#Hospital – October 25, 2015

Vasquez | Halisi enters the patient room, taking a look around the room and then glancing down at her datapad.

Vasquez | Li is sitting on the floor, drawing on a datapad. She has just eaten cookies, and has a juicebox.

Pip is staring intently at a blueprint on her omni-tool, her brow furrowed in concentration.

Skythix is curled up in her bed enough so that she wasn't hurting her side too much and trying to face away from everyone else. Her dreams were still taunting her but with different faces every time. Her face looked hagard and her eyes empty.

Zaylus is toying absently with the fingers on one hand, looking tired and just a little bored. He glances inconspicuously between the child and Skythix occasionly.

Ilyna is sitting in the bed, typing on her omni-tool. She occasionally glances at what Li is up to.

Vasquez | Li appears to be drawing blobby blue figures with angry faces and long stretching arms.

Skythix doesn't turn towards the doctor, trying her best to avoid eye contact with everyone in the room. While the faces of the ghosts changed constantly, there was one that was consistent. She couldn't place exactly who it was but she could at least realize it was the same everytime. "Fine, doctor." she said just loud enough for her to hear.

Vasquez | Halisi raises an eyebrow at Skythix, but doens't say anything for now. She looks to the rest, her gaze wandering from patient to patient.

Ilyna is looking at the drawing with a tilted head when Halisi asks. "I'm fine," she simply says.

Pip smiles up at Halisi for a moment. "Living the dream, doc."

Zaylus | "All good." He nods simply, though his tone is somewhat curt, the intial patience he had begining to wear thin.

Vasquez | Halisi starts walking around the room, checking everyone's readings and upon confirming all the readings are looking good she stops by Skythix. "I'd like to have a word. I hear you're good to walk..."

Skythix glanced over at Halisi when she started talking to her. She must be talking about last time she was around. "Er, look. I just wanted to walk around. I'll apologize to the nurse if I have to." At least, she figured that's what this was about.

Halisi offers a reassuring smile. "It'd be better if you talk to me next time. You'll be good to walk without risk of injury soon. Putting stress on your body too soon will just lengthen your recovery time."

Skythix looked at Halisi's smile and her mind replaced the doctor's eyes with darkness, blood dripping from her mouth. She shook her head violently and blinked rapidly with her jaw clenched. "C-can I leave soon? Please?" She sounded like she was begging.

Pip gets back to studying the blueprint, though she quickly switches to a different blueprint.

Ilyna looks towards Halisi and Skythix, but remains quiet.

Halisi shakes her head. "Not yet. But we just need to monitor you for a few more days. Most of the patients are cleared out of here, so I may be able to get you your own room..."

Skythix didn't know what was worse; seeing her friend's dead faces when she looked at them or being in a room to herself so that she could stew in her own head. She gave a quick glance at all the other people in the room but her vision was starting to betray her. Fuck this. "I'm going for a walk." She said while staring at the floor and pushing herself out of the bed with a few grunts. She

Halisi steps aside to let Skythix past and then follows the turian out of the room.

Pip blinks and watches Sky shuffle out the room with the doctor following behind. "Huh."

Skythix could hear the footsteps of someone behind her which made her heart race. "You don't have to follow me, Halisi." She said while still staring at the floor. She figured it was the only person who would bother following her out of the room.

Zaylus watches them depart, turning to give the remaining patients a short glance before looking down again with a quiet muttering breath.

Halisi grunts. "I certainly do. Honestly, I shouldn't be letting you walk around at all."

Pip looks around the room, clicking her tongue. "Great time together, eh? We all... Buddy buddy and all that? Orrrr...".

Skythix shook her head and turned her head towards Halisi to couldn't keep looking at her. It was like she was wearing some kind of horror mask and it made her blood run cold. She instantly looked away from her as if her gaze burned her, staring back at the floor. "I'm fine, dammit! I've had much worse and survived!" She practically shouted indignantly.

