Ilyna approaches the door leading out to space, a little weirdly at first as she gets used to walking with magnetic boots again.

Steve presses a hand against the panel to the passenger's module, causing the door to slide shut. "When you're back, just tap your gun against the door a few times and I'll open it." He gives a glance back towards the bridge, "Or have Vicky let me know."

Leah continues to struggle with her undersuit, grunting loudly as she does. "Anyone care to fill me in on just what the hell is going on right now? I'm completely in the dark right now..." she glances around the room with a sigh, "...both figuratively and literally."

There is a shudder throughout the ship and a faint hum soon spreads in the rear section. A moment later emergecy lights come on - along with, without any warning, the gravity. (Tyranniac)

Acknowledged

Ilyna has already tapped the button to open the door by the time lights start to come on and if successful, steps outside and looks for a path. She will shut the door behind her. Her comms are set as always-on, as stated before.

Steve glances around as the lights come on. "Where'd that come from?" he asks aloud, glancing back towards Victoria, "Eh Vicky? You gettin' anything over comms?"

The air is sucked out of the front-half corridor and the bridge as Ilyna opens the door, causing warning lights to go off in the bridge as the suddenly-sprung-to-life consoles start blinking and alarming. The only path available to Ilyna would be the spine above - she would likely see that the control panel for the door on the other side is now powered. (Tyranniac)

(Comms) Where're these lights comin' from? I know you ain't gotten all the way over there yet, Ilyna!

(Comms) Should I go back inside? I just left the ship.

Philip crashes to the floor with a smash and a groan. "Nnnngh... I hate space..." (Tyranniac)

Victoria looks at the console infront of her to see if the lights and gravity has changed anything with here. (Comms) ''There must be someone in the back already. It still might be an idea to send someone into the back to make sure it is safe.''

Halisi falls to the floor, just barely managing to avoid landing on Damien. She gets on her feet soon enough. (Tyranniac)

Damien has a minute drop to the floor, but nevertheless, he stirs awake. "Wha- I pass out again? Fucking hell...', he mutters, pulling himself up from the ground. He grips his side and groans. "Ow...".

What happened while I was out?

(Comms) I will continue, then. Is there anyone that could let me in through the airlock now that we've got power again? When I get there, of course.

Ilyna looks around outside, trying to see where it's best to walk with magboots.

Leah crashes to the floor hard, giving a loud pained grunt as she does, her comms still active. "For fuck's sake!" she shouts, "The batarian must've got the gravity back on." She uses her arms to push herself back against the cabinets and reaches out to grab her omni-tool, "Now will one of you please tell me what in the hell is going on!?"

Jason falls to the floor, but manages to keep from falling over by grabbing the bedpost. "Shit... You alright, Monroe?" he asks, "Someone got the power back on... No telling what in the fuck is going on back there. Ilyna is heading back to check it out. All we can do right now is wait and see."

Damien looks at Jason, rubbing his head. "Hell of a headache...".

Anything I can do to help?

Halisi kneels next to Damien. "You passed out for a bit there, but you should be alright. Just... don't exert yourself." (Tyranniac)

Jasper was quasi-sitting in his bunk when the power came back on, so he just plopped back down on his bed as the gravity returned. "Seems like one of the folks onboard was infected." he informs Leah over comms, "Got into the bridge and caused some damage. Cargo hold got spaced in the proccess. We're doin' what we can to get back there an' pick them folks up."

Jattic tumbles to the ground with a grunt as gravity is restored. He pulls himself back to his feet quickly, in hopes that nobody saw his tumble.

Sure, doc.

Damien nods and hesitantly gets to his feet. "If I can help, just give me a yell. I may be crippled, but I ain't useless," he chuckles.

Jason sighs. "Think we all feel a bit useless right now..." he says, "Not much we can do without any oxygen out there..."

Ilyna starts walking across the spine. "I see the door on the other end is powered," she says (into the comms). "Is that hallway sealed, or can I use the airlock?"

