Yan Sun shoots the bottle a glance after Jessica withdraws it. "How do you stomach that stuff...?" she mutters as she activates the interface on her left hand, adjusting the settings on the projector. "...it's not really meant for illumination, but I figure it should be able to make things a bit less, uh... pitch black." she offers in explanation as she types, before taking another bite from her food still held in her right hand.
#AbandonedPrefab – February 4, 2019
Jessica pointedly reaches for the bottle and takes another drink as Yan Sun questions her. A nice, long pull from the bottle, ending with a pleased sigh as if she just had a refreshing drink. The strong drink seems to have other plans, though. The overpowering burn in her throat from the strong drink that isn't meant to be drank straight threatens to make her cough and her face contorts into an expression that looks far less enjoyable
than she's trying to play off. As she sets the bottle back down she licks at the roof of her mouth. "Is good." she says simply. She's quick to chase down the booze with another large bite from the chunk of meat handing off the end of her fork as she watches Yan Sun.
Yan Sun pauses her typing for a moment, just shooting Jessica a long, skeptical look. "...riiight." she says before shaking her head and returning her attention to her hand, a small smirk crossing her lips. A little bit later the holo-projector comes to life, a ring of blue light appearing on the surface of the device, and, with that, a projection of the Milky Way galaxy that hovers near the ceiling of the abandoned bedroom, the dense swirl
of stars acting like a rather impressive night light, bathing the room in a faint blue glow. Seeming quite pleased with herself she de-activates her omni-tool interface, looking up at the projection for a time before turning her attention to Jessica and taking another bite despite her increasingly dry mouth.
Jessica watches the holo-projector as it begins to emit a ring of light. The show that follows causes her to look up, gaze fixed to the swirl of lights as she idly nibbles at the remaining carashan steak at the end of her fork. A small smile tugs at her lips as she chews, attention firmly on the projection for a while until she seems to grow acutely aware of the fact. "Mmm." she hums with that familiar poor attempt at appearing
Yan Sun shoots Jessica a small smile, continuing to chew in silence for a bit. The galaxy above slowly, idly, rotates as they eat. Upon swallowing she licks her lips, eyebrows furrowing a little. "Did-... did we not bring any glasses...?" she asks with a dismayed look towards the jug of water, although a hint of thoughtfulness starts to take over as she studies it.
Jessica gives a small shrug. "There is cups. But they are Kirill's gross metal cups. But why you are needing a glass? Mmm?" she asks, furrowing her brow and thrusting the bottle towards Yan Sun once again, not even considering that she might mean for water. "Is a little too late if you are afraid of my germs, kitty cat." she says through a grin. "I get them allllll over you already."
Yan Sun rolls her eyes, a small smirk crossing her lips. "Yeah, I-... I didn't really mean for that..." she clarifies, eyeing the bottle of potent alien poison with a grimace.
Jessica pulls the last bit of meat off of her fork with her teeth, her other hand coming to rest on the neck of the bottle when she sets it back down. She furrows her brow in confusion for a moment before seemingly recalling the water with an abrupt, "Oh!" She casts a look around, having to lean awkwardly to reach the large, unwieldy jug and slide it closer to her. She studies the jug before casting a judgmental glance Yan Sun's way.
"This is for washing." she explains. The grin returns to her face as she raises the bottle slightly. "This is for drinking. Or maybe you are wanting to wash with this? Mmm?" she asks. But after further consideration, there's a small lift of her left brow. "Maybe this is not so much of a bad idea. I can lick you clean." she teases with a wiggle of her eyebrow.
Yan Sun frowns a little, not seeming too happy about the idea of subsisting off of the very strong batarian ale overnight, although the final comment causes her expression to be broken up by a slightly embarrassed smirk, prodding Jessica's leg with her foot and letting out a muttered "Shut up..." She stares at the bottle for a moment before sighing, holding out her hand. "Fine..." she relents, a hesitant look on her face.
Jessica slaps the bottle into Yan Sun's hand, a look of victory etched onto her face at getting her to drink it. She sets her fork back onto the pan and prods at her omni-tool interface for a moment, only half-paying attention to it as she awaits the expected grunt of disgust that's sure to escape Yan Sun with glee.
Yan Sun clearly doesn't learn her lessons very quick, and takes a fairly long sip from the bottle, thirsty as she is. She manages to swallow most of it before her face contorts into disgust and she goes into a choked coughing fit in response to the burn of the strong drink meant for a species with a more robust biology. Her eyes water as she coughs into the back of her hand, just barely holding onto the neck of the bottle.
Jessica instantly bursts into laughter, hunching forward at the waist as she watches it play out. It just never gets old. "You are such a pussy." she taunts. She grabs the jug of water by the handle and slides it across the floor towards Yan Sun, still snickering along happily. "Just drink it from the jug or something." she says as if that should be obvious, "You do not need a cup." With a shake of her head she turns her attention
Yan Sun continues to stifle her coughs for a time, shooting Jessica half-hearted glare from behind her hand, the smell of the ale once she finally stops and breathes out enough to make tears slips from her watering eyes. She's quick to wipe her sleeve against her face with a grumble. "...you suck..." she grumbles with an almost comically hoarse voice, thrusting the bottle back towards her.
