#Mallory'sHomestead – August 29, 2019

Yan Sun snickers quietly, shooting Jessica a skeptical look and wiggling her fingers. "I thought you liked my arm?" she asks, a big grin spreading across her lips as she lazily traces just below Jessica's collarbone with one glowing finger, studying her skin as she does.

Jessica's smirk widens as her gaze turns back to Yan Sun. She shifts against the arm beneath her head, the thumb of her left hand absently stroking back and forth along the bare skin just above Yan Sun's pantyline. "Maybe I like credits more." she warns through her smirk. "Mmm? You don't think of this?"

Yan Sun furrows her eyebrows as if considering Jessica's suggestion. "Mmm... think I'll take my chances." she concludes, leaning in to press a soft kiss against Jessica's lips. It's obvious that she's in a good mood. A cuddly mood too - she lingers close, right hand caressing Jessica's side and displacing her top a little in the process as she pokes her foot playfully with her own. But after a moment of studying her up close her smile

falters and she rolls onto her back, looking up at the bedroom ceiling. "This bed really beats sharing that cramped thing in the Respite, huh?" she asks, spreading her right arm out across the empty space to her right and moving her legs a little to prove her point.

Jessica seems to be in quite a good mood as well. Maybe not quite so openly cuddly. But she doesn't seem to mind the affection. She lazily returns the kiss with just a slight puckering of her lips and, when Yan Sun rolls onto her back, her hand ends up on Yan Sun's stomach. The question prompts a small roll of her eye, lost to the dark room. "Oh, I forget! You are used to much more big beds. Mmm, kitty cat?" she hums. "With your pillows

made of-.... gold..." she settles on when she's unable to come up with anything else that a rich person's pillows might be made from. "...and your expensive blankets?" she adds through her smirk, hand slipping beneath the bottom of Yan Sun's shirt as she begins to trace circles around her belly button with her thumb. "It must be sooo difficult for you to be sleeping in these shitty beds with me." she continues to tease.

Yan Sun frowns when Jessica's unmatched ability to push people's buttons makes itself known at exactly the wrong time. Her thoughts had already been drifting towards the past, and Jessica's teasing cuts right into her. "That wasn't what I said..." she mutters quietly, rolling over again, back towards Jessica. She seems to have lost her taste for conversation.

Jessica furrows her brow, the sudden shift in demeanor seeming to catch her off guard. She remains in place for a moment, gaze fixed on the back of Yan Sun's head. But eventually- rather than giving Yan Sun her space- she shifts up against Yan Sun from behind, left arm draping over her waist as she lets out a sigh. "Don't get all bitchy on me, kitty cat." she says with a hint of amusement in her voice, seemingly unable to resist poking

at open wounds.

Yan Sun lets out a quiet grumble when Jessica's arm drapes over her, frowning at the dark. "Is that how you see me?" she asks without turning after a moment's silence passes. "Just... spoiled and complaining all the time?" She doesn't sound mad. More just... insecure. Worried that that's how she comes across without even realizing it. Worried that that's what she is. Just a spoiled brat.

Jessica gives a loud snort at the first question. But the amused smirk on her face slips away when it becomes clear that this is really bothering Yan Sun. As silence takes hold, she presses her forehead against the back of Yan Sun's head. "Why you are always so worried about what I think? Mmm?" she asks softly rather than answering the question directly.

Yan Sun 's gaze falls to the bedsheets right in front of her, faintly visible from her glow. She shifts slightly, left hand going to rest on top of Jessica's, fingers intertwining. "Because I care about your opinion?" she says quietly, her voice catching in her throat a little. "I don't want you to think that I'm-..." she trails off with an uncomfortable sigh. "I'd pick sharing that stupid tent with you over being alone in my room any day."

she says with an awkward little shrug.