Leah finishes tugging her undersuit on. "Huh? Why do you need to use the airlock?" she asks, "Don't tell me the cargo hold was the only way to get back here..."

How're the others doing? Any survivors at the other end?

(Comms) It is the only way. I'm outside the ship right now.

Leah and the engineer're back there. Seem to be alright. For now at least.

Damien releases a breath. "Good... Good. We haven't lost any more of ours."

Leah sighs loudly. "Well I'm not sure what I can do to help. With the gravity back online, getting around isn't exactly easy for me. I don't know what's sealed and what isn't, but if there's power restored to the airlock, you should be able to use it regularly without depressurizing the rest of this end, right?"

Victoria checks over the console to see if it is working and if it is capable to pilot the ship.

Karana 's voice can soon be heard on the ship's comms. "This is Karana in engineering. Captain, are you there?" (Tyranniac)

(Comms) That's what I'm hoping for, but I don't think the door on the outside is open.

Ilyna is halfway across now.

Leah rotates herself around to face the cabinet and pulls the cabinet doors open once more. "Shit. Alright, give me a minute to get my gear on. I'll see what I can do about getting to the airlock to let you in. I don't know who else is back here, so depressurizing the whole tail isn't really an option." she says as she begins to pull her armor out.

Jason gives a nod. "Not yet... Let's hope it stays that way."

Victoria talks over the ships comms ''This is Victoria Steels, with Redrock. Someone how one of those things go onto the ship and into the cockpit. We are sending someone into the back to make sure no more of those things are here. Is life support working?''

(Comms) I'm working on getting the rest of the ship's systems online. Where's the captain?

Damien looks down and notices that he has some of the blue gunk on him, from when he collapsed in the shower room. "Doc... Uh, I think I may need a change of clothes...".

The proto-adjutant shoots itself towards Mendez when exposed, clawing at him with a newly deformed hand. (Karana)

Halisi looks down at the infectious goo and nods. "Strip - carefully. You don't want any of that in your face or an open wound." (Karana)

Uh, right...

Damien starts undressing, pulling off his vest. He hisses in pain, his rib flaring. Dark bruising has spread on his right abdominals, a nasty discolouration. "I hate those things... So much...".

Leah begins strapping her armor plates in place. "Working as fast as I can, Ilyna. You never realize how blessed you are to be able to pull on a pair of pants until your legs stop working."

Jason takes a couple steps back from Damien as he looks over the blue goo on his clothes. "You and me both... Keep that stuff away from anyone. We need to take it to the showers and fucking burn it as soon as we have the chance."

(Comms) "It seems like that thing that got into the cockpit..... killed him. The cargo hold has also been ejected, so we are gonna try and re-attached it."

Damien kicks the shirt away from everyone, now standing half naked. "Just space the fucking thing."

Halisi nods in agreement with Damien. "Spacing is a better option." (Karana)

(Comms) Fuck... fuck! Alessa and Steve?

Ilyna keeps walking across the spine, and is three quarters of the way to the opposite door now. "I understand," she says over the comms. "I need to be inside before we start moving, though."

Damien looks at his bandaged stump, face contorting into a pained look. "I can't fucking afford a replacement... Cyber or limb growth...".

Hey, whatever works. I just want that....

Jason nods at the goo-covered clothes. "...far away from any of us."

Halisi frowns at Damien's words. "Don't... don't worry about that now. We'll figure it out when we get back to Aite." (Karana)

(Comms) "We have not seem them. I'll see if we can get someone to look for them." Looked back at Briggs "Hey Briggs, check the other rooms for the crew."

Doc... We're floating in a tin can that has its captain killed, infected colonists and has just had its cargo spaced with three of the passengers. I'll rather worry about my arm for my sanity's sake...

Halisi does her best to look reassuring. "We'll be okay. Power is coming back." (Karana)

Steve glances back towards the bridge. "Fuck the crew. We need to worry about our own right now. With Ilyna out there, I ain't about to risk my ass for a bunch of assholes I hardly even know."

