#Siren'sCall – March 18, 2016

Victoria | The shuttle's flight took the team to the far outskirts of Freedom falls, the town could not be seen by the naked eye. It was possible to just see some of the farms that were on the outskirts of the town. The ship was in sight, it look it had turian origin with it's design. Vicky began to land the shuttle quite some distance away from the ship. "We got a bit of a walk to do but, it should give us the element of surprise."

Renala raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure about that?" she asks. "If they picked up the shuttle on their radar, they'd be stupid not to keep an eye on us." She reaches under her seat and picks up the helmet.

Nathan hums. "Hopefully there ain't any long range missiles fixed on us...".

Jason gives a shake of his head. "And we'd possibly be leaving our escape route cut off." he says. "I don't like the idea of being stuck in there with no way out if things go south. Can you get the shuttle in?"

Jattic grunts, rolling his eyes from behing his helmet. "Assaulting a ship on foot. That's not something you see everyday..."

Jason gives a shrug of his shoulders. "We don't have a choice. I'd prefer if you could get us in the cargo bay. We disembark and hit them right out of the gate. I don't have any desire to jog across an open field to attack a group of people that will be able to spot us from miles away."

Jason lets out a deep breath and a shake of his head. "Do what you've gotta do, Vicky. But I'd like to go on record as saying this is a bad idea." he says, securing his helmet in place as he readies to disembark.

Renala hums. "Why can't you drop us off by the bay door?" she says, "then come back around when we've secured the cargo bay."

Jason ignores Nathan's question for now until he knows more info. "That works, Vicky. How close can you get us?"

Nathan cradles his launcher in his lap.

Victoria focuses on flying the ship "About 20 yards will be the closest I can get you to it. Now be quiet while I get us as close as I can."

Renala puts on her helmet, secures it and stands up. She holds onto a the handholds near the ceiling.

Jason gives a nod, pointing at Nathan. "Get that smoke ready. 20 yards is a lot of gunfire to dodge." he says as he stands up, grabbing the handhold beside Renala and pulling the Revenant from his back.

Nathan stands and primes his launcher for smoke grenades. He nods. "Ready boss."

Jason taps the side of his helmet. "Comms check." he announces over their comms channel. "Everyone good?" He steps back and forth in place, from one foot to the other as he waits for Victoria to close the gap as much as she can and slide the doors open.

Jattic climbs to his feet behind Jason and Renala, removing the Vindicator from his back. "Fine on my end." he growls, gripping his weapon tightly in one hand.

Renala nods. "Hearing you loud and clear, Wolfe," she replied with a similar tap on her helmet.

Nathan nods as his HUD primes up, collaborating data. Small icons appear down the left side, one for each member of the squad. "Check, good to go."

Jason lets go of his handhold and grips his Revenant in both hands. "Looking like your boys are ready to rock and roll!" he shouts back to Vicky. "Let them know we're heading straight for the cargo hold and fill them in on our plan! Ten, make sure we get to the cargo bay doors in one piece!"

Renala readies her Locust submachine gun and loads a clip into it, waiting for orders.

Jason glances over his shoulder at Ten and steps aside a bit to give the man space. "Do it. The second that smokescreen is up, we book it towards the cargo hold and we don't stop until we're inside and behind cover."

Nathan nods and steps towards the exit. He raises his launcher and fires multiple shots, each spaced out a fair distance from the next. Within a few seconds, he has formed a barrier of smoke.

Jason bounces on the balls of his boots a few times as he waits for the smoke to spread out. Once a solid screen has taken shape, he hops from the side of the shuttle and breaks into a sprint towards the cargo hold.

Renala nods and waits for Ten to deploy the smoke screen. Once it is up, she grips the weapon in one hand and starts running towards the cargo bay, trying to keep up with Jason. A biotic shimmer is slowly forming around her.

Nathan waves for Jattic to go, then he would follow behind the Batarian. He holsters his launcher and draws his rifle whilst sprinting.

Jattic wastes no time taking Nathan's place behind Renala. He moves at a slower pace than the asari, shouldering his Vindicator and looking for any targets that may present themselves once the team emerges through the barrier of smoke.

Victoria | The cargo bay has several large crates laying around most of them were towards the large door in the back. There was 5 crates close to the ramp the team entered in, two large enough only to protect a single person, while the other three were big enough to protect two.

Victoria | Near the large door in the back in cover were 5 armed individuals firing back at the krogan and human. Two were batarian, two were human and one was a turian.

Jason raises his Revenant once he comes through the other side of the smokescreen and slows his pace, opening up with a volley of gunfire on the combatants firing back at Austin and Krath as he walks towards one of the large crates. His new arms make handling the recoil of the heavy weapon a breeze. "Get to cover so we can establish a foothold!" he commands over comms.

Nathan makes towards one of the crates only able to cover one man. He presses against it and peers around the corner, his HUD highlighting their foes. He pokes around, targets the turian, and fires a few disciplined bursts at him. He then pops back into cover.

