#Rellis'Contract – February 1, 2014
Jason continues across the open span at a steady space with a tight grip on his Revenant as he does. He keeps an eye on the garage door as he heads towards the north-west corner.
Zaylus watches Jason traverse the open ground, glancing apprehensively between him and the structure, and hesitating until the human's made significant ground before leaving the cover of the trees and proceeding after him.
Kim reaches the building and leans her back against it as she looks around once more. She stays fairly close to Renala, but mostly focuses her attention towards their back.
Victoria kept to the cover of the trees, she kept an eye on the structure waiting for Jason to make some distance before breaking out of cover.
There isn't much to note along the wall, and there's only a dirt path from the door leading to the asphalted road. The door seems to be locked.
As Jason nears the garage door, he might hear a series of thuds muffled by the wall and the occasional bouts of muffled rough laughter. Jason is not interrupted for the time being.
Renala leans back into cover as Kim arrives. "Looks clear," she says, barely above a mutter. "Door's locked, but I think I can get it open."
Jason activates his comms and speaks at a low whisper. "In position near the garage door. Looks to be unlocked. Sounds like we've got company just inside. How is it looking on your end, Kim?"
Kim nods towards Renala in understanding, then turns towards her omni-tool to activate her comms. "All going as perfectly as we can expect so far. I'm pretty sure we haven't been detected yet. Door's locked, but Renala's confident she can get it open. Just tell us when."
Renala leans out again, and waits for Kim to respond over the cooms. "Want me to take point again?" she asks as she leans back into cover, her tone giving no indication whether she wants to.
Jason glances back towards the others, looking a bit impatient as he waits for them to arrive beside him.
Victoria crosses the street as fast and silent as she could, to catch up to Jason. She hears the sounds of laughter, she uses the visor to see if there are any biotic signatures.
Kim nods towards the asari and puts the communication line on standby. "Looks like they're almost ready to go. We should prepare to breach in, ourselves."
Victoria's visor does not indicate any signs of biotic fields inside, at least none that are strong enough to be visible through the wall.
Renala nods and makes her way along the wall, her Locust still drawn. As she reaches the door, she takes cover by the side of it and holsters her submachine gun.
Nothing aside from the thuds can be heard through the wall by the garage door, and whether there are more than one inside is unclear.
Jason takes a position beside the panel and waves over Zaylus and Victoria, indicating for them to set up around the large door.
Victoria gets ready to move in and activates her comms. She then speaks at a low whisper "Visor ain't picking up any biotics, but the wall may be blocking the readings."
There is a panel to the left of the garage door, which has a green color, indacating that it is unlocked.
Jason looks over the other two for a moment and activates his comms, once again keeping his voice to a whisper. "We're ready to breach. We definitely have contact just inside, so things might get loud once we're in. We'll breach on your mark. Let us know once you're safely inside."
Kim stays close behind Renala as she moves and doesn't let down her guard. When Renala puts away her SMG, Kim moves behind the former and crouches down with her Carnifex close to her face as she continues looking around. She activates her comms and listens to Jason, then turns to the side to address Renala. "Go," she states softly before returning to the comms. "Breaching. Standby."
Renala nods, and enables her omni-tool. She quickly finds and starts the hacking procedure. "Let's hope I didn't fuck it up," she mutters to herself while the program attempts to connect to and unlock the door.
The door's interface turns from orange to red for a moment. But after flashing between these two colors for seven seconds, it goes green.
Renala looks at the door with unsubtle anxiety as the program works on it, but a relieved sigh escapes her once it's done, and her omni-tool dissipates. She nods to Kim. "Done," she whispers.
Jason remains in place near the garage door, waiting for word from the others. He occasionally glances around uneasily, hoping to avoid being caught off-guard.
Zaylus sways slightly in place, clearly still alert but surprisingly calm considering the situation. He offers Jason an occasional glance as the team stands in waiting.