Jason shakes his head. "Redrock takes care of its own, Monroe. I can't give you an exact time frame, but you'll get your arm back. You have my word."

Damien shakes his head, dropping onto a bunk. "Don't make promises you can't keep, Jason," he mutters. "Besides, Leah is needing the attention more. I can survive with one arm."

Jason snorts loudly. "Oh, you think I'd be doing it for you? Get over yourself. Can't exactly have a one-armed man watching my ass the next time we're in the field." he says, forcing a smirk to let the man know he's joking.

(Comms) "Karana, I will be back on the comms in a few moments." Vicky stood up from the pilot's seat "Hey Steve, you forget that one of them risked her life to open the cargo bay." She said in an angry tone as she went to the kitchen to look for the crew.

The kitchen is empty aside from a mess of spilled food and cutlery. (Karana)

And she probably got her ass killed because of it. There's a lesson for ya, Vick. Stick your neck out for others enough times and eventually, someone's gonna lop it off.

Ilyna is now across and outside the doorway, but she remains out of range of possibly accidentally hitting the interface. "I'm across, but I'll try walk around to the airlock." She looks around for a way to get to the airlock and whether artificial gravity affects her.

There is no easy way to the airlock from her current position. She'll have to crawl around to the top of the spine - or endure the disorientation of trying to walk around it to reach the top of the ship (Karana)

Victoria moves to the crew quarters to look for them ''Wow look how hard it is to look in a fucking room? So fucking hard, I think I earned double my wages.''

Damien laughs, grateful for the change in mood. "You're a bastard, y'know that?"

Leah pulls her boots on with a grunt. "Copy. Just about done. Fuck this is exhausting..." she complains before pulling on her helmet and locking it in place. She grabs her omni-tool and slots it into her armor and holsters her Mattock. "On my way to the airlock now." she says over comms, "Wishing I wouldn't have missed arm day this week..."

Ilyna starts walking around the spine, since crawling with mag boots would be a bit awkward.

The overlapping metal sheets and folds make for treacherous footing, and the fact that she's making a 180 degree turn is sure to cause disorientation. (Karana)

Leah slowly begins pulling herself across the floor, dragging her legs behind her. Her current state as well as the effects of using her biotics have left her quite exhausted.

Karana looks over her shoulder from the engine room as Leah drags herself into the hallway. She glances at her console before moving over to the woman. She seems a bit unsure of what to do about the mad human crawling around on the floor. (Karana)

Ilyna stops every now and then to orient herself. "Getting to the airlock is harder than it looks," she says over the comms, "but I'll do my best." She gets to her knees carefully and starts crawling, making sure to always have one foot magnetically fixed to a part of the hull.

In the crew module Victoria would find Alessa standing with her handgun aimed at the door, tears streaming down her face. The children are hiding behind her, terrified, and Steve lies dead in front of Alessa, riddled with bullet-holes and with a familiar sickly gray skintone. (Karana)

Steve cocks an eyebrow at Victoria. "Didn't say it was hard. Said I wasn't doin' it."

Victoria slowly puts her hands up ''Alessa, it is alright. There are no more of those things on the ship.'' She said trying to ease her and ignoring Briggs.

Leah frowns at Karana. "You gonna just stand there? One of ours is outside the airlock, I need to let her in. Give me a hand."

Karana blinks. "How... about you just stay here, human? I'll let her in." She disappears behind the door to the airlock.

Leah grumbles and pushes herself up against the corridor wall. "Whatever..."

(Comms) The engineer is at the airlock, Ilyna. She'll let you in.

Mendez is caught by the adjutant's first swipe, causing a large gash to tear across his shirt which instantly begins to drip with blood. He reaches out to grab the creature's arms and pull him into headbutting range.

