Victoria | Vicky's ship is currently being prepared for its departure. Vicky stood at the loading ramp of the ship with a large travel bag over her shoulder. She has a datapad in her hand dealing with some last minute business before leaving.

Va'ynna is standing in front of her, also on the ramp. "I... I know it's... only going to be a week, seven days, but..." she says. "I'll miss you so much." It's been a whole day since she last brought this up now, a new record. Tears starts welling up under her eyes. She is wearing simple black pants and a long red shirt under her navy blue coat.

Uvena is standing near the hangar entrance from the rest of the spaceport. She is in full armor with a holstered Locust. The matron is far out of earshot of the other two. A folded up kinetic barrier west is lying on the floor beside her, which Va'ynna wore that on the trip here.

Victoria pockets the datapad and looks at Va'ynna with a smile. She is wearing her typical black shirt, long blue pants and red coat. "I know, but this is something I gotta do." With her free hand up to Va'ynna's strokes the asari's cheek. "You will be fine, I am sure of it."

Va'ynna frowns. "But... but... everyone's leaving," she sobs. "Jason went on the... Rakhana job, with T'Iavay." She looks down. "And now... you."

"And we will all be back. Might be some bruises on some of us but we will be back here with no problems at all." She just smiles at the asari "How about once I get back, me and you have a nice dinner at home. What do you think about that?"

Va'ynna pulls back a little bit and tilts her head. "Bruises?" she asks, the sobs still present in her voices. "I... I thought you were... just going to pick up cargo?"

Victoria gives a shrug "Well, I meant those who went on Redrock's job. But you will never know if I make an asshole of myself and get smacked for it." She said in a joking tone at the last part. "But trust me, everything will be fine."

Va'ynna is not amused evident by her frown, and sha places her hands on both of Victoria's upper arms near the shoulders. "You're... going to be careful," she says. "Or else... or else... I'm going to be very mad at you."

Victoria gives a goofy smile at Va'ynna "Of course I will be careful. I would not like to see you angry, sweetie." She moves her hand away from Va'ynna's cheek and then wraps it around her waist to give her a hug. "I will be very careful, just for you."

Va'ynna winds her arms around Victoria in turn, holding her tightly. "Good," she murmurs sadly. "And... call me as often as you can. Just so... I know that you're... fine." Tears are still trickling down her cheeks.

Victoria gives the asari a kiss on the forehead. "I will be sure to call you whenever I can and when it won't interfere with your day." She remains silent for a few seconds letting herself take this moment in. "And what do you think about me and you having dinner alone at home when I get back?"

Va'ynna nods. "Don't worry about that, call me... whenever," she says. "And..., of course. Was there... ever doubts that I would... have dinner with you at home?"

Victoria gives a shrug "Never hurts to ask such things." She does not say anything for a moment again. "I.. I will miss you too. I shall try and get back here as fast as I can."

Va'ynna keeps holding onto the hug, not intending to let go just yet. "I wish... I wish I could have come with you," she sobs. "Part of me... wants to just... drop everything I have and walk up the ramp with you."

Victoria keeps her hold on the asari, seeing as this will be the last time they can hold each for a week. "I know, I wish you could as well. But this just means we can make up for our loss time together when I get back." Offering a smile, even if the asari could not see it.

Va'ynna sighs. "I... I don't... I don't know what to do... without you, Victoria," she says. "Without... your arms to hold me when... I sleep." She draws a deep shaking breath. "This is pathetic, I-I... know."

Victoria gives the asari another kiss on the forehead. "It is alright. I will try to call you when you are about to go to sleep." She stops for a moment. "So I can sing you to sleep every night." She states in a joking tone.

Va'ynna turns her head to look forward, resting it on Victoria's shoulder. "Not... funny," she mutters. "You have... no idea how... much of a difference it made after I... moved in with you."

Victoria just smiles at the asari "I thought it was pretty funny." She mutters back in a joking tone, while trying to lighten the mood. "Well of course I have no idea. You have yet to tell me about the difference it has made." The arm around the asari's waists tightens for a moment and then loosens. "You have no idea of the difference you have made to me. I think we shall need to have a talk about this topic."