Jessica remains silent as Yan Sun speaks, the honest, sentimental admission causing her to swallow hard. For a while it seems as if she may not even respond. Seconds drag into minutes. After a bit of consideration, she drapes her left leg over Yan Sun and lazily scales over her, hands untangling in the process. She ends up in front of Yan Sun, forcing her to face her. A good portion of the blanket comes with her, leaving it a bit

disheveled and Yan Sun's backside no longer covered by the warmth of the comforter. The darkness of the room makes it hard to make out many details, the white of her eye only faintly visible. The patch of burned flesh that cuts back from her temple is much more obvious now that her hair has grown out a little, carving an uneven line along the side of her head where hair won't grow. "All rich people are whining so much about how

much money that they have?" she begins softly. Okay, maybe not the strongest start, but the smile that tugs at her features implies she found it amusing at least. With an annoying snicker she grasps at Yan Sun's left arm, pulling it around herself and shifting a bit closer. Her right hand comes to rest on Yan Sun's hip and, for a moment, she merely studies Yan Sun through the darkness, brown eye scanning across what little she

can see of Yan Sun's face, smirk slowly slipping away. "You are-... special, kitty cat." she says softly. Honestly, despite the words getting caught in her throat. A hint of discomfort slipping into her tone despite her attempt at sounding confident. "Someone that I am going to go across the galaxy for. Just to-... for to-... keep being with you." She swallows again, gaze briefly flicking away from Yan Sun's eyes as she speaks.

"This is how I see you. Is good enough, yes?"

Yan Sun feels more and more awkward as the silence draws out. Embarrassed. She's resigned herself to getting no response by the time Jessica moves over her, blinking as she watches her - easily visible in the dark by the brief lapse in the glow of her left eye. Jessica's words bring out a quiet snort, not exactly helping matters, and she avoids her gaze... until she shifts closer. The words that follow causes her expression to soften. The

unexpected honesty brings a blush to her cheeks, a quiet, flustered breath sounding as her gaze darts away again,. She swallows hard as Jessica reminds her of the fact that she's leaving the only home she's ever known to come with her. She nods faintly against the pillow and shifts closer, the arm that's around Jessica tightening its grip into a hug as she presses a kiss heavy with emotion against her lips, forehead remaining pressed

against Jessica's afterwards.

Jessica presses into the kiss as it finds her lips, eyes closing briefly. When Yan Sun pulls back she peels her eyes open, tip of her tongue pressing against the inside of her cheek as her right hand slips around to Yan Sun's lower back and finds its way beneath her shirt. She falls silent as her fingers begin to trace shapes against bare skin, content with just enjoying the closeness for the moment.

Yan Sun remains silent for a while, just enjoying the feeling of Jessica close to her as she lets the weight of her words settle in. Her hand remains on her back, thumb brushing softly back and forth across her spine through the fabric of her top. Eventually her head shifts back a bit and her hand withdraws, digging out Jessica's left and bringing it up to her lips for a kiss, her cybernetics illuminating their faces in the process. "It's

gonna be so weird to go back to Hong Kong..." she says in an almost nervous whisper, gaze falling as a bit of embarrassment resurfaces.

Jessica studies Yan Sun's face as she speaks. Her ongoing concern over returning home certainly hasn't gone unnoticed. But it doesn't seem to deter Jessica. A hint of her previous smirk returns as she lazily traces the edge of Yan Sun's lips with her left thumb. "Is your home. What is weird about this? Mmm?" she asks quietly.

Yan Sun offers an aimless little shrug, letting out an uncomfortable sigh. "I... I thought I was leaving for good, you know? Thought I'd never see it again. I haven't even spoken to most of my friends since I left." she says as her gaze returns to Jessica's face.

Jessica holds Yan Sun's gaze as best as she can with her cheek pressed against the pillow. "But you miss it, yes?" she asks, her tone implying she's already assumed an answer.

Yan Sun lets out a helpless little chuckle. "Sure." she admits with another sigh gaze falling down to Jessica's hand for a moment. "Of course I do. I'm-... I'm just... nervous, I guess." As her gaze returns to Jessica's face she reminds herself that this is an even bigger deal for the woman in front of her. Not just an awkward homecoming. A huge step. A leap of faith. Faith in... Yan Sun. Okay, that doesn't exactly help her nerves. Is she

Yan Sun just being selfish, dragging Jessica to her home? Does she even want to go? What's the point of it? It's not like she can even show Jessica her home. Both places that held that role in her life are off-limits. One by her father's decree, and one by her own choice. Although she doubts she'd be welcome back to the Little Dragons' den even if she wanted to go there. A faint frown has settled into her face as her mind wanders. It's

Yan Sun distant, not aimed at Jessica, and there's a rarely seen sadness in her eyes.