Alessa keeps the gun raised at Victoria for a while before lowering it and sliding down against the wall, sobbing. (Karana)

Ilyna reaches the roof. "I'm above you right now, I'll be at the airlock shortly," she says over the comms and continue making her way to the airlock door. She eventually reaches given no space-adjutants or other hindrances.

There are no hindrances. What a wonderfull spacewalk! (Karana)

Steve continues to watch Victoria. "We got a live one?"

Damien paces the room, running a hand through his hair.

Karana looks up as Ilyna's boots clunk against the hull above. She presses a few buttons in the interface and the outer airlock door slides open for the asari.

(Comms) Everything goin' smoothly out there, Ilyna?

"The pilot is alive, the other turned into one of those things." Victoria walked to Alessa "Hey, lets get you out of this room. The passenger module, might be better."

Ilyna walks around the doorframe and enters around it on the side, making her effectively lie on the floor, which is a safe enough place to rejoin the gravity club.

(Comms) I'm inside the airlock now.

Alessa just shakes her head, face obscured by her hair. (Karana)

The outer airlock door closes and the room starts pressurising, same with the corridor and the bridge - it appears Karana has gotten life support online. After a while the inner airlock door opens. (Karana)

(Comms) Well, shit. Looks like we're back in business!

Ilyna disables the magboots and gets to her feet while the airlock is pressurising. She smiles slightly once the inner door opens. "Thank you," she says. "Is everything under control here?" She has still not disabled the always-on on her comms, but she does so after saying that.

Yeah, I've cleared the rear section. Any news about Alessa and Steve?

"Look Alessa, stay here or go into the passenger module. I gotta try and re-attach the cargo hold." Vicky left the room and started to head towards the pilot's chair "Briggs, kids are in there with the pilot."

Steve gives Victoria a thumbs up. His helmet obscures the look he's giving her, which would read 'And I should care... why?' if she were able to see it.

Ilyna enables her commns to say: "Any news on Alessa and Steve?"

(Comms) "Alessa is alive, Steve turned into one of those things. Alessa had to kill him.... Am I all good to fly this now?"

Ilyna frowns. "Alessa survived, but... Steve didn't," she tells the batarian. "Is the ship ready to move?"

Jasper looks around the room at the others. "Sounds like we're all good for now. Vicky found another survivor. Alessa. Sounds like Steve-... Their Steve..." he corrects, "...didn't make it."

Karana looks at Ilyna in disbelief for a while before grunting and turning to go back to engineering. "Yes. Nothing was damaged. Get us out of here." She says in a rather monotonous way before going without another word.

Leah glances up at the airlock door as Karana exits it.

Victoria starts pressing buttons and sees if she can notice where the cargo hold is on the sensors.

Jason looks at the floor and shakes his head. "Shit..." he mutters. He glances over at Halisi, "How did this happen, doc? Didn't you clear everyone when we reboarded?"

Ilyna nods. "We need to reattach the cargo hold first." She then gets on the comms. "The ship is ready to go."

The cargo hold is indeed visible on the sensors, and it is not far away. (Karana)

The husk reels from the headbutt but resumes attacking by scratching across Mendez' back and unhinging its jaw as metal tubes start to emerge in a sickening display. (Karana)

(Comms) How's it lookin, Vicky? You gon' be able to fly 'er?

Victoria starts moving the ship slowly closer to the cargo hold as she learns the controlls (Comms) ''Moving her to get the cargo hold now.''

Leah stares idly at the door, unwilling to move to get a view inside the airlock. "We lose anyone else, Ilyna?" she calls out, "Tell me we didn't lose anyone else..."

Mendez grimaces as the creature claws his back. He wraps his left hand around one of the tubes snaking out of its mouth and slams his right hand into the adjutant's head.

Ilyna walks through to the hallway. "We didn't," she says. She looks around the hallway. "At least not in the front. I don't know... how the people in the cargo hold are faring."