Kim nods and stands up to press flat against the door again. "After you, hun. Once we know what's behind the door, I'll let them loose."
Victoria had her avenger drawn and ready to go. She was a little unsettle not knowing if they were walking straight into a krogan.
Renala hesitates for a moment, but taps on the interface to open the door. She still stands beside the doorframe, out of view from inside. Renala draws her Locust.
The door by Renala and Kim opens to reveal a hallway. The walls have a bland dark-brown color and the floor is slightly brighter; it might remind one of Omega. A few cracks and dents imply the building hasn't been too well maintained over the years, but the floor and wall seems to be clean.
The hallway stretches the entire length of the building, it seems, and there's an intersection (left and forward) to the left exactly half-way through. To their immediate left and right are two doors, neither locked. There's also one just before the turn on the left wall, and one opposite the on the right wall at the intersection. On the other half of the hallway are three doors on the left wall, all clearly marked as restrooms.
Kim glances inside quickly, then nods towards Renala and activates her comms. "We have access. Commence when you're ready."
Renala proceeds into the hallway, weapon aimed forward as she follows along the left wall. She looks really uneasy, however, as there's plenty of entrances to it.
Jason activates his comms, "Preparing to breach." he whispers. He gives a glance back towards Zaylus and Victoria and lowers his Revenant to his side. He holds up his free hand with three fingers outstretched. Slowly, he begins a countdown. Two. One. Without any hesitation, he presses the button on the panel and quickly shoulders his Revenant. He drops to a knee and takes a position at the edge of the door, ready to open up on any hostiles.
Aside from the corners and walking into a room, there is no real means of taking cover anywhere in the hallway Renala entered.
The garage door opens, and reveals a rather large garage/storage area. The opposite right corner is covered by another room. To their immediate right are two trucks - one on 4 wheels, another more akin to a sky-car. In the corner to their left, there are a bunch of assorted crates, 10 in total ranging from 2ft to 5ft in size. Further along the left wall is a larger crate next to a vehicle that lifts crate by use of M.E. fields.
There is a door on the right wall, and one just after the corner to the other room. There is a worn Kodiak shuttle in the center of the room, but it's painted. A blonde human woman and a batarian seemed to be working on the shuttle in the center of the room, but they both take cover behind it after four seconds. They're both in red light armor. Both of them have a Predator, but only the batarian draws his.
There are three rows of shelves near the opposite wall, all parallel with it. A krogan in heavy armor stands near the 'forklift', which is pretty damanged, holding what appears to be a large sledgehammer. "Huh?" he says, dropping the hammer on the concrete, which makes a rather loud sound. "The fuck you doin' here?"
Kim stays close behind Renala again, but returns to making virtually no noise as she moves down the hallway. As they move past the first set of doors, she keeps a closer watch behind them.
Jason remains off to the side of the door, only partially exposed. He winces a bit as the hammer hits the ground with a thud, bringing back a few bad memories. "Would you believe me if I said I was the health inspector?" he asks with a shrug and a sigh. He quickly reaches over and taps at his comms. "Krogan." is all he says before reshouldering his M-76 and firing off a handful of rounds towards the krogan.
Renala quickly takes cover against the left wall just at the corner of the intersection. She just stands there, not leaning out of cover.
Kim glances back and stops when she's a single step away from the asari. She lowers her voice to what she judges is the softest she can make her voice while still being heard. "They're fighting the krogan. That should get their attention for a while."
Zaylus steadies his weapon, muttering something too low to hear, and fires a few shots directed at the pair behind the shuttle, hoping to keep them there until the krogan is dealt with.
(Enemy) Krogan growls, drawing a grenade from his armor to throw as he stomps towards the door. "Scavangers gettin' more than they bargained for, huh?" he guesses. The krogan's shield takes the shots for now.
Batarian leans out from the open shuttle's pilot's compartment and fires with the pistol towards Zaylus. He takes some shots, but his shields are still up.