Va'ynna frowns. "What's there to talk about?" she says sadly. "I was... alone and scared. It only got... worse as time went on, until... that night at the Miner's Respite, but... without you I... I don't know...."

MCB1 places her travel bag down on the ground and wraps both of her arms around Va'ynna. "I love you Vay. When I get back, I will tell you how much you have changed me." She offers a smile. "Gives you two things to look forward to."

Va'ynna keeps resting her head on Victoria's shoulder. "I... I.... It's going to be a difficult week," she mutters. "I'm... I'm sorry if I'm ruining your first trip by acting... like this." The asari is still crying.

Victoria moves a hand to Va'ynna's chin to lift her head up, she then moves that hand to wipe away the tears of the asari. "You are not ruining it. Trust me." She then kisses the asari on the lips, letting it linger for a moment before pulling away. "You will be able to do it. Trust me, remember I will call you whenever I can."

Va'ynna pulls back from the hug so that Victoria can wipe her tears. "I know, but...," she sighs and shakes her head. "Other than... mom, I don't think I know anyone at the office right now."

"Well you can always introduce yourself. Does not hurt to meet and know new people." She tries to comfort the asari, so the situation is easier for her. "I mean, always good to have mercenaries as friends."

Va'ynna frowns. "Mercenaries can... also be terrifying," she mutters. "Ilyna didn't... go with the others, but... she hasn't been at work since... the..." She looks down. "They day I... started staying there."

Victoria remains silent for a moment. "It will be alright, Vay. Jasper and Mendez are alright." She said trying to suggest two members of Redrock who are approachable, and who might be at the office still.

Va'ynna nods. "I think... they both were with the... the rescue team," she says. "I don't know, though. At least... Mendez seems frightening."

"Cannot judge a book by it's cover, sweetie. Can't imagine what you thought of me at first." She looked past the asari and saw Austin give a tap of his wrist and moved into the ship. "Looks like I need to get going."

Va'ynna can't help but let out a small smile, albeit a short-lived one. "I... heard you were like that to everyone... blue or purple," she says. Va'ynna lets go of Victoria. "Good bye," she murmurs.

Victoria gives a shrug and a smile "True or false, I only have one asari I truly love." She gives the asari one last squeeze before letting go of the asari. "I will be back before you know it." She then gives the asari one last kiss for the week.

Va'ynna returns the kiss and nods. "I love you too," she says, her tears returning. "I'll... miss you, Victoria," she repeats for the nth time.

Uvena picks up the armored vest and starts making her way towards the bottom of the ramp. "Good luck out there," she shouts, waving at Victoria.

Victoria picks up her bag and gives the asari one last hug. "And I'll miss you, Va'ynna." She then turns to Uvena "Thanks, Uvena." She yells back to Uvena.

Va'ynna returns the hug without a word, but she does not let go.

Victoria does not make an attempt at breaking the hug. She allows it to go as long as the asari needs to.

Va'ynna lets a whole minute pass before the hold is loosened, but she is not fully letting go. She does not say anything, and she's still soaking Victoria's shoulder.

Uvena chuckles and sighs, but she waits patiently at the bottom of the cargo ramp.

Victoria still does not break the hug with force. "I gotta go Vay. As much as I want to stand here like this all day, I gotta go."

Va'ynna sighs and lets go off her, but she does not walk off the ramp. "I... I know," she murmurs. "Goodbye."

Victoria grabs the asari's hand and gives her another kiss. After a few seconds she breaks the kiss. "I will see you in a week."

Va'ynna returns the kiss. "See you," she murmurs, still not moving off the ramp.

Victoria lets go of Va'ynna's hand and starts moving into the ship.

Va'ynna remains exactly where she is, her gaze following the departing Victoria.

Victoria turns her gaze towards Va'ynna and gives her a smile, as she continues to make her way into the ship.

Va'ynna returns a sad smile, but she watches Victoria. Once the human woman is out of view, she lowers her gaze.

Uvena runs up the ramp to lead Va'ynna down.