The adjutant's head is knocked back violently, causing the whole creature to spin in the zero-g cargo hold. The lighting from Athorus' flashlight is sporadic at best as he tries to move in closer to help. (Karana)

Mendez continues to hold on to the adjutant, repeatedly slamming his fist into it's head. His swings are wild and a bit sloppy due to the spinning.

Leah sighs. "Who was in the cargo hold?" she asks.

Victoria wil have to match the cargo holds rotating if she is to reattach it. (Karana)

The husk is slammed until its neck breaks with a crack - fortunately the cybernetics have not developed enough to keep the body mobile - only the head is still attacking. (Karana)

Victoria looks at the sensor to see if it tells what the rotation is for the cargo hold.

Mendez releases his grip on the tubing and grasps the creature's head on both sides, attempting to crush it with his palms.

The husk's head is crushed, sending brains and bits flying in every direction in what is no doubt a very messy display. (Karana)

Athorus recoils a bit. (Karana)

I haven't kept track. But Mendez and Garr is there, and I heard from the drell not too long ago.

Jasper gives the rest of the people in the passenger's module a glance. "She's movin' to pick up the cargo hold now. Assumin' she's able to pull this maneuver off, we should be good."

Reattaching the cargo hold mid-spin is going to require some skilled piloting - the ship's sensor help to some degree, of course. (Karana)

Ilyna walks over to the med bay doorway and aims inside, looking for any threats.

Leah mutters to herself. "Shit... You think Victoria can actually pull this off? I don't know a whole lot about piloting a ship, but that sounds like it would require some serious precision..."

Halisi looks at Jason, perhaps a bit offended. "What? Of course I did! I checked everyone." (Karana)

Jason puts a hand up, "I'm just asking. So, if you checked everyone... Then we need to know how this happened. How do we know if anyone else is infected if they weren't showing any sort of symptoms?"

Victoria tries her best to match the rotation of the cargo hold, slowly down so she could match the rotation easier.

She sounds confident, at least.

Halisi shakes her head. "I don't-... it doesn't make sense. Its a very violent transformation. Symptoms should be easily detectably even in early stages." (Karana)

Leah tilts her head to the side. "Victoria doesn't strike me as the 'precise' sort.... Lets hope her confidence is well placed."

I've been almost swimming in this shit!

Jason stares at Halisi blankly for a few moments. "And this means... what exactly? If we can't detect the symptoms, then any of us could be infected...?"

Now... I don't mean to alarm ya'll... But what ol' Vicky is about to attempt is gon' be a pretty difficult maneuver to pull off. Ya might wanna...

Halisi considers this for a moment, but seems to discard the possibility. "No, that doesn't match my research. It's more likely we had a stowaway, or... where's the prisoner?" Her voice almost goes into a panic at the last part. (Karana)

Jasper lets out a deep breath and gives a shrug. "Hold onto 'yer butts."

Jattic rolls his eyes, saying it along with the old man. "Hold on to our butts. Yes, yes... We know."

The med-bay cotains scattered supplies and a very dead Father Marchal. (Karana)

Leah smirks as she watches Ilyna look into the infirmary. "He started it." she insists.

The ship shudders and shakes violently as Victoria tries to reconnect - the manuever fails, causing the hulls to grind against each other loudly - this does however stop the rotation of the cargo hold for the most part. (Karana)

Damien cringes.

Philip is quite unconcious. (Karana)

Ilyna stumbles into the med/bay as she didn't expect that, landing on all fours. "I believe you," she says. "He were probably waiting for an opportunity all along."

The pri-... Father Marchal? What would it matter where he is? He'd still have to be infected to pass it along, wouldn't he? I mean, you did check him too, right?

Jason falls forward as the ship shakes. He catches himself with his hand, but due to only having one of the things these days, his wounded shoulder crashes hard into the ground. He lets out a pained cry.

Jattic is hurled to the ground once more. He growls and pulls himself back up, using the bunk for support.

