Sofia gains an immediate apologetic look at pulling up an uncomfortable story, turning her gaze to the table. "Oh, I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to...". She shifts a little, turning her eyes to look back at Nathan for a moment. She remains silent, chewing on her lower lip as she seems to juggle with a thought.

Vasquez raises an eyebrow. "If you want to get more involved in the company, I'm sure we can look at that... I like to make sure I overview everything personally but I could sure as hell use some help with the day-to-day stuff."

Ehanis folds her arms. "Yeah, yeah," she says dismissively. "I wasn't saying I'm 'Miss Perfect', just that you didn't listen to us. You wouldn't have met that snake if you had stopped when the radio got spotty…."

Cynthia takes a long swig of her stolen beer and then nudges Jason with her elbow. "Come on, Jace, don't take it personally. Just been a long time since I've seen her like this." She looks briefly towards her friend before raising her beer bottle and studying it through the light for a moment. "I, uh... Leah raises a hand and waves the woman's concerns off. "It's fine." she insists, giving a reassuring smile, "Really. But yeah, I think Aite has been good for dad. The change of scenary and all." she continues, purposely neglecting to comment on how it has been with her. Despite her love for the planet, after everything that has happened it's hard to not feel at least a little bitter. "He likes it here." she adds with a nod, her

Tara is still listening intently to the conversation after her earlier renewal of interest.

Victoria stands up and gives a pout to Va'ynna "Only over here for a few moments and already getting rid of me. Oh, how I feel love." Clearly acting hurt, she gives a sigh "Looks like I should drown my sorrows in beer." She then takes a sip of her beer.

Jason quickly clangs his own beer against his stolen beer as his smirk grows. "Wouldn't exactly say it's my 'thing' either." he admits with a shrug, "Never saw myself-... you know..." he glances around briefly, lowering his voice, "...Being a father? Raising a kid? Li runs over to the table, crawling down under it and letting out a dampened "Rawr!" from underneath.

Nathan tisks and waves a hand dismissively. "I was dehydrated, wounded and it was easy to get lost in there. But, yeah, I suppose you have a small point. Small. Point."

Halisi crosses her arms, listening to the exchange between the two mercenaries in silence.

Sofia is about to respond further until she is interrupted by a fearsome roar. She giggles and leans down, her white hair tumbling across her features as she looks to Li. "Hello cutie!" She smiles widely to Li. "What's your name? Fearsome dinosaur?"

Ilyna nods. "I'd like that," she says. "I've helped out like that before when-...." Maybe mentioning the time after Di Yu wasn't such a good idea, Ilyna realized. "So, I know what I need to do," she adds instead. "I will need to balance it with what Dr. Halisi has in mind for her education, though, but I'll help as much as I can."

Va'ynna giggles, slightly leaning in for a kiss before deciding otherwise considering the beer she's sipping. "Mhm, that's... exactly what I'm doing," she jokes.

Leah lifts her legs up onto her chair and crosses them, sitting atop them with a snicker as she hears Li beneath the table. "Uh oh. I think we have a Li-Rex attacking~" she sings as she leans to her side to get a peek under the table.

Cynthia takes another sip of her beer and then snickers, looking out across the room. "No shit... pretty sure you're supposed to be terrified. I'd be freaking the fuck out... not sure how anyone does it." She furrows her eyebrows, glancing at Jason. "Uh... I'm sure you're gonna do fine though." she adds with a pat on his shoulder, before glancing towards Nathan, Halisi and Ehanis nearby.

Ehanis smirks. "Uh-huh," she says. "At least we're not dead, so... there's that to drink to." She looks over his costume as she abruptly changes the topic. "You really went all in on the costume, I see," she says. "I got the full package for 'Lyna too, but she refused to wear most of it…." A biotic shimmer forms in her left hand as she telekinetically grabs a beer from the counter.

Li giggles, roaring again. "I'm a dinnosaur! Raaaaah!" She bares her teeth at Sofia, stretching her neck as she growls "Caandyyyyyy!"