Zaylus looks back up to meet Pip with a harsh gaze, leaning up in his bed. "What?" He mutters, annoyed.

Pip coughs awkwardly, shrinking slightly under the turian's gaze. "Uhhhhhhh... Nothin'?"

Vasquez enters the hospital, and after a brief talk with the receptionist she makes her way down the corridor, upon encountering Halisi and Skythix she stops, raising an eyebrow at the near-shouting. "Doctor." She studies Skythix. "You one of ours?"

Zaylus | "No... please, go on." He presses, looking at her through narrowed eyes as he raises a browplate.

Ilyna chuckles at the conversation going on before looking at Li's drawing again.

Pip starts to sink ever so slowly under her covers. "Um... Wh- why are you angry?"

Li is now scribbling a crude depiction of what seems to be herself - a triangular dress and black hair. The blobby creatures are reaching for her.

Skythix looked up instinctivley at the voice that addressed her but didn't recognize. She instantly wished she hadn't. Not only was she able to match a voice to Vasquez's face, she now recognized the face that was constantly reoccuring in her dream. The same one that was killing her friends and herself. The pain of the nightmare suddenly felt very real in her chest. "No no no no no." She

Vasquez seems puzzled, focusing her attention on Halisi. "O...kay. I guess not. Sorry doc, I'm just here to visit the team." She steps aside to let them pass.

Halisi puts her hand on Skythix shoulder. "Skythix? What's wrong?" She eyes the turian with a concerned expression.

Zaylus opens his mouth to spit back, but hesitates. He raises both hands, drawing in a deep breath before responding. "Nothing. Alright? Just trying to understand what you said." He explains tersely, setting back in his bed.

Ilyna frowns for a moment as she think she understands what she's depicting. "What are you drawing?" she asks anyway.

Skythix stayed staring at Vasquez as if she couldn't look away from her. Her vision became tunnelled around the edges and all of her limbs felt numb. Her body felt freezing cold all of a sudden as she continued to back away from the monster that was now staring back at her. She was covered in blood and appeared to be raising a gun at her, a wicked smile that split her head in half teased

Li shrugs in an evasive manner.

Halisi withdraws her hand, stumbling at the wall. "Skythix, calm down! Tell me what's wrong!"

Vasquez immediately takes a step back, drawing the Phalanx from her side and pointing it at Skythix. "Woah, woah!"

Pip sighs lightly. "Nothin'. I'm just ramblin'." She sits up a little more, prodding her omni-tool. "How-". She looks back at the hallway at the sudden scream, nearly jumping out of her skin. " Whatthehell?!"

Li 's eyes widen and she looks towards the door as the scream is heard. She sits very very still.

Zaylus shoots the others a glance before turning his legs off the edge of his bed, fumbling with the equipment as he tries to get up.

Skythix couldn't hear more the a muffled sound coming from the voices around her anymore. The hospital that she was previously in was gone, replaced by some kind of gruesome torture chamber. Her survival basic survival instincts kicked in a told her that there was now danger everywhere. The now eldtrich looking figure in front of her had raised its menacing claw and was about to swipe at her.

Vasquez is hurled down the hallway, a shot striking the ceiling. She hits the floor hard, sliding and rolling back into the reception. The receptionist lets out a panicked yell and ducks down behind the counter.

Halisi immediately activates her omni-tool, fingers moving with great haste across the interface as she preps and fires a neural shock at Skythix to immobilize her.

Ilyna raises her brows, and looks around the room. She then looks al Li. "Come here," she says, shifting to the edge of the bed and leaning out to help her up if she listens to her.

Pip flinches. "GUNFIRE?!'

Zaylus drags medical burden with him as he approaches the doorframe in time to witness the end of Vasquez's roll. Turning sharply he spots the terror driven biotic. "Skythix!" He calls, anger taking the forefront over concern. He shuffles nearer, but not too close.

Li immediately makes her way to Ilyna, hiding her face against her and hugging the asari.

