#Deck2 – April 27, 2016
It's the third day of the trip. Dinner ended about half an hour ago, and most people have left the cafeteria. Victoria's voice sounds out over the ship PA: "We are now leaving FTL. An extranet connection will be available for the next hour while discharging the drive core." A moment later the ship can be felt leaving FTL, and the stars return outside the windows.
Uvena is sat next to her usual spot, talking with the occupant of it which happens to be Ilyna. Once the ship exits FTL they both look outside as the distorting effects of the FTL mass effect field are gone.
The Saint Lucia arrived in the Tassrah system almost a day ago, and has been in transit towards Aite since then, after a break of only a few minutes for extranet access. The return trip has remained largely uneventful, the science team staying busy preparing their samples for offloading, and the security team left to pass the time however they can. There is a shudder as the ship drops out of FTL, and Victoria's voice sounds on the (Tyranniac)
speakers. "We have now arrived in the Typhon system, and will begin our approach of Aite. All Syranis Foundation and Redrock Agency personnel are requested to prepare for arrival." (Tyranniac)