Tara 's eyes widen, and she seems very confused for a moment before spotting Li under the table, pulling her own legs up into the chair as she studies the child curiously.

Jason's smirk slowly fades back as Cynthia speaks and he swallows hard, nodding slowly. When she finishes, he props his smile back up but quickly slugs back a large portion of his beer. "Yeah... It's gonna be fine." he agrees. Though it sounds as if he's trying to convince himself more than Cynthia. "Absolutely fine." he repeats, trying to drown out the realization that he has a plastic sword strapped to his hip and a fake beard

Halisi furrows her eyebrows, lowering her arms. "Snake...?"

Vasquez nods faintly. "I-... yeah. Sounds like a plan. Probably not the time to sort that out right now though..." she says, looking around with a hint of confusion. "Where's Li...?"

Nathan looks to Halisi and smiles awkwardly, shrugging very minutely. "Uh, yeah... there was a big snake that chased me through the canyon. Big. Could of ate me whole. Only reason I lived was because I dropped a grenade at it."

Sofia laughs and drops onto her knees, crawling under the table with Li. "My brother has a big bag of candy, right over there," she says, pointing to the bag at Nathan's feet. "Wanna go steal it with me?"

Leah snickers silently as she watches Li before straightening back up and looking across the table to Tara. "Having fun?" she asks.

Ilyna raises an eyebrow and turns her head to look around the room. "I... I saw her just a minute ago," she says. "Hmph. Maybe she's about to spring an ambush." She chuckles, not seeming too concerned since no one is getting in or out of this room without Ilyna noticing.

Victoria gives a smile at Va'ynna "Guess I will go socialise. Tell them all about my partner, who does not want to spend time with me." She teased the asari with a smile. "Guess she is only with me for my looks." She joked about that last part.

Cynthia nods, a little distantly. "Uh-huh, you'll do fine!" she says, starting to turn back towards Jason when a beer suddenly flies past her, causing her to scramble out of the way, arms flailing as she gets into a stance as if prepared to punch someone in the face - spilling beer on her jacket in the process. "What the shit?!"

Li glances at the bag and nods enthusiastically, a mischievous grin quickly spreading across her face.

Tara looks to Leah, furrowing her eyebrows. She doesn't seem quite sure how to answer.

Nathan perks an eyebrow as the beer hurls across the room. "That seems safe...". He smirks faintly before flicking his head in the direction of Li, wherever she is over there. "Course I did. I wanted to help give the kid a full experience of Halloween. Plus... c'mon, how often can one dress up as a vampire and just cut loose?" He bares his fangs amd gnashes them, a

Sofia giggles and presses a finger to her own lips, indicating Li to be very quiet. She then starts to stealthily crawl out, beckoning the dinosaur after her. Nate is distracted. Perfect!

Jason watches as the beer is pulled towards Ehanis and gives a glance over to Cynthia, seemingly amused at her reaction. "At ease, soldier." he teases, giving a gesture towards Ehanis to indicate what's going on, "You get used to it once you're around them for a while." he adds. "Guessing you don't see a whole lot of biotics out your way?" He swivels at the waist to toss his empty beer bottle into the bin before starting on a new

Vasquez keeps a faint smile as she glances around. "I have the candy from Earth stashed away in our bedroom. I'm not sure how we're doing this - Halloween wasn't really a big thing on Mars. Did you have something in mind or should I ask Jason?"

Leah tilts her head to the side and scrunches up her nose. "No?" she asks, "Are you hungry...? Thirsty...?" she asks with a gesture over to the counter. "If you're not comfortable, we could just go home once they hand out the candy to Li..." she offers.

Ehanis grabs the beer out of mid air as if it's the most normal thing ever, even if she knew aliens didn't always see it that way. "Hey, I can't be a 'space witch' without using my 'space magic'," she says in her defence, emphasising those terms she got when the costume idea was pitched to her by one of her neighbors. "Yeah, I was sold on this 'halloween' thing the moment the boss talked about it," she finally

Tara 's frown deepens, before fading away. She looks up towards the ceiling where the speakers are. "I like the music." she says quietly, without context, a tiny smile forming.