Jessica continues her mocking snickering as she accepts the bottle and sets it back down. Her other hand continues to prod at the interface of her omni-tool and she finds herself splitting her attention between it and Yan Sun. In an attempt at proving to Yan Sun she wasn't lying, she silently sets her omni-tool to the frequency that the local boogeyman has been known to broadcast on, hoping for a glorious scare when his creepy voice
comes on but, unfortunately, the scan comes up empty. Nothing found. She's not particularly bothered by it, however, and soon enough she shuts down the interface to conserve power since they now have the holo-projector for light, her gaze just remaining on Yan Sun. She leans back slightly, hands coming to rest on the floor behind her to keep her propped up as she just... watches Yan Sun with a dumb grin.
Yan Sun shudders slightly after her breath as her closed mouth muffles a few additional coughs, grimacing and grumbling quietly to herself as she reaches for the jug of water, unscrewing the cap. She doesn't seem to notice Jessica watching her, far too busy with trying to lift the heavy water jug, her fork placed into the pan to free up both of her hands. Eventually, she manages. Of course, it's far too heavy for her to drink with any
precision. Sure, she does manage to get a much-needed mouthful of water, but she also ends up splashing ice cold water all over her face, her eyes shooting wide open and prompting a startled squeal as it quickly starts to run beneath her jacket. She practically tosses the jug to the floor, although it thankfully lands with the opening up. "Ohmygodno屌那星敗家了點解!" she exclaims loudly, squirming hopelessly, arms pressed against her chest.
Jessica has barely finished snickering over Yan Sun's encounter with the batarian ale when she finds shoulders bouncing to more laughter as Yan Sun ends up wearing as much water as she drinks. "How?!" she exclaims between breaths, a hand briefly jolting towards the jug in a kneejerk reaction as if to stop it from tipping before realizing it landed rightside up, allowing for her to focus entirely on Yan Sun's clumsiness. She seems to
have little interest in actually being helpful, taking much more pleasure in watching her squirm. "I do not understand how you are suuuch a fool." she continues to snicker. "How?!" she repeats.
Yan Sun 's lets out a strained "Hnnnnnh..." through gritted teeth as she continues to grimace, hunched over and rubbing her arms across her torso in some futile attempt to keep the water from going any further. "Coooold..." she complains with a wince, barely paying any attention to Jessica's amused mockery. She ends up pressing her legs up against her torso, chin resting on her knees as she lets out a defeated sigh that sends droplets of
water from her lips into the air, trying with limited success to relax her tense body. She rubs her face against the knees of her pants to dry it.
Jessica remains in place for a moment longer, amusement spread across her face. Rubbing her face against her knees doesn't help with the ridiculous image Jessica is treated to and it only causes another loud snort to erupt from her. But watching her struggle is only entertaining for so long. The room is relatively warm, all things considered, but it doesn't stop just the tiiiiniest hint of guilt to seep in over just how much she's
enjoying Yan Sun's clumsiness. With a sigh, she props herself up a bit straighter and reaches over to pull one of the duffelbags closer. She reaches into it and produces a folded up towel. One stolen from the Respite. Climbing onto her knees, she crawls around to the other side of the pan- beside Yan Sun- and wordlessly drapes the towel over her knees with a big, judgmental grin on her face.
Yan Sun silently accepts the offered towel, drying off her face and neck. "Thanks..." she mutters, a hint of grumpiness in her tone, although she can't help a small, somewhat embarrassed grin from crossing her lips when she briefly meets Jessica's gaze, well aware of how silly she must've looked.
Jessica remains just beside Yan Sun on her knees and continues to study her in silence as she wipes herself off. But it's not long before she's unable to resist kissing her stupid face and brings a hand to Yan Sun's chin, urging her head upwards as she leans over to press a surprisingly tender kiss against her lips, eyes briefly closing. "I am glad you are here with me." she says fondly as she sits back against her heels, eyes settling
Yan Sun seems a little surprised by the kiss, grin wiped from her face once their lips part and Jessica pulls back. A quiet, flustered snicker slips out as she looks down briefly, the mix of tenderness and teasing catching her in the gut. She goes quiet for a moment, sucking on her lower lip as she watches the blue ring of the holo-emitter. "Me too." she says softly, flashing a smile as her gaze darts back to Jessica.
Jessica continues to watch Yan Sun, slowly dragging the tip of her tongue back and forth idly across the bottom of her top teeth with that mischievous look in her eye. "I am going to heat the water." she says with a small head gesture towards the stove, eye remaining fixed on Yan Sun and doing very little to mask her intentions. "Not that you are ever needing an excuse to take off your clothes." she continues with a small raise of her
brow before adding an endearing, "Slut." She shuffles a bit closer to the stove and begins to get started on the process of filling the pot.