Jattic stomps through the smoke and immediately begins sending rounds downrange with his Vindicator. He's not focusing fire on any one target, instead aiming to assist in reducing all of their shields. A shot plinks off his shields, causing them to fizzle slightly, but he keeps stomping forward towards cover.

Renala runs towards a small crate near the door.

Victoria | The turian was trying to get the door opened, while the humans were behind a large crate together in the middle. A batarian was next to the turian in cover. The last batarian was off in the far corner firing at the crate Nathan at taken cover in. A harpoon found itself lodged into the crate he was behind. The turian losing his shields went into cover next to the batarian near him. The humans ducked from Revenant rounds.

Victoria | Austin rushed into one of the crates that provide for two people, he sheathed his shotgun and drew an avenger firing at the lone Batarian. The krogan was reloading his shotgun before he did anything. "Jason, is it cleared for me to park this thing?" The comm buzzed with Vicky's voice.

Jason continues spraying rounds across the cargo hold as he makes his way over to cover, hoping to keep the enemies' heads down. As he finishes emptying his entire first clip, he reaches his intended cover and begins the process of replacing his thermal clip. "Clear? No. But we're working on it. Is everyone in!?" he checks in over comms as a fresh thermal clip clicks into place.

Renala figures the other has the situation under control and enables her omni-tool. "I am," she makes a quick reply over the comms before starting a program to scan for wireless devices, trying to access those it finds.

Jattic stops to catch a breather once he reaches cover, ducking his head as he responds over comms. "I'm in. I counted five hostiles near the door. Our shots seem to have made a few of them think twice about sticking their heads out." he growls. As soon as his comms click off, he swings out of cover and focuses fire on the batarian firing at Nathan.

Nathan hums slightly. "I'm here too. Thinking I could flush out these guys with some flashbangs. Think I even have some toxic ones too." He leans out of cover and sends a quirk burst at any of the foes, is shields sparking as a shot connects.

Victoria | Renala would be able to find the communications devices, she might be able to disable them and disrupt their communications. The two humans raises their heads after Jason's spraying stops. Both firing at the cover he took. Jattic was able to knock down the shields of the harpoon batarian, but he gets a round off towards Jattic location before hiding back into cover. The other batarian tries to fire at Austin but the few quick shots

Renala takes what she can get, and gets to work on disabling their communicators so that they can't relay tactical information to the crews on other floors.

Jason turns his head to the opposite side as rounds plink off of his cover, keeping him suppressed. "Do it, Ten!" he responds, "We need to deal with these assholes quick so we can push forward. The longer we take, the more time they have to arm themselves and take defensive positions."

Victoria | Krath is seen breaking cover throwing a grenade towards the turian and batarian, the grenade lands a burst out in an inferno. The screams of a turian is heard, while the pained yells of the batarian are heard as he rushes for new cover. Austin goes to suppressing the humans, making one go back into cover.

Nathan pulls out his launcher and primes it for flashbangs. He leans around the corner and fires off two in separate directions, aiming to blind as many as he can. Then, he pulls off a grenade and slings it at the group at the back, detonating in a noxious cloud of harmful toxins once it reaches close proximity to them.

Jattic roars as one of his ol' pals, a Kishock harpoon, drags across his shoulder, rending the metal of his armor at an odd angle which causes it to ricochet off to the side and embed in the crate beside him. He seems unphased by the close call, and makes a conscious effort not to acknowledge his heart beating out of his chest. Taking note of the fact that they all seem to have retreated back into cover, he pulls back into

Jason lowers his head in a bow as he waits for the sound of the grenades going off. "Stay close, Vicky. As soon as we've cleared the cargo bay, we'll be moving right on towards the elevators."

Victoria | Renala is successful in her attempt at cutting their communications, the hack was not difficult as it seemed their gear was not built for defence against hacking. The screaming turian is still screaming in pain. The batarian that is running for new cover and the two humans are hit by the flash bang. One human is out of cover standing, while the other is in cover. The batarian is throwing a hand in front to find cover, while walking.

Victoria | Krath made his way towards the harpoon batarian, he was hit by the effects of the flash bang but simply not caring for anything in his way as he knocked over some crates on his journey. Austin had to reload his weapon at such a poor timing, he swung back into cover and reloaded his weapon.

Jattic rushes out of cover once the flashbang goes off. Holding his Vindicator at his side with his left hand, he bursts into a sprint towards the harpoon batarian. Being familiar with the weapon, he knows the batarian won't be able to get off another shot before he can reach him. He bares his sharp, jagged teeth and lets out a thunderous roar as his right arm is enveloped in a bright orange glow which quickly encircles his

Nathan ducks out the way of the harpoon. He contents himself with watching Jattic going to smash some skulls, whistling lowly. "Gotta get me one of those," he mutters as he watches the gauntlet form. He holsters his launcher and fires off a burst at the blinded foes.

Jason tilts his Revenant to the side, ensuring his thermal clip is locked in place. "Nice work, Renala. Sounds like that grenade hit its mark, Ten." He swings out of cover and lowers into a shooters stance as he stalks towards the enemy, opening up with an explosion of gunfire towards the remaining enemies.
