the side, "...I kinda think you should sit this next one out, too." He bites his lower lip for a moment as he studies his old friend, "It's... sensitive. You know there's not many people out there I trust as much as you, but with everything going on with your sister, I just

think we'd all be safer... Besides, I need someone to stay behind and oversee the day-to-day operations while we're off-planet." He goes quiet as he awaits the woman's response.

Kim slams a fist down on the table and leans forward with a scowl on her face.

Sioria looks between the two, then focus' on Tess. "Guess that means you're my NCO for a bit." she says with a smile, then jumps as the fist lands on the table, almost pushing her off. "Okay, shutting up now." she says, taking a step away.

"My sister is irrelevant to this. If you think I'm going to let that be a reason for me to stay back, then you have another thing coming. Besides, do you think I'm qualified to manage anything, even for a few days? You're delusional."

(=)

Jason winces. He goes to put up his hands apologetically, but it takes an awkward amount of time as one hand raises slightly, then the other raises to meet the first hand's height, then eventually, the wrists slowly rotate until his palms are outward. "Tess, please... You are the most qualified to manage things. You've been with us for so long-..." he sighs and shakes his head. "I'm not

gonna disrespect you by giving you the run around." he continues, slowing down to choose his words very carefully, "I don't expect you to put yourself in danger regarding your situation. What we're getting involved with would be very interesting to the council. I've no doubt about that. I can't expect you to lie or with-hold information from your sister to protect the rest of us. So I just

won't put that on you. It's a best-case-scenario for everyone. Besides, I do need someone to keep everyone rallied. Make sure they're making it to their shifts. Keeping everything operating smoothly. Please..." he trails off.

Sioria offers no input, instead her eyes shift from Tess to Jason, ready to jump in if she needs to.

Kim balls her hand up into a fist and shakes for a moment, then sighs loudly and leans back in her chair. "Fine, I get it. Don't think I'm going to let you live it down, though."

Jason eases up a bit, slowly lowering his arms back to his side. "Understood. We just need to come up with a way of getting you out of this pickle you're in..." he sighs. "For now, though?" he glances between the two, "What I can tell you is that the rest of us will be leaving as soon as I get these things under control-..." He glances down at one of his arms and slowly lifts it. Once it's out

in front of him, he bends his elbow at a 90 degree angle, moving his forearm up in front of his face, then lowers it back down. He repeats the slow, awkward process a few times with a big frown on his face. "Doc said it'll probably take me about a week. So once the kinks are worked out, we should be gone for about a week. I can't guarantee we'll even have extranet access to get messages back,

so we might be completely dark. I'll have Mendez get the information to you two. You can go over the schedule and make sure it all works out alright, Tess."

Sioria nods at Jason in understanding. "Understood, chief." she says, folding her arms and leaning against the wall. She's a bit irked that she's not going off-world again, but if the admin want her here, its most likely for the best.

Kim nods, but she's still frowning and her eyebrows are still furrowed. "I gotcha. I'll... see what I can do."

It's nothing too complicated. We've got three concurrent contracts. The Respite, the dam, and Hnipinn Mines. Just make sure there's always somebody on duty. Jasper will be around to taxi people around.

Jason glances between the two, "Any questions?"

Sioria shakes her head at Jason. "Nah, all good." she says. "Guard duty shouldn't be too much a hassle."

"They'll be made aware of the arrangements, correct? I don't want to start checking on people and have people giving me blank looks."

(=)

Jason gives a nod. "Of course..." he gives a tilt of his head and a shrug, "...probably. I'm on a fuckton of meds right now." he continues with a goofy smile, "I'll try and get a message out to everyone else that's not coming along as soon as I can. Now onto more important matters: The hell is with the facepaint? You hitting the parties without me?"

Sioria blinks and strokes along one of the green lines painted on her face, then crosses her arms again. She knew he was talking to Tessa, but reflexes prevailed this time.

Kim rolls her eyes. "Ugh... I wish. I had a 'meeting,'" she states with air quotes. "Nothing that I care about, but apparently it might be my problem if something happens."

Jason furrows his brow, clearly not following. "Guessing it has to do with Miss Daggerback?" he sighs, "Well, you know if there's anything I can do to help, all you gotta do is ask."

Sioria looks at Tessa and nods, signalling the same sentiment.

"Yeah, I know," Tessa states before turning back to Sioria with a sheepish grim. "Er, sorry, you probably have no idea what's going on."

Sioria shrugs. "Nope, and its not my place to question it either." she says with a smile. "Do your thing, I'm pretty much just here for the ride."

Jason glances over at Sioria apologetically as well. "Sorry... Suppose I never really got the chance to touch base with you after the last operation, either. I-... I know it was probably pretty eye opening. The things you saw out there? I just-... I hope you're handling it alright."

Sioria gives Jason a small smile. "Still get the odd nightmare here and there, but I'm holding up okay. Foot's nearly healed and my head's pretty clear, I'm just about fit for duty. Don't worry about me." she gives him a nod. Sioria might not seem like it, but she can be tough when she needs to be. "Just let me know when our medical package covers phsycologist visits."

Kim uncrosses her legs and stands up. She stretches her arms, then scowls when she realizes she can't stretch her legs as well. "Anyway, I thought I'd come visit since this was the first time I could get away for the moment. I should be going back pretty soon, so I'll be heading out. Don't injure yourself with those arms, okay?"

Jason sighs as Sioria mentions the nightmares. "We've all been there." he says with a nod, recalling his previous stand-off with Damien, "Just-... don't keep it all inside. If you need someone to talk to, contact one of us. Doubt there's anyone at Redrock that would turn down some good conversation over a beer." He offers a small smile before turning his attention back to Tess. "No promises.

Using these things is like trying to pedal a bicycle with your hands..." he leans forward in his seat, eyes widening on Tess, "...But you have no hands. It's weird." He frowns upon realizing his analogy made absolutely no sense, but he decides against calling attention to it. "Take care Kim-..." he gives a shake of his head, shutting his eyes momentarily as he corrects himself, "Tess! Take

care, Tess! See this shit? I just got the hang of Kim and now you're back to Tess..."

Sioria chuckles and pushes off the wall. She walks over to Jason and gives him a firm pat on the mechanical shoulder. "You got it. If there isn't anything else, I'll head off. Take care, chief." She takes a few steps away, then looks over her shoulder before turning. "Hey, if you need some sparring practice to help get used to your arms, let me know. I'll hook you up." She nods at Tess as

she turns. "I'll catch you later, Tess. You've got my contact details, yeah?"

Jason winces slightly as a dull pain shoots through his body upon the turian's touch making contact with his shoulder, but he does his best to hide it. "Sure, sure. Just Jason, though, yeah?" he requests, "Or Wolfe, or boss, or-... Hell, I don't care, Asshole is good enough. Whatever works for you. Just not Chief." He tilts his head to the side, a hint of sadness on his face.

Kim slips out of the room, then turns back towards Sioria. "Not right now no, but we'll be in contact out of necessity before too long, so I'm not worried. Good luck, Jason," she shoots back into the room before walking down the hallway and out of sight.

Sioria smiles at the man and nods. "Sure thing, Jason." she says "Catch you later." And then nods at Tess in turn before leaving the room. That went well, she felt.

Jason leans his head against the back of his seat and rotates the wheelchair to face the screen. A smile crosses his lips as he watches a highlight of his favorite team scoring a goal... or making a point... or whatever it is they do in asajura. He still hasn't figured the game out. He goes to extends his arms out to his side to cheer, but the movement doesn't come naturally. A quick and

sudden reminder. His smile slowly fades away as he looks over the new arms and sucks in a deep breath.