Yan Sun tries to look offended at first, but it's not very successful. The goofy, slightly flustered laugh that slips out as Jessica turns her attention to the stove sounds more flattered than anything. She shifts in place, crossing her legs again and just watching Jessica in the dim light of the hologram above, a big dumb grin on her face, the uncomfortable cold of the wet shirt sticking to her chest beneath her jacket and sweater
Jessica rolls her eye in response to the attempt at looking offended, certainly not buying it. She sets the filled pot onto the burner and turns it on, making sure to screw the cap back onto the jug of water lest Yan Sun's clumsiness find its way to the poor jug once more. She remains in front of the stove for a moment on her knees, ankles crossed as she stares down into the pot. Satisfied that it's on its way, she settles back into a
seated position once more, gaze turning back to Yan Sun. "Mmm?" she hums as she tugs the duffelbag of towels and rags between them, giving little context to her lazy mouth sounds.
Yan Sun wipes the grin from her face after Jessica looks her way, her gaze turning to the bag. "Uh... what are we-... I've never really had to wash without a shower." she admits, a bit of embarrassment creeping into her expression. She does slip her jacket off, however, putting it aside before looking back towards Jessica.
Jessica's big, condescending grin returns and she merely stares at Yan Sun in disbelief for a moment. This time she seems to think better than to point out just how spoiled Yan Sun is. But she thinks it. Of course, she doesn't seem to realize that it's probably not that uncommon for someone to have never washed without a shower. Not everyone lived in a city where whether or not the water was running determined on the current climate of
the local gangwars. With a shake of her head she sighs and climbs to her feet. "Put some towels down so we do not have to be on a dirty floor." she instructs as she passes one last glance towards the stove before moving over to the sleeping bags. She begins poking through the sleeping bag for the bag of toiletries that she stuffed inside, including some cheap bodywash and equally cheap shampoo.
Yan Sun is quick to nod and scoot over to the duffelbag, pulling out some of the stolen towels and spreading them across the floor along with the one she was given to wash her face. She moves the holo-emitter out of the way, making sure it's safe from any water.
Jessica sets the two bottles down beside the towels Yan Sun is laying out and then returns to the stove. She crouches down beside it and tests the water with a finger. Considering the water was in a jug in the back of the truck, it comes as no surprise that it's pretty much ice cold. "Is going to be a minute I am thinking." she sighs as she stands back up and looks Yan Sun's way, reaching way back to stretch as the that mischievous grin
Yan Sun sits on one of the towels, leaning back and letting her hands prop her up as she watches Jessica stretch, her hands briefly disrupting the holographic galaxy and causing part of the image to distort and flicker. The grin on Jessica's lips causes a subdued echo on her own, her head tilting a little as she continues to study her.
Jessica lets out a pleased sound as she finishes her long stretch that casts shadows about the dimly lit room. She approaches Yan Sun, joining her on the towel and standing above her, one foot on each side of the seated woman. "Is like the elevator. Mmm?" she says, a playful fondness creeping into her tone as she gives a lazy snicker. Reaching down with her left hand, she runs her fingers through Yan Sun's hair, forcing her head back
slightly to look up at her. "Just a dark room. And you. And me." After a moment, she recalls with a confident raise of her brow, "I know that I am going to get into your pants the first time that I see you. You know this, kitty cat?"
Yan Sun 's gaze follows Jessica as she approaches, her grin growing slowly. Her head being pulled back causes a flash of excitement in her eyes as she looks up at Jessica. The words that follow prompt an incredulous, but slightly flustered scoff. "No you didn't...!" she protests, nowhere near as confident as Jessica in her assertion.
Jessica gives a furrow of her brow, her left having a much wider range of motion than the right that's held back by the taut, burned flesh around it. "Mmm. Is true." she insists with that same sense of confidence, her fingertips continuing to comb through Yan Sun's hair. "I could see exactly who you were. Through all of the fancy-... expensive cybernetics." Her grin widens and she gives another lazy snicker, "And I was not wrong..."
Yan Sun briefly closes her eyes, enjoying the feeling on Jessica's fingertips running through her hair. "Oh yeah...? Who's that...?" she asks through her lingering grin once her eyes open, continuing to look up at Jessica from where she sits, leaned back.
Jessica gives a small chuckle as if Yan Sun knows exactly what she's implying. "A dirty slut." she says matter-of-factly. Obviously. Her right hand moves to the left side of Yan Sun's head, scarred fingertips tracing along stubble. She closes her hand, the tops of her scarred fingertips brushing against Yan Sun's ear as she lowers into a crouch above her, her hand coming to a rest when it reaches her neck. She presses her tongue against
her bottom lip as she studies her in the faint blue light of the holo-emitter. "And now you are my dirty slut." she says, the shameless dirty talk undercut by a bit of odd sincerity that creeps into the statement.
Yan Sun can't help the slight blush on her cheeks despite being well aware where Jessica was going. Or maybe it's just the ice water? Her gaze darts around Jessica's face when she crouches down, the spoken addition causing a muffled, excited snicker as she feels her cheeks heat up further, sucking her lower lip in between her teeth once more. Her grin remains, making no attempt whatsoever to protest Jessica's claim. Her excitement is mixed
