Jason agrees with a short nod. "I'm sure it's just a case of mistaken identity, V." he says confidently, "Renala has no reason to steal a car. We'll get to the bottom of it and help your mom." He gives the asari a quick glance, "Promise."

Va'ynna takes a step towards him and wraps her arms around him in a hug. "Thank you," she says before taking a shaky breath. "That... means a lot."

Jason seems a bit caught off guard for a moment, but quickly wraps his arms around the asari and gives her a few pats on the back. "Don't mention it, V. I'll get a message out to your mom as soon as I've had a chance to talk to Renala. I'll make sure to keep you in the loop if I find anything out. Work for you?"

Va'ynna gives a faint nod, not letting go of the hug. "Mhm," she says.