The grenades does land by the door, and it's likely it'll harm anyone near the door. The sound of gunfire is audible to the people in the hallway.
Jason gives a shout of "GRENADE!" before rotating on his heel back into cover against the wall, off to the side of the garage door and turns his head away from the grenade.
Renala stands by the wall, very worried by hearing the door open, but doesn't move or say anything at all.
Zaylus takes his focus from the batarian at this development, reeling back against the opposite side wall for cover from the impending blast.
Victoria pushed herself against to prepare herself for the blast. "Might need to fall back to the treeline to bring them out into the open."
Jason readies himself for the blast, shouting across to the others as he does, "That's not gonna happen, Vicky." he says bluntly, "We need to deal with this quickly."
The grenade goes off with a loud blast, sending fragments in all directions. Some might hit the people leaning against the the wall, but at about the effect of a Predator's shot. The grenade can be heard clearly by the people in the hallway, as well as Jason's shout.
(Enemy) Krogan stood too near the grenade, but his shields takes the hit. However, they are now depleted. "Fuck," he grumbles, but keeps stomping towards the door, and the first person he sees: Zaylus. He's about 7 seconds away from the turian at this pace.
Batarian gets back into cover before the grenade goes off. The Kodiak shuttle is barely out of reach of the blast radius, however.
Kim crouches down and keeps an eye behind them while moving slightly away from Renala to give her room to maneuver if needed. She stays deathly quiet for the moment.
Zaylus barely regains composure after the blast before he sights the incoming krogan. "Shit." He mutters, backpedalling with his pistol raised, firing off desperate shots as he resists any instinct to turn and flee.
Jason takes a few fragments, but his shield absorbs it for the most part. After shrugging it off, he leans back out and his eyes widen when he realizes how much distance the krogan has managed to cover. "Focus fire on the big motherfucker!" he shouts and shoulders the Revenant once again, squeezing the trigger as he sights in on the krogan. He sidesteps along with Zaylus as he fires, as to avoid creating a crossfire that might hit Victoria.
Footsteps from what might be two people can be heard from down the direction Renala stands next to. "Wouldn't your cameras be picking it up if they were intruders?" the voice of what might either be a human woman or an asari says as the round a corner and walks along the hallway leading to the intersection where Renala is.
Victoria regained herself from the blast, she then aimed at the krogan and fired three to five round bursts at it.
(Enemy) Krogan roars in pain as several shots impacts with his armor and goes through, but he continues to target the turian. He starts running now, however, rather than jogging.
Zaylus holds his stride, continuing to move backwards at an almost reasonable pace, but definitely appears to be tensing to duck out of the way should the krogan achieve swinging range. He fires deliberately, hoping a well placed bullet will do more than several panicked ones.
Jason cusses under his breath and quickly slams a new thermal clip into his weapon. "Vicky, manage those two!" he says, signifying the two remaining hostiles as he points back towards the garage. He reshoulders the M-76 and squeezes off a few more rounds at the charging krogan.
(Enemy) Human remains behind the shuttle in the garage. "What the hell have we done to you?" she shouts out, but doesn't really expect an answer due to the others being preoccupied with the krogan.
(Enemy) Krogan gets near enough the turian to swing at him, but instaed he falls on all four just beside Zaylus, caughing heavily as he tries to regain himself and switch to the organic spare parts.
Kim sighs in relief when it looks like no one's going to flank them. She moves back into place and puts away her Carnifex, then stands up. "I hear two footsteps. If you can disable one for a few seconds... it would give me enough time to surprise the other one." She slowly slips into a fighting pose. "They sound like they have medium armor... I most likely will only be able to disable one. The other is all yours."
Victoria slams a new thermal clip into her weapon. She then started to fire the same way she did at the krogan, but this time it was aimed at pilot compartment of the shuttle.
Renala nods and prepares biotic energy for three seconds. Without further hesitation, she leans out of cover and sends a stasis field towards the leftmost of the approaching hostiles.