Ilyna raises an eyebrow. "You're asking me?" she chuckles. "I've been deferring to Jason so far about the celebrations, and that's worked really well. If it were up to me, though, you could... wait until she asks about it."

Cynthia looks around, trying to play off her embarassment with a laugh. "No, we, uh, no we don't!" she says, quickly finishing the rest of her beer with a long swig and putting it on the counter before grabbing another and angling it towards Jason. "Little help here, tinman?" she asks, still looking a little frlustered.

Jasper struts into the room, slipping between Ilyna and Vasquez as The Monster Mash gets to its chorus for about the hundreth time. His doctor's coat has a fresh new stain of grease on it since Nathan and the others last saw him. He tips his hat with a greeting of, "Chief. Ilyna." before chiming in a moment behind the song. Halisi blinks in surprise as she suddenly finds herself being twirled out into the room by Jasper instead of listening to Nathan and Ehanis. It takes her a moment to readjust to the new situation - and to make sure she doesn't accidentally embed a bone saw in anyone, but she keeps up with the old man just fine. "Yes, it's... certainly something." she says with a brief chuckle.

Va'ynna laughs and shakes her head, not offering Victoria more of an answer than that. She wasn't going to indulge her ridiculousness any more. She walks off to the counter to look for a non-alcoholic drink.

Li crawls after Sofia, the sneakiest of all T-Rexes ever to walk the... Aite. Probably the only as well.

Nathan blusters as the holiday is called ridiculous. "It's fun! Come on, admit it, you are enjoying yourself to some degree, aren't you?" As Halisi is suddenly whisked away, Nathan grins and watches. He folds his arms across his chest, merely tapping his foot along to the music. "This is nice."

Sofia sneaks around the room, keeping just out of Nate's eyesight. She motions Li to sneak along the counter, on Ehanis' side. She then darts across and leaps in front of Nathan's vision. "Hey Nate!"

Jasper releases Halisi, giving a jovial chuckle as he takes a step back to look over the room of people. He gives a wink Nathan's way. "Good ta' see so many smiles." he says, "Ya'll been through too damn much to not let loose every now and then."

Vasquez nods faintly, although her responds is delayed as she side-steps Jasper upon his entrance. She glances down towards the less occupied part of the room. "Alright. Just tell me when." she says, heading off towards the kitchen counter with her gaze set on the sandwiches.

Li sneakily moves along the counter, reaching up for the bag of candy when Nathan is distracted, standing on the tip of her toes as she struggles to reach. "Hmmmmnnnn..."

Jason glances towards the beer that's thrusted towards him and scoops it out of Cynthia's hands. He gives an uncomfortable chuckle to the nickname, though breaks his gaze away and focuses on the beer. "Got you covered." he says as he pops the top off and hands it back. "You ever work with any during your time with the Alliance?" he asks, giving a nod towards Ehanis, "Biotics, I mean."

Halisi gains a smile as her chuckle fades, and she nods in agreement with Jasper. "It's nice to have a bit of a break..." she says, glancing up at the decorations briefly. "I heard you're responsible for the... stunning decor, is that right?" she asks, sipping her root beer, which is still not emptied.

Leah's smile returns and she nods. "Well, that's something at least. It's old, I think. Like, reeeeeally old." she explains as she glances up towards the ceiling and listens to the music. "So..." she continues, resting her gaze on Tara once again as she sees an opportunity to prod for information, "...You like music?" She has done her best to keep from pushing too hard into Tara's past, worried about fishing up uncomfortable

Jasper takes a slight bow. "Guilty as charged. Most of it is crap I could find on the extranet quick. Jason didn't gimme a whole lotta time ta' plan anything out, so I did what I could. Good 'nuff, I say."

Victoria decides to finish her beer before dealing with her co-workers. She downs the rest of her beer and make her way back to where the beer is being kept.