Jasper gives a smug look around the room, as he was, in fact, holding onto his butt. So he's still sitting comfortably in place on his bed. "Tol' ya it might be rocky."

Damien cringes and goes tumbling, wacking his head against a bunk. "BASTARD!"

Ilyna gets up to her feet and walks over to the door leading to life support. She draws her weapon and opens the door, keeping it aimed down.

Victoria grinds her teeth ''Mother fu...'' She decreased the speed of the ship and see if there are any locking system to lock the cargo hold in place.

Mendez swirls about in the cargo hold, struggling to find something to grab to stop his rotation. "What in the hell was that!?" he calls out, "Athorus, were we hit by something!?"

Halisi nods. "His bloodwork came out clean, yes, but-..." She's tossed to the floor, landing on her hands and knees with a grunt. (Karana)

Leah is jostled, but already being on the ground, it didn't alter her situation much. "Is that a good grinding, or a bad grinding?" she asks over comms.

Athorus looks around in confusion before shining his flashlight up and seeing the freighter through the skylight above. "The ship!" (Karana)

Steve is tossed to the side, but he manages to get a hand on the opposite wall of the corridor to keep himself upright. "The hell is goin' on in there, Vick!?" he calls out as he jogs back towards the bridge, "We alright!?"

Bad!

She will need to align more closely with the cargo bay before locking in. (Karana)

(Comms) "This is not an easy fucking job." Vicky goes about trying to align the cargo hold more closely.

Mendez manages to get a hand on a cargo box and grab ahold of it, but rather than stopping his spinning, it just brings the box along for the ride. "Fu-... Contact them! Ask what they want us to do!"

(Comms) Don't nobody think it is, Vicky! But you can do it, girl! I know ya can!

The life support room is clear. Ilyna receives only a glance from Karana. "I told you, I've cleared this area." She says with a grunt. (Karana)

I just wanted to make sure.

Jason slowly pushes himself back up to his knees, favoring his wounded shoulder. "Shit... The ship okay?" he asks.

Jasper gives a nod. "Think so. Vicky ain't said nothin' 'bout us fallin' to pieces. Just a lil' bump."

Little?!

Damien has cut his forehead against the impact.

Jasper shrugs. "All about perspective, right? Two large objects crashin' into each other without rippin' one another apart... Whole lot better than that loose cargo hold rippin' the spine of this here ship in half, wouldn't ya say? Perspective. Lil' bump."

Bah.

Ilyna shuts the life support door again and moves over to sit beside Leah.

Leah glances over at Ilyna. "He wasn't just waiting for the opportunity. He was one of those... things... Why did he turn?"

The ship finally manages to align with the ship, and the locks are ready to use. (Karana)

Athorus nods and get son comms. "This is Korum on the cargo module, what is happening? Can we do anything from here?" (Karana)

Mendez grunts as he pushes off the crate and floats through the air, spinning like a log. Eventually he reaches the wall and uses it to stop his rotation.

Ilyna nods. "Maybe the... other person turning caused him to do so too," she says, "or he chose to."

Victoria checks the sensors to see if the cargo hold is in the correct position to lock in place.

Leah furrows her brow. "Chose to? What does that even mean?"

Victoria locks the cargo hold into place

Chose to turn. I... won't pretend to understand him.

Damien hears the locks, uh, lock in place. "Holy shit, she did it," he mutters

There is another clank and groan as the cargo hold is returned to the ship - gravity comes online, causing the crates to come crashing to the floor. (Karana)

Ilyna looks towards the cargo hold door, but doesn't get up with the chance of another shudder.

Mendez crashes down to the floor hard. "Mother fucker! I'm sick and fucking tired of this no gravity bullshit!" he cusses loudly as he rises back to his feet and looks over the wound across his chest.

Never had a doubt in my mind. She's good. S'why we hired her, ain't it?

Can I go to the infirmary now and get pumped full of painkillers? I think my rib is about to try and kill me...