Renala's stasis field hits an asari in armor reminiscent of Renala's -- but the hostile asari's skin is a dark blue with slightly brighter markings. She's locked in place while the turian woman draws her Predator and opens fire towards Renala.
Zaylus only puts a few feet of distance between himself and their downed adversary, glancing up at Jason with a muted expression. Nonchalantly replacing the thermal clip, he refocuses his aim on the krogan and fires several purposeful shots into what he can only guess is the most vulnerable areas of his head and neck.
Jason takes the opportunity presented by the krogan's collapse to close the distance between himself and the brute. Without hesitation, he shoulders his rifle once more and aims down at the back of the krogan's exposed head. He squeezes the trigger a few times, unwilling to stop firing until he's certain the krogan won't be getting back up.
(Enemy) Batarian takes a few shots from Victoria, depleting his shields, but he ducks back behind cover to let them recharge.
Krogan roars loudly before the two's precise shots damages a vital part in his head. He thus fall to the concrete ground, limp. Most probably dead.
Kim activates her stealth field and nearly immediately begins taking on an imperfect appearance of the scenery around them. As soon as she notices her pseudo-invisibility take effect, she wordlessly slips past Renala and begins jogging silently through the corridor towards her adversaries. She keeps out of Renala's sights as best as it's possible to as she moves unpredictably. The turian would be able to somewhat see her form, but her movements make it difficult to see where she's moving at any particular second.
Zaylus acknowledges the beast's apparent death, hesitating and watching him for a few moments before hurrying back to the garage door, taking cover behind one of the walls and peering past to gauge how the fight there has gone.
(Enemy) Turian does fire a few shots towards the cloaked figure, taking a step back, but she can't keep up with the Kim's movements. Kim would easily reach her in three seconds at her pace. "Kolus, come in," her flanged voice speaks into the comms.
Asari stands completely still as a statue, holding a Locust aimed towards Renala. It's hard to tell how much longer the biotic field will hold her, however.
Victoria still had some rounds left and so she let out the full clip aimed at batarian still. Once the gun run dry she would duck back into cover and reload her weapon.
Jason wastes no time in returning to assist Victoria once he's sure that the krogan won't be getting back up. He retakes his previous position and lays a few rounds down towards the shuttle. Hoping that it'll keep the hostile's heads down, he attempts to duck inside, taking a sharp left and sidestepping towards the large crates in the corner of the room.
Zaylus returns his aim to the centrally placed shuttle, but refrains from shooting until some kind of opening from the pair taking cover behind it.
Kim stays completely silent as she takes the opportunity to stop right next to the turian as the latter divides her attention. She shifts her momentum to push the turian's chest as hard as she can, then wastes no time (regardless of what happens) to take a step back to give herself enough room to slip one leg behind the turian's nearest leg to try sliding the leg forward at the same time.
(Enemy) Batarian remains in cover, his shield still recharging; though a bullet not and then does interrupt the recharge.
Human peeks out, but gets back behind cover quickly. "Kalus, you there?" can be heard from here, possibly speaking to the comms. "We're under attack in the garage! Urret is down." Her voice can't be heard in the hallway, however, due to the commotion there.
Jason manages to get to the crates uninterrupted due to the suppressive fire from him and the others. Said crates are between 4ft-5ft (120cm-150cm) in height, and makes for excellent cover.
(Enemy) Turian is caught off-guard by and stumbles forward, landing on all four while the Predator slides forward for about a yard on the floor. "Why are you here?" she growls.
Jason rounds the crates, taking a position behind them on the northern side of the garage to set up as much of a flanking position as he can manage. "Throw your weapons down and come out with your hands up!" he demands, "Your buddy didn't have to die, and neither do you!"