Ehanis covers the cap loosely with her left hand, and a moment later she pulls it off, warped and full of small pores. It wasn't a strong warp field, for metal powder doesn't add to the taste. "That it's ridiculous doesn't meant I hate it," she says. "It's what I like about it! Mercs dressing up in silly costumes and just cutting loose."

Nathan starts as Sofia leaps in front of him, his gaze torn away as he glowers at his sister. "What, what?!"

Sofia smiles up at him innocently whilst Li reaches for the candy. Go little dinosaur, go! "You just gonna stand around? Come ooooonnn... dance! Ask someone! Get a flash mob going~!"

Cynthia grabs the bottle with an appreciative nod, taking a swig as she considers his question. "Yeah... twice. Saved our asses both times. Doesn't stop me from being freaked the hell out. They only deployed when things were getting real bad, right? Too valuable for garrisons or backwater patrol duty..."

Ilyna nods, but remains near the door to passively observe the party as she did prior to her conversation with the chief. She wasn't going to refuse an opportunity to limit the amount of candy in the room, though. She chuckles as she sees Sofia and Li's candy heist being executed.

Li makes off as soon as the candy is in hand, struggling to carry the bag while remaining sneaky. as she weaves between the legs of the adults to get back to the safety of the table.

Nathan narrows his eyes and reaches behind him to take a piece of candy from the bag... which is gone. He turns around, eyes wide as he looks frantically for the bag. "Wha-what? Where ha- Sofi!" He whips around to glare at his sister.

Sofia has already flown away after Li, giggling and laughing like a child. She makes to help Li escape by trying to scoop up the dinosaur and help carry the bag. "Ruuuuun~!"

Jason gives a couple of nods. "I didn't have a whole lot of interaction with biotics before I left the Alliance, but I've seen them do some incredible things. I'm sure as hell happy to have them among my team. Invaluable in the field." he says. "Just takes a little getting used to shit flying around." he adds with a grin. As he catches sight of Sofia and Li's candy heist, he gives a chuckle. "Looks like we might need to move on to

Halisi once again nods in response to Jasper. "I think y-..." she's cut off as Sofia storms by, carrying Li in her arms. The scene elicits a chuckle, and she glances towards Nathan. "Seems you need to pay more attention to your surroundings, Tennhausen."

Nathan throws his hands up into the air, but still has a big grin on his face as he steps across to Halisi and Jasper. "I think, at least this once, I'm glad I wasn't." He looks after the pair, shaking his head softly.

Ehanis laughs at the candy-thief / apex-predator gets away with the catch. "I didn't know dinosaurs were theiving creatures," she jokes. "They probably don't put that stuff in the summary." She takes a long sip of her beer.

Vasquez finds herself dodging out of Sofia and Li's way. Her gaze moves between them and Nathan before she grabs a sandwich, the look on her face betraying how hungry she is. Overhearing Jason she gestures towards the door with her head. "It's in the bottom drawer of the dresser." she says before taking a big bite of the sandwich.

Victoria reaches the counter and liberates another beer, giving a slight chuckle at the dinosaur stealing candy. She takes a sip of her drink and walks next to Jason and Cynthia.

Cynthia snickers quietly, her nerves calmed after a couple of sips of beer. She moves over to the nearby Nathan and Ehanis, putting an arm on the human's shoulder. "Just got robbed, huh? Rough." she says with mock sympathy and a pat before looking to the asari, gesturing with her beer. "Must be nice having those... magic beer-fetching powers."

Va'ynna has taken a root beer out of the fridge, looking it over once before assuming that it's non-alcoholic. "We meet again, captain," she murmurs as she walks by her to grab a bottle-opener. She grimaces a bit at the first sip, though, not having had this before.

Nathan turns to Cynthia, taking a moment to place a name to a face... well, face beneath the face paint anyways. "Not the first time. At least this one was the cheapest."