Athorus falls to the floor, landing decently well, but a small crate falls on him, causing him to yell out in pain and shove it off before rolling over on his back. (Karana)

Halisi nods for Damien to come along, stepping out into the corridor and making her way towards the cargo hold in a hurry. She stops once she sees Mendez and Athorus, going to Athorus first to scan him. (Karana)

Mendez tugs at his shirt and looks over the large gash. "Got me good." he mutters.

Damien follows suit. He continues past people and into the other corridor, giving a tired smile to Ilyna and Leah. "Well, we're alive... Barely."

Jason sits down on the nearest bed and reaches up, holding his forehead in his hand. "This whole trip was fucked..." he groans, "And we weren't even able to recover the artifact. And... Vasquez...." he trails off.

Halisi moves on to Mendez once she is satisfied that Athorus is mostly fine. She scans the human with a nod. "I'll get you patched up. Come." (Karana)

Leah glances over at Damien and a large smile crosses her face. "Well... Looks like you lost a little weight since I last saw you, Monroe."

(Comms) "We all good to get out of here?"

Damien looks at his stump and gives it a little wiggle. "Har de har... And you've seem to have shrunk," he counters, smirking slightly.

Leah frowns and looks down at her legs. "...It's pretty bad." she says, "Sounds like I won't be putting on my dancing shoes anytime soon..."

Damien 's face softens. "Good thing I can't dance," he says. "Medbay?"

Halisi starts moving towards the medbay, urging Mendez to follow. (Karana)

Mendez gives Halisi a nod and follows behind her. "I-... The creature clawed me. Am I at risk....?"

Ilyna stands up and nods to Damien. She then looks down at Leah. "Would you like any help getting somewhere?" she says. "I can carry you."

Victoria starts piloting the ship back to Aite.

Damien moves to the side, looking at the ruined door of the medbay.

Leah winces upon hearing Ilyna's offer to carry her. "No I-... I think I'm good where I am for now..."

Halisi looks over her shoulder. "The scan looked fine, but I'll take a blood sample to be sure. Unless it injected any of the liquid you should be fine, don't worry." (Karana)

Jattic glances over at Jason. "You did what you thought was best. No sense in dwelling on it now."

Steve pats Victoria on the shoulder. "Well, fuck! You actually did it! Nice-fucking-job."

It's no problem, Leah. I still have enough biotics left in me.

"Thanks. Now go check on the pilot and those kids." She said to Briggs in a blank tone.

Leah shakes her head a couple times. "No... no... It's not that... Really-..." she sighs, but quickly forces a smile, "I just... I'm good. Honest."

Steve smirks and lets out a chuckle. "Fuuuuck that. Those little shits are creepy as fuck. Kids are bad enough. Creepy cultist kids? Not my thing."

Damien takes a step back from the medbay, rather disturbed by the dead man. He simply moves to the wall and slides down next to Leah, eyes rather blank. "So he was one of those?"

"Then fucking get someone else to do it then. Make sure they don't eat the former pilot or some shit."

Leah gives a short nod, staring straight ahead. "I don't know how. I know we needed him for information on the Chief but-... I didn't have any choice."

Halisi stops when she sees the medbay. "...actually, I think I'll treat you outside the airlock instead." She moves to the next door over, stopping briefly to look at Leah. "Someone should really get her to a bed." She's in too much of a rush to converse further. (Karana)

Hey now... Just cuz I paid you a compliment doesn't mean I'm your fuckin' lap dog. You want them checked on, then get off your ass and check on 'em.

Damien nods slowly. "I think... A long sleep is in order... And a fuck ton of booze...".

Leah waves the doctor off. "Booze? Sure. A long sleep? I've slept long enough... I'm sore, frustrated, and just want to get some food in me."

I was talking mostly about me...

Damien forces a laugh.

Ilyna tilts her head, but nods at Halisi. "I can move her to her bunk," she says, not retracting her offer.

"I will crash this ship into a fucking sun. Do not fuck with the pilot."