Kim hears her stealth generator begin to emit a small groaning noise and immediately turns it off, then quickly moves to the dropped gun and kicks it towards the intersection where Renala is standing at. "Don't move and I won't shoot," she states in a soft but commanding voice as she draws and levels her Carnifex towards the turian's head. She raises her voice slightly, but attempts to control it to avoid getting more attention. "Turian disabled. Asari's all yours."
Renala gets out of cover, jogging towards the asari with her Locust aimed towards her. "Same goes for you, sweetie," she says. "Stand still and drop your gun."
Victoria remains in her current cover, wondering if she should make a run towards the trucks for cover. She keeps an eye on the shuttle for any movement, while she was thinking about it.
Zaylus doesn't move from his current position, but rather keeps his weapon trained on the shuttle, giving the pair a chance to heed Jason's words.
Victoria might notice a really powerful shot aimed for her torso from the direction of the spaceport -- possibly enough to take her shields --, and the sound of the shot follows 1.5-ish seconds later.
(Enemy) Human stands up, dropping her weapon. She walks out in plain view, towards a point between the shuttle and the crates. She has her hands held up.
Batarian is still in the shuttle, not coming out. "Come get me," he taunts. He can't be seen through the shuttle's viewports.
Asari is released from the biotic field's hold as Renala approached. "Fuck no," she says as she quickly sends a quite strong biotic throw in the approaching asari's direction while backpedaling towards the corner (in the direction away from Renala)
Jason looks towards Zaylus & Victoria and waves them in. "Lay on the ground, face down, with your hands behind your back, and I give you my word no harm will come to you." he assures the woman. He remains sighted in on the shuttle as he sidesteps out of cover in the direction of the forklift. "Do you really want to throw your life away? Come on out." he shouts, hoping to get the batarian talking.
"FUCK!!! Sniper!!!" She yelled and rushed inside took cover behind the second truck, waiting for her shields to recover.
Renala is thrown back towards the door at the intersection, hitting it with her back first. Her crests dampens the hit it could have had on her head. She ends up sitting with her back to the door, groaning as it did hurt. Her locust lay on the floor beside her.
Jason glances in Victoria's direction and mutters to himself. "Get inside and shut that door!" he orders, moving with increased haste as he hurries his flanking efforts. "Last chance, asshole. Get the fuck out of the shuttle. Now!"
(Enemy) Batarian gets out of the shuttle, without any weapons visible on his person. "Okay, okay," he grumbles as he approaches them with his hand held infront of him.
Kim grits her teeth and immediately takes a step back to crouch and begin firing her clip at the asari. She does her best to make sure her shots are well-aimed, but part of her attention remains on the turian to make sure she doesn't try anything. "Are you alright?" she yells back, now essentially abandoning any chance of stealth now.
Zaylus reacts to both exclaimations, rushing in and to the right side, locationing the door control and quickly slamming it shut.
Jason moves towards the batarian with his sights resting dead center of the hostile's four eyes. "On the ground." he orders once again. He gives a quick glance towards Zaylus and Victoria, confirming that the door has been closed. "Everyone okay?" he asks, his gaze resting back upon the batarian, "Is anyone hit?"
Renala groans again before getting to her feet. "I'm fine," she mutters. "My back hurts, though." Not looking for her weapon, she walks over to the cover of the corner. "Just give me a moment, okay?"
Zaylus nods his head toward Victoria. "She figured there was a sniper. I didn't see a damn thing." He mutters, walking across the garage toward the room occupying the far right corner, looking all over as he does.
Victoria looked at the turian "Well unless they have bullets that can go through these walls, and can take down shields in one hit. Or most likely a sniper." She said in a rather snarky tone, she checks her avenger over.
Three comes running from the newly opened door in the hallway parallel to where Renala is, rounding the corner towards where Kim is. They're a turian male, a salarian and another human woman. They're all only armed with Predator pistols.