Jason gives a nod in greeting to Victoria as she arrives. As he hears Vasquez, he takes a step away from the counter. "Alright, everyone!" he announces as he starts towards the door, "Time to get this show on the road! Sit tight and I'll be back with the goods!" As he nears the door, he stops beside Ilyna. "Figure we can't really emulate Halloween unless we wanted to take Li all throughout Freedom Falls dressed as a dinnosaur in

Ehanis nods. "Not to mention most adorable," she says, certain despite knowing nothing about his past robberies. "And of course, that's the only thing I ever use that kind of biotics for." Upon hearing Jason's announcement, she turns her head towards him to listen to it. "I didn't think it could get weirder," she says with a grin.

Tara 's smile fades as her expression turns thoughtful. Her gaze falls to the table and she shrugs. "I like this music." she says, but as Jason speaks up she turns her head towards the human.

Ilyna tilts her head at first, not entirely sure about this. Jason knew this celebration better than her, so she was still going to trust him. "You're in charge," she says with a chuckle. "If you think that'll make it more fun for Li, then do it."

Cynthia removes her hand from Nathan's shoulder, folding her arms as Jason speaks, although she soon lifts her bottle to take another sip.

Jason gives a single nod and casts a glance back at the others in the room once more before exiting the room. "Be right back!" he calls back to Ilyna.

Victoria leans against the counter as Jason speaks. She takes a sip of her beer, while she waited for the man to return.

Sofia places Li down when they have fleed a sufficent distance. She smiles broadly to the girl, offering a thumbs up and a wink. "Mission accomplished."

Leah listens to the announcement from her position at the table before turning back to Tara. "Well, sounds like it's time to give out the candy." she says with a smile. "So... What about other music?" she pries.

Li sits down once Sofia puts her down, wasting no time in digging into the stolen bounty. SHe's far too preoccupied with inspecting the candy to pay any attention to Jason.

Tara 's expression turns into a confused frown as she looks at Leah. "How much is there?"

Leah's eyes widen. "Music!?" she asks in disbelief, "Soooooo much! Oh my god, you wouldn't believe it, Tara! When we get home I'm going to play a bunch for you." she continues, obviously excited at the chance to introduce Tara to some of her favorite music. "The good stuff, though! Not that crap my dad listens to."

Halisi empties the last of her drink, placing the empty bottle on the counter and joining Vasquez by the sandwiches. They soon carry a quiet conversation.

Nathan glances to Jasper and points a finger up, indicating the music. "Your doing too?"

Jasper follows Nathan's finger upwards before giving a nod and a sly grin. "Can't beat the classics, Ten. If it was good 'nuff a hundred years ago then, dab nabbit, it's good 'nuff for us! 'Sides, there ain't much else that fits the theme."

Sofia turns her gaze to Tara and Leah. She meanders over, turning her head between the two of them. "Do either of you play an instrument? I mean, you look so excited about it, I figured you would. Leah, you deffo look like you play... the guitar."

Tara nods faintly. "Okay." she agrees in her usual meek manner. "I'd l-..." She turns her attention to Sofia as the girl approaches, immediately going quiet.

Li starts to eat from her recently acquired candy as soon as she is left to her own devices, paying little attention to anything else.

Cynthia glances up at the speakers briefly. "The hell is this anyway?"

Leah's gaze moves to Sofia as she joins in on the conversation. She gives a quick shake of her head. "I'm more of a 'listener' than a 'player'." she says. She gives a quick nod to Nathan as a smile crosses her lips, "I hear your brother is quite the violinist, though. Is that true?"

Jasper hops from one foot to the other, kicking his legs out to the side with each step. "Maybe a-... Maybe a lil' somethin' like this..." he says merrily in response to Nathan's ridiculous question. "Whatcha' talkin' 'bout? It's the Monster Mash!" he explains to Cynthia, as if it should be obvious. "Ain't you got any appreciation for the oldies?"

Nathan merely watches Jasper as he kicks his legs about, grinning and chuckling as he gestures to the man. "I can hear the bones creak with each step. Very authentic!"

Sofia smirks and joins them at the table, slipping into a free seat. "Mhmm. He and I spent time practising together before he left Earth. He came back from time to time too. It was... nice." She smiles lightly, looking between the pair. "Either of you heard him play yet?"