Ya know what the crazy thing is? I think you just might be dumb enough to follow through on that threat.

Steve gives Vicky the finger and a wink before heading back down the corridor.

"You know I fucking will. So you check on them or get someone to do it. Please."

Steve waves her comment off as he heads to the crew module and steps inside. "Ships back in order. You all alive and well?"

Alessa is still as she was when Victoria left her, sitting against the wall sobbing. The children seem almost frozen in place, staring at the dead Steve. Living Steve gets no response. (Karana)

Steve shrugs. "Eh... You'll be fine. Might wanna clear out so we can get someone to space the body. No point leavin' it around to infect someone else."

Damien rests his head against the wall, blood from his head wound trickling to run down the bridge of his nose.

Leah shakes her head at Ilyna. "Not neccessary, Ilyna. Please... Just let me sit for a while."

Mendez glances over the group in the hall before following Halisi into the airlock. "How many were infected?" he asks.

Halisi sighs. "Three." She opens up her medical satchel, taking out a medi-gel canister and starting to apply medigel to Mendez wounds. "I'll get this properly stitched once the infirmary is cleaned up. This will do for now." (Karana)

Ilyna sighs. "Alright," she says. "Contact me on the comms when you're ready to get back to the bunk room." She then makes her way out into the cargo bay, looking around to see the extent of the damage to vital supplies like food.

Much of the cargo is damaged, with the contents of several crates spread out across the floor. (Karana)

Victoria flys the ship

Mendez nods. "No worries. I'll be fine. Make sure the rest are alright." he says.

Halisi finishes with the medigel and takes out a small device with she pricks Mendez with. She proceeds to hold it under her omni-tool for a while, eyes darting across the screen. "You're fine. No signs of infection." She smiles slightly at the man, trying to give him a pat on the shoulder - although it ends up more in his chest due to the height disparity. (Karana)

Ilyna sighs, and continues on her way through. She moves into the bunk room and heads towards her bunk.

Mendez ' expression doesn't change much. "Good." he says plainly before exiting the airlock and heading down the corridor. He stops in the cargo hold and begins the long proccess of hunting down all his gear.

Jason glances over at Ilyna as she enters the room. "How's everyone doing?"

Halisi exits back into the corridor and looks down at Damien and Leah. "Can I convince either of you to come back to your bunks? You should both rest." She scans Leah as she speaks to make sure there are no new injuries. (Karana)

Damien has kept his eyes closed, the cold metal against his back hardly a deterrent for his small respite.

I just need a painkiller, doc. Rib is broken again...

Leah glances up at Halisi, cocking an eyebrow at the woman. "I'm fine. Just let me catch my breath a bit." she says. There's no new injuries aside from a few bumps and bruises.

Ilyna sits down on her bunk. "Some have a few new injuries," she says, "but I think everyone of ours are alive." She starts taking off her helmet.

Jason gives a nod, still holding his head in his hand. "Good... Sorry I put you all through this..." he sighs.

Halisi looks a bit concerned about the two of them, but doesn't really have time to argue. She gets to work fixing up the infirmary. (Karana)

Leah gives Monroe a big smile as Halisi walks away, feeling a bit of a personal victory.

It's.... I only did what I had to do.

Jasper passes the omni-tool back to Jattic. "Eh. We all knew what we were gettin' into when we signed on with Redrock, Jason. Angry mercenaries or robot space zombies, it makes no difference. Dyin' is dyin'. This is our job."

Damien cracks open an eye and sighs, closing it again. "Suppose I don't deserve a painkiller," he mutters. His free hand is resting against his leg as he avoids touching the bruising on his side.

Ilyna continues removing armor pieces, dropping them onto her bag which hasn't drifted far. Once she finds Jason's omni-tool, she picks it out and puts it on the bed beside her.

Ilyna would change from her undersuit to her clothes (as quickly as she can) in the bunk room, so it would be kind of rude to look her way.

Jasper is a rude old man.