Jason glances in the direction of the noise Renala produced, but quickly turns his attention back to the batarian. "You hear that?" he asks, "Forget about the sniper for now. Secure that room." he says as he approaches the two surrendered hostiles and removes a set of ziptie-like devices from his hardsuit compartment. He begins with the batarian, tying his hands behind his back.
(Enemy) Batarian doesn't put up a fight, barely moving at all. "What are you here for, human?" he asks in a angry mutter.
Kim scowls in frustration and takes a single step back, but otherwise only crouches down slightly while keeping her gun trained on the turian on the ground. She starts thinking quickly, but doesn't get any ideas right away. Her only thought is how long it would take to get a new thermal clip into the Carnifex, as she's operating entirely on an idle threat at the moment.
Zaylus steps toward the passage, waving Victoria over to him. "C'mere, smartass." He says, insulting yet somehow endearing. The turian stands near the door, checking his gun before leaning in to listen for more sounds from further inside the compound.
Jason presses a knee into the batarian's back as he tightens the restraints. "We're here about a friend of yours. Beyond that, it's none of your concern. Now how about you tell me what's going on here? Where'd that sniper round come from?"
Victoria put her avenger on her back and drew her locust, following the turian. She takes the other side of the door. "Ready moron?"
(Enemy) MaleTurian takes a step closer. "Are you deaf, human?" he says. "Drop your weapon and step back!" They might not know of Renala. The two just outside the door (Victoria and Zaylus) may overhear him.
Victoria smirks at Zaylus "Aw... thanks moron." she then opens the door and moves in with her locust aimed up. She tries to go for the silent way first.
Kim takes a deep breath, then slowly straightens up and lowers her gun to face the ground at her feet. She doesn't drop her gun right away, especially when the door behind her opens. Instead, she tenses up and mentally prepares herself to make a quick getaway in case this isn't a flanking maneuver.
It opens without issue. The opening door is in an intersection (forward, left, right, as seen from the door) Renala is the first person they might notice as she stands at the left convex corner where as Kim is down the hall right infront of them, just before the middle of it
There is a group of four armored people almost at the end of the hallway infront of them, led by a turian; others being an asari, a salarian and another human woman.
Zaylus moves into position next to and a foot or so behind Victoria, gun raised and pointed down-hall.
Victoria first sees Renala and takes cover on the other side of the intersection. "Zay stay on the other side of the door." She ordered to the turian silently.
Renala uses a biotic field to pull her gun towards her across the floor. The gun's original position was just to the left of the door (left as seen from Renala's position)
Jason moves on to the human, repeating the process. "What about you?" he asks, "Who else is out there? How many?"
Zaylus spins back and leans against the outside wall next to the door, muttering quietly and keeping his gun ready.
(Enemy) MaleTurian fires one shot at Kim as a more direct warning. "Drop the gun," he says, "that goes for all of you."
Asari lets go of a rather large biotic bolt that makes its way past Kim down the hall. A biotic might recognize the kind before it blossoms into a singularity in the middle of the intersection where Renala and Victoria are.
Jason nods to himself and glances in the direction of the gunfire. "What's going on out there?" he calls out to Zaylus and Victoria. Without giving them a chance to respond, he activates his comms , "Kim. Renala. Three hostiles dealt with. If they're to be trusted, that leaves six more on site. How are things on your end?"
Kim takes a deep breath once the bullet hits her shields and decides to make a break for it. Her target is the door on the wall opposite the one the turian is huddling under. If she makes it there, she desperately slams the door open and rushes inside.
Renala keeps behind cover, seemingly not noticing the biotic field on its way there. She gets ahold of her weapon and picks it up.
Victoria did not see the biotic field on its way, she looked down the hallway to see if there was a door to possibly move into to get behind the new threats.
Zaylus looks down the hall, cursing at the sight of the incoming field. He turns back around, trying to get Jason's attention. "Hey, better come see this for yourself!"
Victoria's visor can notice the field as she looks down the hall, and that it's fast enough to be at their position in two seconds.