Tara finds herself swaying almost imperceptibly from side to side when it seems like neither of the other two at the table are paying attention to her, a faint smile slowly creeping up as she listens to the goofy tune loop yet again. She doesn't seem to notice that Sofia's question is addressed in part to her.

Victoria looks between Jasper and Cynthia, then finally back to Jasper "I would prefer listening to some good oldies, not just one. Johnny Cash would have been great." She adds to the conversation.

Ehanis snickers at the man's dance routine after sipping her beer. "A century or two doesn't make a song old, just... 'not modern'," she says with a grin as she hears Victoria's argument, knowing full and well that it's a matter of perspective.

Leah gives a shake of her head, smile plastered across her face. "No. Not yet. Hoping to eventually, though!" she says with genuine enthusiasm, though she leaves out the part about teasing him relentlessly about it, "Is he good?"

Jasper scowls at Nathan. "Ain't mah bones you're hearin', that's them two brain cells you got up there smashin' together to try and build a solid thought." he says, followed by a cackle. Upon hearing Victoria, he throws a point her way, "See? Ol' Vicky here knows how to 'ppreciate the good stuff!"

Jason returns with bags of candy draped over each arm. Chocolate, hard candy, soft candy. You name it. All name brands straight from Earth. He made sure Vasquez ordered the good stuff! Strewn over his shoulder are pillow cases. His own pillow cases.

Nathan opens his mouth to snap back a retort, but his attention is drawn to Jason as he walks in. He blinks and wags a finger towards the man. "Are those pillow cases?"

Sofia giggles softly, canting her head at Leah. "He is. Well, was. Not sure about recently. He and I haven't practised yet. He's been a bit busy." She idly twirls her finger into a lock of hair, smiling as she looks between the two women. Her attention is drawn to Tara, mismatched eyes peering at the woman curiosly.

Vasquez and Halisi both go silent as Jason returns, awaiting Halloween instructions.

Tara stops her swaying - and the quiet humming she's started - when she notices Sofia's attention on her. She immediately freezes in place, lowering her gaze and staring at the table.

Victoria goes quiet waiting for Jason to give out the instructions on what they are doing.

Ilyna chuckes as she sees Jason return, but she doesn't say anything as she awaits the instructions. He's probably got an explanation for the pillow cases, anyway.

Leah sensing an opportunity to torment Nathan, gives the woman a big, bright smile. "So you're planning on practicing?" she asks, "You have to invite me over when you do! I'd loooooove to hear it!"

Jason nods a bunch of times to Nathan. "Of course they're pillow cases. Gotta have something to put the candy in, right?" he passes a glance over to Ilyna with a smirk, "They're clean. Don't worry. But I-... uhh... am gonna need it back once you get the candy home." he says with a sheepish shrug. As he steps further into the room, he makes his way over to Li and drops one of the pillowcases on top of her dino hood, then takes

Jasper glances to Jason and gives a nod. He brings up his omni-tool and lowers the music volume until it's almost nonexistant.

Li startles as her candy consumption is interrupted by a sudden pillow case, which she immediately struggles to pull off, looking around in confusion once she's freed.

Nathan grins and falls silent, watching Jason.

Sofia smiles to Tara, glancing away sheepishly to Leah. She smirks and nods before looking to the knight, canting her head softly.

Leah practically winces as the pillowcase is tossed in front of Tara, quite obviously in on it. She looks to Tara and gives a shrug of her shoulders, big bright smile still on her face as she studies the woman.

Ilyna smiles. "Of course," she says with a quietly added, "If I remember." Or rather, will the dinnosaur trust anyone else to transfer the candy to another container….

Tara blinks, looking at the pillowcase with a confused look. She looks to Leah for explanation.

Va'ynna watches Jason from where she stands by the counter.

Ehanis raises an eyebrow. "Uh, why give them out at all?" she mutters, as she does assume there's some weird cultural significance to it.