Skythix is hit in the leg by the neural shock but by some adrenaline fueled miracle, she continues to hobble down the hall as her leg quickly fails her. "No no no NO NO!!" She began to sob as the world around her began to sway but the nightmare continued to follow her along. Upon seeing a new horrendous creature appear in front of her, she turned a corner, now using the plague injector as a

Halisi blocks Skythix' path while prepping another neural shock. As soon as it is ready she fires, despite concerns about damage to the turian.

Vasquez groans from pain, lifting her head briefly but then lets it drop back to the floor again. She's bleeding from the back of her head.

Ilyna holds her close while watching the door with narrowed eyes. "Could you send the agency a message, Summers?" she asks, not taking her eyes off the door.

Pip fumbles out of bed, using her one good arm to help her out of bed. She stumbles along to catch up to Zaylus, similarly dragging along whatever bit of medical apparatus follows. She nods and immediately turns back to her bed, stabbing a message to Jason as quickly as she can.

Skythix is hit by the second shock, this time straight into the torso. With a small shout of pain she tumbled to the floor, tripping over her own feet as she continued to sob to herself. "Don't kill me. Stay away." Her body kept trying to fight the paralysis but no matter what she did she couldn't move her limbs. Her eyes darted around as it felt like her own nightmare world was collapsing

Zaylus glances back as Pip follows, then grimly nods as she goes to send the message. He turns his gaze into the hall, holding back as Halisi subdues the wild turian.

Halisi jogs over to Skythix, pulling an injector from a satchel and crouching down next to the turian. Being careful to avoid remaining movement she sedates the turian upon securing a plateless region.

Skythix couldn't fight it any longer. Something pushed something more into her skin. Not more drugs! No dammit! Fight it! But it was no use. Her body turned cold as her eyelids became heavy as the sedative kicked in. "Don't kill me..." She sobbed quietly one last time before she fell under and went still.

Halisi curses under her breath and then calls out for a nurse. After a while the one in the lobby comes running, and they carry Skythix into an unusued room, placing her in the bed. The nurse starts hooking up monitoring equipment, and gives her a scan to make sure no additional physical damage was caused while Halisi goes back into the corridor, heading towards Vasquez. She glances at Zaylus while passing. "Skythix had... an outburst.

Zaylus nods, having pieced together that much. He turns from the door, slowly shuffling back to his bed, the hand not on the equipment balled tighly.

Pip looks back at the doorway, covering her mouth with her hand. "Oh Christ...".

Halisi helps Vasquez up, leading her off through a nearby door.

Halisi emerges from the room after a while, going back to the others. She lets out a sigh while looking around at the remaining Redrock patients. "I've had to sedate Skythix. She'll be staying in a different room. She attacked Vasquez, a shot was discharged. There's no danger now."

Pip had returned to her bed, all tucked in. "Holy crap. Steve and Sky now?"

Ilyna loosens her arms around Li if she's still there. "Did either of them get injured?" she asks.

Zaylus sits with his legs on the side of the bed, settling the equipment back in place as the other hand taps against his leg.

Halisi nods. "Skythix will be out for a while, but she hasn't suffered any fruther damage. Vasquez got quite the concussion, and dislocated an arm. She's being treated right now."

Zaylus looks pointedly at the doctor. "How does this happen?" He asks gruffly.

Halisi shrugs, quite clearly troubled by the whole thing. "I'll be having a word with Skythix once she's awake. I should have known to remove the amps of all biotic patients, that's on me. You're all safe now."

Zaylus 's expression does not change, but quietly he turns from the doctor, raising a hand to rest his face on. He knows there's no reason to press now, especially after her admittance of fault.

Li hasn't moved, her face still hidden and gripping Ilyna tightly.

Ilyna sighs. "My amp is with the rest of my gear, as it has been since I got here," she says before looking down at Li. "It's alright now," she says in a whisper.

Halisi nods. "I should go, I need to consult on what to do about the situation with Skythix. Just call the nurses if you need anything."
