The dinner goes by with some small talk and further complinents are said about the food amongst the other small talk. The compliments are also substantiated by the pair of asari going for an even bigger portion number two, Va'ynna even getting through a third and fourth -- albeit smaller -- portion before she has to throw in the towel. Most of the conversation from Uvena and Va'ynna were about the holiday, often seeking

Va'ynna has shifted her chair closer to Victoria to lean on her for support as the extreme food intake has made her quite tired. "It was... too good," she groans as she pushes the plate back an inch, "I should have stopped a long time ago."
Uvena is less affected by the food intake by virtue of not eating as much, but that's not to say it means she's in a hurry to leave the table. "You should have," she agrees before looking Victoria's way. "Thank you, Victoria," she says with a smile.
Victoria went back for seconds, same size serving as her first. When Va'ynna started to lean on her, a constant smile remains on Vicky's face. "I was gonna say something. Too little, too late I guess." She looks at Uvena and gives her a nod. "No problem at all."
Sarah went for seconds and thirds, the second a much larger serving than her first and her third a very small serving. She leans back in her chair after finishing. She nods in agreement with Uvena. "It was a nice dinner, Victoria."
Va'ynna lets out a small groan, and continues to lean on her. "I wouldn't have listened... anyway," she admits.
Uvena smirks at the pair across from her. "Eating until you roll off the chair is an intrinsic part of the holidays," she says, and leans back in her chair. She looks off to the Christmas tree. "So, I don't suppose there's dessert?" she asks with a pointed look Va'ynna's way, the question's tone far from serious.
Victoria gives a slight chuckle at Va'ynna situation. Looks over to coffee with the cookies. "I would say the cookies. If anyone is still hungry after that."
Sarah shakes her head at the mention of cookies. "I think I had my fill for today." She straights herself up in her chair.
Va'ynna breathes a sigh of relief at there being no dessert, though she still returns Uvena's look with narrowed eyes. "You'll have to carry me there," she mumbles.
Uvena shrugs to Victoria after following her glance to the coffee table. "I was just teasing my dear Va'ynna," she says. "I don't think any of us will be hungry for the forseeable future."
Victoria gives another chuckle at Va'ynna and Uvena. She sits silently for a moment with a smile on her face. "Guess I gotta start cleaning up, then we can open the gifts." She remains seated, to see if Va'ynna would allow her to move.
Sarah giggles at the interaction between Va'ynna and Uvena. "Don't think I won't need anything to eat for the next week."
Uvena lets out a sigh. "I'll take care of that," she offers, before standing up with a weary grunt. The look on her face implies she knows how little Victoria appreciates her initiative. She stacks her utensils on her plate, and lifts it along with the one holding the side dishes.
Va'ynna grabs ahold of Victoria's arm, and puts more weight on her. "Victoria is not going anywhere right now," she says matter-of-factly as she looks up at Uvena.
Victoria was getting ready to leave the table, but with Va'ynna grabbing ahold of her arm, she remains seat. "I can't let your mother do all the cleaning." Vicky feels bad for letting Uvena take charge of the cleaning duties.
Sarah puts her utensils on her plate and stands up. "You've done enough for tonight, Victoria. Just have a relaxing moment." She grabs her glass and plate, then move over to the kitchen to help with the cleaning.
Va'ynna doesn't move an inch. There is a not insignificant risk of her dozing off soon if the snuggle is not disrupted. "They clearly want to do it," she murmurs a protest.
Uvena puts down the big plate on the counter before carrying hers to the sink, where she starts rinsing it. There is a brief tight-lipped smile on her face as she Victoria pinned down in the corner of her eyes. "Could you collect their plates at the table?" she says to Sarah after taking the plate off her hands.
Victoria wiggles her arm a little bit. "Hey, if you are gonna fall asleep. I guess I will have to return you present." Trying to find a way to bribe Va'ynna into saying awake. She moves her utensils onto her plate with her free hand.
Sarah gives Uvena a nod. "Yeah, I can do that." She places her plate next to the sink and moves back to the table to collect the last plates. She moves to collect Va'ynna's plates first. "Excuse me lovebirds, I'll leave you alone in just a moment." She collects Vicky's plate and then moves back to the kitchen.
Va'ynna lets out an annoyed hum at being stirred, but she doesn't give any more of a response to Victoria's threat. She does not help with collecting the plate.
Uvena starts loading the plate into the dishwasher, and heads over to collect the glasses as well as the gravy. There are still bottles on the table, and the plate with the roast slices are still there. "We should probably wait for the left overs to cool down some more before stowing them," she says with a glance Victoria's way before heading back to the kitchen.
Victoria places her hand on Va'ynna's knee. She turns her attention to Uvena and gives her a nod. "Once I am free from here, I will deal with the leftovers." She turns her attention back to Va'ynna. "Come on, just stay awake for another hour at least. If I have to wake you up, it won't be softly."
Sarah places the plates next to the sink and goes back to the table to collect the bottles and move them back over into the kitchen.
Va'ynna sighs, and shifts around a bit to make herself more comfortable. "I'm not... going to fall asleep, silly," she murmurs.
Ten minutes go by as the two guests gets every dirty dish (aside from those with leftovers) into the dishwasher, the trash where it's supposed to go and the leftovers put on the kitchen counter.
Uvena seems pleased with herself as she wipes down the cleared table with a cloth, knowing full and well how Victoria feels about the guests doing the work. "Nap time is over, you two," she says affectionately. "Let's relocate."
Va'ynna has not fallen asleep in the meantime, though she has been a bit unresponsive at times. When Uvena speaks to them, she looks at Victoria expectantly; still leaning on her.
Victoria sat there peacefully for the ten minutes, not saying a word and with a smile on her face. Upon hearing Uvena talking about moving along, she looks down at Va'ynna and gives a chuckle. "Looks like you gotta stand up, because I ain't carrying you to the couch." Vicky stands up and offers a hand to Va'ynna.
Sarah during the ten minutes helped Uvena clean up, once finished she moved over to the table. "Don't worry, you should be able to get some rest after the gifts are handed out."