Jason takes a few steps back from the table so he can face the room, taking a position back by the door beside Ilyna. He gives her a glance and chuckles. "I'll be sure to remind you." he says before looking out over the room. "Alright. Before we get started, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for coming out." he says, passing a glance around the room. "When Linda and I decided to come out here, we took a big risk. Kind

Vasquez gains a faint, but genuine smile as she listens, tilting her head slightly as she studies their employees from the back of the room.

Leah gives another shrug of her shoulders to Tara as she half-listens to Jason. She reaches out, pushing the pillowcase closer to Tara. "It's for candy!" she says in a whisper.

Nathan smiles, but it takes a slightly fainter tone as he gazes around to the rest of the mercenaries.

Li quickly loses interest in Jason's speech, but the bad word does not go unmentioned, and she giggles to herself, a mischievous grin on her face.

Jasper reaches into his coat, pulling a small flask of his home-brewed stuff from the inner pocket and uncapping it. He gives a nod to Jason and lifts his flask slightly before taking a sip and recapping it.

Sofia simply smiles silly-like at the big bad mercenaries dressed up in costume.

Cynthia snickers to herself, shaking her head as Jason points out the inherent silliness of the party. She takes another long swig of her beer and glances at Nathan, studying his expression for a moment before looking out across the room again.

Victoria takes another sip of her drink and keeps her attention on Jason for the time being.

Tara still looks confused, but takes the pillowcase none the less. "What do you want me to do?" she asks quietly, keeping her head lowered but glancing to the side at Leah.

Jason sucks in a deep breath and shrugs his shoulders. "Well, let's get right to the point of this little get-together, then!" he says. "We'll have groups go into separate rooms. Vicky and V in one. Nate and his sister in another. Me and Vasquez in one. Jasper, a sad, lonely old man in one. Etcetera. Etcetera." he gets a quick dig in as he winks to Jasper, "I think Mendez is still downstairs, too. Anyway, Ilyna and Leah will take

Leah nods in Jason's direction. "Get candy." she says to Tara with a wiggle of her eyebrows.

Jasper merely flips Jason off, muttering to himself.

Victoria gives a scoff at Jason "Guess that means you get to fly the shuttle next time. No lessons of course."

Nathan offers Jason a thumbs up and waves his sister to follow him. "Alrighty!"

Ilyna looks towards Jason for most of the speech, finding herself wiping below her eyes at the end of it. It was heartwarming that everyone got together for Li as it illustrates just how fantastic a family the agency has become to them. After Jason delegates work, she starts making her way over to Li's side, and crouches down. "You heard him, right?" she asks.

Sofia gives Leah a nod. "See you soon," she says before looking to Tara and smiling. "Have fun." She quickly moves after Nate, almost skipping in her step.

Li looks up at Ilyna and nods. "It's time for the tricking now!" she says confidently.

Va'ynna gives a exaggerated sigh. "Looks like I... won't be getting away from you... anyway," she says as she steps over to stand beside her.

Ehanis scoffs at not being delegated any task. "What about me?" she asks. "If even Ten can do this, so can I."

Tara 's confusion remains, but she nods. "Okay..." she says uncertainly, not one to protest.

Jason glances to Ehanis and tosses a bag of candy her way. "Pick a room! Close the door! I've got faith that you can figure it out!" he teases, "Or pair up with some of the others! It's up to you." He tosses the rest of the candy on the table. "One bag per grouping!" he announces.

Leah hops up from her position atop her seat and rounds the table to stand beside Tara. "It'll be fun!" she assures her.

Victoria gives a smile to Va'ynna "That is good in my books. Lets get a bag and find a room."

Cynthia finishes her new beer with one last, long swig and starts heading towards the exit, but stops by Ehanis. "Hey, space-witch person. I don't have any candy. Pair up?" she asks with an eyebrow wiggle (which distorts her skull-makeup in an odd way).

Tara slowly gets out of her feet and stands up, remaining in place as she awaits further instructions.

Ehanis catches the bag after slowing it down mid-air with her biotics. "Yeah, yeah." Her search for the turian was interrupted before it even began when Cynthia addresses her. "Yeah, sure," she says. "Where are we going? I almost never come here, so it wouldn't surprise me if you knew the place better than I do."