Jessica gives a snort, seemingly not particularly following. She did just recently take Yan Sun back to Adrasteia despite the fact that half of the city was looking to turn her in for a fat payday. Somehow, a rich father and forgotten friends sound a whole lot less worrisome. But it's not hard to see that this genuinely bothers Yan Sun. Every time Hong Kong is brought up Yan Sun gets that same look on her face. "Is fine. You will show

Jessica me all the best places for dancing. We will fuck on our third planet." she explains, clearly keeping score and quite proud of that fact. "...And then? If there is nothing more for us there?" she shrugs her shoulders dismissively as if it's no big deal, "...We will leave, yes? I have many credits now. We can go wherever we want, kitty cat." she adds, probably grossly underestimating just how expensive it is to travel the

Jessica galaxy.

Yan Sun lets out a quiet snicker as Jessica repeats the sentiment she shared the last time she expressed her worries about Hong Kong. She nods in agreement, trying to force down her misgivings. The money situation she doesn't even comment on, not really comfortable shattering Jessica's perception. She can figure something out once they're in Hong Kong. It's her playground, she knows how things work there. "You're right. I'm... just being

Yan Sun stupid." she says, trying to smile, but it falters before it can really manifest. "Sorry."

Jessica gives another little shrug. "Mmm. Is fine, kitty cat. I am used to you being stupid." she offers, her smirk widening. She doesn't acknowledge the pit in her stomach that only seems to grow the closer they get to leaving Aite. Doing so would be accepting defeat. Acknowledging that this place means more to her than she cares to admit. Instead, she sticks with the tried and true method. Ignore those feelings bubbling up. Pretend

Jessica they don't exist. "At least we will be away from this shithole." she adds in a mutter, perhaps just to spite her own traitorous thoughts.

Yan Sun snorts softly, her expression more sympathy than amusement. She's been around Jessica too much to take her insults at face value, no matter the target. "Yeah..." she sighs quietly, studying Jessica's face. "Get ready for another cramped room though." she warns with a little smirk, trying to distract from the heavy subject of leaving Aite. "I've been looking at hotels, and... we're kind of on a budget here, so..."

Jessica furrows her brow and gives a small scoff. "You are not listening to me?" she asks, "I have many credits. I am paid verrrry well." she continues, quite clearly attempting to brag. Her left hand slips down to Yan Sun's midsection and she slips it between Yan Sun and the bedsheet, smirk resurfacing as her hands meet at the small of Yan Sun's back. "But-... is fine." she decides with another shrug, pulling Yan Sun's body

Jessica against her own as if to prove her point. "I do not mind cramped."

Yan Sun snickers softly, her hand shifting to Jessica's neck as she goes for a longer kiss, leaning into it a bit. "Me neither..." she agrees as she pulls back, a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth before she rolls over to face the other way, pressing back against her and wrapping Jessica's arms around herself, squeezing her hands as she gets comfortable under the soft warmth of the covers.

Jessica eagerly returns the kiss, arms reorienting as Yan Sun turns around to grip her tightly around the waist. She shifts her body to match the shape of Yan Sun's, lips pressing against the nape of her neck to deliver a few soft kisses. There's a mix of emotions as she considers just how close she is to achieving the dream she and Martin shared for so long. Finally leaving this rock behind. It doesn't sound quite as magical as it once

Jessica did. She inhales a deep breath in through her nose as she attempts to keep those thoughts at bay, an act that's only grown increasingly difficult as the trip has went on. "You finally do not smell like shit..." she muses softly as she's met with the smell of Yan Sun's shampoo.

Yan Sun smirks slightly, letting out a quiet scoff as she shifts her head to expose her neck to Jessica's nuzzling. "Squeaky clean..." she muses quietly, a yawn following as she rests her right arm over Jessica's, thumb brushing back and forth across her burned knuckles.