Kim manages to get inside what looks like a kitchen and dining room. The corner on her 11 'o clock is covered by a kitchen with three fridges and two stoves along with much other appliances. There are three tables with benches standing perpendicular from the wall on her left. There are no other doors from that room.
Jason pats the human on the shoulder as he climbs to his feet, "Stay right here... We'll be out of here in no time." he assures her before picking his Revenant back up and jogging towards Zaylus and Victoria, "What's-..." he begins before hearing Victoria's shout and pressing against the wall beside Zaylus, "Biotic?" he asks without bothering to wait for an answer, "Fucking hate biotics..."
The singualirty blossoms in the middle of the intersection, and the radius is large enough to affect someone standing in the doorway, even, but not if there's a wall between the field's center and target.
Renala stumbles as she almost manages to outrun the radius, but she falls over and is slowly pulled towards the field as she tries to find any sort of handhold.
Victoria manages to outrun the radius, she looks back and she gets on the comms "Zay, don't enter. Stay where you are." She moves to the middle door of the west hallway, to see if it is unlocked.
Zaylus nods toward the women's voice over the comms. "Vic's already down one of the side halls. Multiple targets straight ahead, possibly who we're after. Didn't see much else." He states simply.
The group of mercenaries keep their distance while the singulairty is there, 5 guns aimed at the door into the garage. The asari is in the front as she knows the radius of her own singualirty.
Kim would find no good place to take cover within the room, and the metal tables seem to be bolted to the wall. The tables have a beem beneath them and would offer partial cover.
Jason sighs as he hears Victoria over the comms. "Shit... Alright, let's find another way in." he says and turns towards the door to the East and raises his Revenant, wasting no time stacking up on the door. He hovers his hand over the panel as he waits for Zaylus to join him.
Renala only gains speed as she gets closer and ends up orbiting helplessly around the singularity's core. She loses grip on her weapon, which joins in on the ride.
Victoria groaned as she found a room she did not need. She looked down the hallway towards the biotic field to see if she could see if the door near it had any markings. While looking down the hallway she saw Renala getting pulled by the field she gets on the comms "Renala is getting pulled towards the field!"
Kim scowls and runs over to the tables and easily slips under one of them. She puts her stealth on quick activate and activates her comms. "Umm... Jason, I'm pinned in one of the rooms. No cover. What's your status?"
(Enemy) Asari steps forward, aiming her weapon at the asari floating about. "Surrender," she commands. "Or I shoot her!"
Kim curses silently to herself and activates her stealth the moment she sees the door open again, also turning off the comms to completely prevent any chance of it revealing her. She stays completely silent as much as possible and watches the two to see what they'll do.
The door Jason opens lead into what appears to be a security office. There's a desk with a terminal on the wall to their left, with four screens on the wall. All screens are disabled. There is a Phalanx pistol laying beside the terminal. There is a door on the left and right wall, each just by the corner to the opposite wall.
(Enemy) MaleTurian closes the door. "Got to be in here somewhere," he says. "At least she can't open the door without us knowing." He continues looking around for her.
Jason steps into the room and off to the left of the doorway, as to not block Zaylus. He sweeps back and forth with his weapon and makes a quick note of the terminal. He opens up comms as he hurries towards the southern door, stacking up as before. "Hold tight, we'll be there as soon as we can." he says and gives Zaylus a quick nod.
(Enemy) Asari fires a short burst of her Locust at Renala as she takes a step closer. "I wasn't kidding," she says. "Come out with your hands in the air, and weapons dropped."
The door by the end of the hall is closed and is marked as krogan restromm facilities. The door nearest the corner is the men's room. The doors along the east hall aren't marked.
Renala takes a few shots, but her armor's shields still hold up. "Goddess," she begins. "Get me down from here!"
Victoria got on the comms "Any of you two near the door? Renala could use a god damn hand to get her down." She said as she slowly walked forward trying to keep out of the area of effect.
